PHP - Php Large Script Processing... Error 404 Page...

Hello All

This was an online test, which I didn't do very well with, and am looking for guidance of where I went wrong.

The idea is you'd have a matrix $A with values -1, 0, 1 in each position, in rows M and column N where M,N can be up to 1000. The code is evaluated $k times where $k can be up to 1000 as well.
 
Starting at $A[0][0], evaluate the matrix where -1 means you go down a row and +1 means you go right one column. A 0 value means you continue along your previous direction.

After exiting a position, that positions value is multiplied by -1: 1 = (-1); (-1) = 1; 0 = 0
Once you exit the matrix either on the right or below, you stop and start over

The goal of the code is to return how many times you exited the bottom right corner, ending up below (not to the right) the matrix; When your spot is [M], [N+1]

It may be fairly ugly, but I'm looking for help with how to properly code this type of solution. Any pointers, resources, suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Okay after correcting the issues with the jQuery side of things I'm having a small error with the php processing side. I'm getting a response back in firebug that there is an undefined index "name" and undefined index "value". Now I'm not sure on a fix but I know I'll have to do some sort of foreach I think because on the jquery dataString is a each so there's going to be more than name and value coming in at one time.

As you can see, I have try adding a sleep to give it time to catch up but something tells me the variables are not being set 1st time for some reason, can anyone shine any light on this?

I make this simple script for upload files like photo , It's work correctly ,but not upload the large files ex 8MB images 12MB images

It's suppose to be executing the mysql edit query but it's bypassing my validation. I wonder what the problem is..

So I'm getting this error message: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '", )' at line 8. I can't see where the '", )' code is in that script. I've looked and contrl + find it but no joy. I've looked through the previous pages and mysql database to ensure the variables and the tables match up. Any help would be appreciated. Maybe some good mysql debug advice. Is there a good debug open source program out there? Any help would be appreciated.

I am modifying someones existing coldfusion web app.  I am adding php processing pages to do various tasks.  Up to this point I have just been calling the php pages, and interacting with the web app by passing variables via the url.

Current usage:

Then processing will do what it has too, then ultimately:

And the webapp will pick up where it has too.  But now one of my scripts has to send a JSON object back instead of simple variables.  I don't know how to get this done.  I tried doing a post with cURL but that wasn't working because I need the public facing coldfusion page to take over and curl returns to the php script (I know I can echo the body of the curl result but this keeps me on the php script domain which I dont want).  Is there a way to do the above header location and send an object because thats what I need - the php script to stop and the coldfusion page to be served up with the object to work with.

Do I have to create some sort of JSON service in php, that the coldfusion page will call an retrieve the result?  If so how?

I have put together a options page for the script that I have been working on.  I have 1 options page where there options are divided into 4 jQuery tabs with there own save button.  The options in each tab are posted using Ajax to their own separate file like process.php, process1.php etc. 
My question is there a way to place all the processing code in one file and if so would this affect the load on the server?  Would each form be better off having their own page for processing?

I'm trying to utilize a PHP script to parse a large XML file (around 450 MB) to MYSQL database into certain structure and definitions of included XML elements. The problem is that the original script uses file_get_contents and SimpleXMLElement to get it done, but the corn job executed by the server halts due to the volume of the XML file. I'm no PHP expert, so I bought this XMLSplit software and divided the XML into 17 separated XML files each at size of 30 MB, parsed them one by one using the same script. However, the output database was missing a lot of input, and I have serious doubts whether this would be the same output of the original file if left not divided automatically and parsed one by one. So, I've decided to use XMLReader with this exact PHP script to parse this big XML file, but so far I couldn't manage to simply replace the parsing code and keep other functionality intact. Can someoneplease help, I need to setup an error page like IF Username and Password are wrong then show an error also if there is no username or password in the fields and I just click LOGIN, I get a blank page?!

Ok so I have one page with a set of links created with table data:

That link displays fine as the first name and last name in the table as it should and also when clicked goes on to Aplayer.php?player=1/2/3etc as it should.

However when it comes to loading the Aplayer.php with the appropriate ID action applied I get the following error:

The codes for the Aplayer.php page is below, now I thought "unexpected $end" usually meant a '}' was missing, or incorrectly inserted in the code.
I must however be wrong due to the fact Ive checked for extra/missing '}'s and all seems ok.

Can someone skim through the following and point to me whats wrong, and a little explination would be nice where possible to ensure I dont make the same mistake in future.

The above code works but it takes too long and doesn't finish then the ERROR... I think that there should be a way to perform what I'm trying to do another way (without putting another query in my php code) but I can't figure it out... any help would be great!

Hi everybody, my goal is to get the IP of someone accesing the site, writing the time and date along with his IP into the database. Of course, I would be adding the script to my frontpage when I make it work.
But I get this error:
