PHP - Help Maintaining A Count ?

Hey, I want to be able to have a 100x100 thumbnail of pictures I am uploading while cropping the image to maintain the ratio. Right now I am stretching the image and it looks bad but it works. Here is my code...

How could I change this to make the thumbnails maintain the aspect ratio but still be 100x100?

I have a problem of separating MySQL concatenated info, yet still maintaining their relationship to other arrays in the same order. First off here is the MySQL code:

The most important thing is to get all attributes about each report. The thing is, each report can have as many records as it must, in order to store various types of information, like, if multiple analysts are working on the report, then each one saves their own record, but when retrieving these records MYSQL concatenates the records, to make it look to the analysts like this

Report 1 --- Josh, Rebecca --- Philippines

However, my problem is trying to display the reports by country... as you can see http://shoutkey.com/carriage. I have no idea about how to split up the countries, while maintaining their relationship to the $rows pulled from MySQL. I am gonna post the entire code, and let me know if anybody has any ideas.

Why am I getting this error when there are 3 Fields with 3 values?

In this way, I get list with categories and hes subcategories. How to count how many subcategories have each categories, and count how many articles have each categories?

Hi,

I have successfully implemented a master details page with the results aligned in columns linking to a details page.
I wish to maintain the recordID passed from the master details page and make the dynamic text, which reads
Shade
A tree that is capable of.....
in the attached screen shot a link to another details page referencing the same recordID.

The detailspage2.php would look the same as the screenshot except the Shade text and description below will be highlighted, which I can do, there will be a new image and a new image description.  All other dynmaic elements on the page will remain the same.

I tried to simply save as my detailspage.php to detailspage2.php and create a link to detailspage2.php. It linked to detailspage2.php but none of the record info showed up in their respective table cells.

I have all the names desc's, images, etc setup in a table in my database.

Please let me know what code and other info you need to help me out with this procedure.

Hello, I'm using the following code to count the amount of SQL results and divide it. Works great as is but I want to alter it so it works with categories.

I tried adding...

WHERE car_cat = '".$cat."'

which causes an error.

Why doesn't this work, and how can I get the amount of results as a variable?

Please tell me why the array count is 2.

I need to add a condition to a while() statement I have. It should run when $counter is less than the number of records in  my $products array which has 5 products. I set  $counter  and  $product_no to 0.
I need to use the count() function to get the number of records.  Does that make sense? Do ya'll need more info. Any help is Greatly appreciated. Ive referenced and searched but cant figure out how to incorporate it. Im still learning.
