I am using PHP and i want to extract the red text including the orange text but only between the blue text.
i tried a lot, but i cant find the solution.
This is what i tried: $repattern = '/<td class="program_date">(\s+\S+.+)\s+.+(\s\S.+)<\/a>/i';
The final result should look like this:
Array with following Data inside:
Mo, 09.06.2014
13:45
16:15
Di, 10.06.2014

Hi I am trying to search an array that comes from a power shell script, the array of strings that returns is ever changing as it receives variables from the script. Therefore I need to use preg_grep to search for the word "not" I am also using another array which inverts this I then need to compare these new two arrays to the original and separate the results $working and not working into a table. I would be most grateful for any advice/solutions. The preg_grep aren't displaying anything.

The user enters data into form fields and he or she can enter text into another form field (needle) to search the data fields (haystack). When the search string matches something in the data fields the associated data fields are highlighted in a yellow background color. Right now the search string is acting funny. When I enter a search string I get no highlighting unless if the first character(s) of the search string are the same as the first character(s) for the items. For instance, If I search for the text "at" in the word "bat" I will not get any yellow highlighting. But I would get highlighting for "bat" if I search for "ba." How would I change the code so that any data field is highlighted if the search string exists anywhere in the text for the data field? Also, I figured out how to stop the form fields from being yellow if they and the search field are empty/NULL, but I did this part in another file (as an IF statement) and can't seem to get it to work in the other file. How would I make it do the highlighting if and only if there is a search string in the search field (i. e. only highlighting when the search field is not NULL/empty). Hi there, In my attached PHP script, I extract text between two strings in the input file and write the extracted text to an output file. Everything seems to work fine, except I can't figure out how to include the row that says "Richland" (after the row that says "Creighton") in the extracted text. If someone could guide me how to do this, I'd greatly appreciate it. The PHP script is attached. I have an issue and I'm not even sure if it can be done with PHP, but even this info would help me (to stop looking for an answer). I need to populate a (MySQL) database with stuff which is now written in a (HTML formatted) file. Here are my options: 1. Copy/paste each single field via PHPMyAdmin . 2. Write a little script to extract the necessary parts of text from these files to create a CSV-like content which I would then easily INSERT into the db. Since it's possible to tell when each part required for extraction begins and ends, I would expect the script to look for these key-points (according to the example, it would be: img/ to "></d then "><b> to </b>< and else"> to </div>) and return a result like this (acc. to the example): ('what_i_need_to_extract_1.png', 'What I need to extract 2', 'What I need to extract 3'), (and so on...). Is it possible? Is there a function/option/way to look for a start/end-point like this and fetch the part between these two set points? If so - how?
