PHP - Redirect To Payment With Session Before Ability To Use Email
I am working on getting members that are ready to make a payment after they have logged in and want to view their emails to make the payment first. How can I reprogram my session to stop them from entering the email section and make a payment first.

I've been reading you need to tell the php to put it to a temporary file from the submit.. then move it to the file name and then somehow include that file name in the php email back. So maybe a url and its private or htaccess? or does it get included as attachment in the mail? Im not sure if i should be using 'id' or 'name' in the html form etc and how to tie it together. Ideally after successful transaction the page should redirect to order confirmation page but it is redirecting to our cart page.In IE7 it is working fine but in mozilla firefox it is redireting to cart page.On analyzing we found that session is not persisting in firefox. Please help we have stuck here Suggest something if you have faced similar issue with different browsers. I activate the Payment Gateway Platform (by Redsys in Spain), and it works fine asking you for card number and it goes through correctly and says PAYMENT OK, but the notification.PHP FILE does not work. Site A offers user a login page and validates the credentials by calling HTTPRequest on site B ( this call starts new session, user password is checked and session id stored in the db). If user login details are OK, site A redirects user to site B ( different domains and physical boxes). It worked well before the last Safari update (5.0.1) - when user login is being checked, server B creates session X, after the redirect, session_start() creates absolutely different session Y. This doesn't always work as I guess some people move from the form page to look at other pages on my site then come back to fill in the form. I think I need to use SESSION to keep the id 'active' but cannot figure out how to GET the id from the URL and put it into a SESSION, alas I am struggling to even start and finish a basic SESSION. Is it possible to setup some kind of "after so long, it changes the state of something from 'fighting' to 'active'" query or function? What is happening is that people are fighting in my game, then choosing to just close their browser rather than quit the fight, to change the monster's state back to 'active', so other people can fight it. I have a client who would like to be able to update her photos in the gallery weekly, and possibly update any text on the site herself (description etc). What is the best way to go about this? She used a site builder to get it up and running, but I don't have access to the host, so I don't have access to databases or know if they allow PhP.
Would an admin panel be the best way about this?
If so, would anyone mind talking me through a rough step-by-step of the process?

I've been lurking for a while and decided it was time to ask you guys...Here's the issue: I have a table 'payments' that contains scheduled payments that looks like: id clientid paymentduedate balance expected pending 367 112233 4/16/2011 1030.00 257.50 Y 368 112233 5/16/2011 1030.00 257.50 Y 369 112233 6/16/2011 1030.00 257.50 Y 370 112233 7/16/2011 1030.00 257.50 Y What I need to do that I haven't figured out is to adjust the expected amount according to the payment, update the status to N (not pending) without affecting the later expected payments. For example: they make a payment of $257.50, applies that to row 367, sets the status to N, but leaves the other status' to Y (for obvious reasons). the make a payment of $250.00, leaving the balance at $7.50, so lets add $7.50 to row 368, mark 367 status to N the make a payment of $300.00, leaving the expected balance at $0.00 for row 367, but adjust the balance for row 368 to $215.00 Any ideas?
