PHP - Check Box Results

Okay, after successfully getting a form to input data to a MySQL database, I'm now trying to get the data back out by searching.

All good there!  Form displays how I want it to, and submits correctly.

The bit I'm struggling with is the process_search.php side of things.  This is what I have (note that i'm trying to get the results into a formatted table and I'd like more results if the match is in more than one column):

I have this code and Im using a while to fetch all the data where users comments are but i want to change it to fetch only 25 rows at a time and each time it refreshes it fetch's 25 more different rows.

I only wnat to read 25 comments at a time and when i click a button to read more then it reads 25 more rows but it dose not read the data unless requested... can any one help me?

I was wondering if anybody knows where I can find a good tutorial on how to set up a "narrow results" script in php? I'm sure it's pretty easy, but I'm still getting the hang of searches, so I'm looking for anything that helps beat it into my brain.

What I expect:
- The function to loop output all of the rows which match the search results.

Can someone please give me some ideas as to what might be wrong with this query...I keep getting no result and am echoing $count for debugging (and usernames and passwords) but get nothing for $count (expecting a 0 or a 1) or $dbusername or $dbpassword

I want to be able to display the looped results side by side in columns of two. Example: 1 2 3 4
5 6   I've tried using pseudo classes to display only the even and odd results in the different table columns, but honestly have no idea how to do this. I'm new to PHP, so my apologies if the results are really obvious. Thanks in advance!

How to check if a result of a database match with a result of another database. How do  this?

E.g.
In DatabaseA holds a column called usernames.
In DatabaseB holds a column called banned.

Is it possible to match results of an Array with an Arrary of results of another database and COUNT the matching results?

E.g.
In DatabaseA holds 4 columns and the records are pulled in as an array.
Science
Geography
Accounting
Agriculture

Just a quick one.

I want my output result to look like this. In its simplistic form I have 2 columns, NAME and NUMBER.

So the output results are grouped by the "name" field, then ordered by the "number" field.

I thought it was GROUP BY, but that function is something else.

Iv tried searching around but im unsure what you call this form of grouping results.

Lets say I have an array of different values... for example,

Lets say my database contains:

I can View all information based on all projects and this works fine althoughh I only wish to display the relevent info for a selected project.

Is it possible to store in php the results of variable id="going" javascript instead of <span id="going"></span>?.

I have a variable called clientid being passed via a url. I place that in a variable called $clientid

I have two tables, client and web_info

I want to select all from client and web_info for the appropriate clientid. I may not have my tables set up correctly. The primary key on the table client is auto genereated and titled client_id the primary key on web_info is e_mail and I want to pull information from the table web_info where the e_mail columns match.

Below is my PHP:

$query = "SELECT * FROM client WHERE $clientid = client_id and FROM web_info WHERE client.e_mail = web_info.e_mail";
$result = mysqli_query($connection,$query);
$row = mysqli_fetch_array($result);

I know I probably screwed all this up but please help
