Hi.
I'm working on some program. It adds new posts to facebook profiles, fanpages and groups. Everything works well, but when I want to create image uploading it just doesn't work (whitepage as result + file probably isn't even send, because of very short sending time).

I have now been asked to build in an option where they can enter text into the database and the script takes the text and either creates an image that is 1000pixels wide and 700 pixels tall with the text filled in the image or it just have the text re-sized to fit a text box with the same dimensions as above, so the students can see the text displayed from down the hall on the monitors. I would also like the script to have the ability to explode the text so the words can stay large in case of the user entering a long winded entry. Thank you in advance for any help. Hi,
I have a crwal engine and every time when I try to take a picture from a specific website, it also take some bullshit from superfish, creating iframe and div class, that I can`t deleted using jquery after my page is load.
I was looking in my code and I found out that the only thing that trigger that is the <img src="<?php h(getPicture($itemRow['site'], if I remove 'site', I don`t see any other superfish code but also don`t see the picture. What can I do to take only the .jpg picture , without any of the other crap?
<?php for ($i = 0; $i < count($itemRow['pics']); $i++) { ?> This topic has been moved to Miscellaneous. http://www.phpfreaks.com/forums/index.php?topic=342897.0 ok i have a image uploading script here, it works fine but theres one thing im unhappy with when i first downloaded it it had 1 working one, and the rest examples which you basically have to put together yourself with the sample code (doesen't work without adding missing coding), i have done all that then i took the time to add a random string prefix, im new at php so it took me awhile to work out which strings would work in the right area. now this is what i need help with, when it uploads it has two options, download and remove, these both work fine, but on the file uploader that does work it has "file uploaded to "http://site.com/image.png" the example of course did not work (had loading bar working, and etc but didn't upload or have the feature i just mentioned) and the coder of the script used javascript and inner html for the file uploaded.... etc, because it uploads without refreshing, only thing is i cant seem to get it to work with the new random string i put in, i tried to recreate one with the same type of thing they used for the filename but it didn't work well here is the code, hope you can help. image upload handler Code: [Select] <?php require_once "phpuploader/include_phpuploader.php" ?> <?php $uploader=new PhpUploader(); if(@$_GET["download"]) { $fileguid=$_GET["download"]; $mvcfile=$uploader->GetUploadedFile($fileguid); header("Content-Type: application/oct-stream"); header("Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=\"" . $mvcfile->FileName . My problem is I have a deadline to finish this in under 3 hours for use on my website. What I need it to do is create thumbnails in a /Thumbnail/ sub-folder, with thumbnails being cropped to 100px x 100px. If the full image is larger than 600px x 600px they would have to be resized down to nothing more than 600px for the longest side. I wouldn't mind if they were 300px x 600px, just nothing larger than 600px. I'm willing to pay for this to be completed, I only have roughly $50 though. I know this isn't a freelance area, but it kind of suits this area too with a freelance option. After the upload script is done, I have to work on a php system to get the images and display them, so that I'm not directly linking images. So anyone got some spare time to help out? Hey, I have found a script off the net which uploads an image to a directory but even though it says the image was uploaded successfully - it didn't actually upload it. The folder permission is 775 (im assuming that is correct). The script i found is he http://www.reconn.us/content/view/30/51/ Code: [Select] <?php //define a maxim size for the uploaded images in Kb define ("MAX_SIZE","100"); //This function reads the extension of the file. It is used to determine if the file is an image by checking the extension. function getExtension($str) { $i = strrpos($str,"."); if (!$i) { return ""; } $l = strlen($str) - $i; $ext = substr($str,$i+1,$l); return $ext; } //This variable is used as a flag. The value is initialized with 0 (meaning no error found) //and it will be changed to 1 if an errro occures. //If the error occures the file will not be uploaded. $errors=0; //checks if the form has been submitted if(isset($_POST['Submit'])) { //reads the name of the file the user submitted for uploading $image=$_FILES['image']['name']; //if it is not empty if ($image) { //get the original name of the file from the clients machine $filename = stripslashes($_FILES['image']['name']); //get the extension of the file in a lower case format $extension = getExtension($filename); $extension = strtolower($extension); //if it is not a known extension, we will suppose it is an error and will not upload the file, //otherwise we will do more tests if (($extension != "jpg") && ($extension != "jpeg") && ($extension != "png") && ($extension != "gif")) { //print error message echo '<h1>Unknown extension!</h1>'; $errors=1; } else { //get the size of the image in bytes //$_FILES['image']['tmp_name'] is the temporary filename of the file //in which the uploaded file was stored on the server $size=filesize($_FILES['image']['tmp_name']); //compare the size with the maxim size we defined and print error if bigger if ($size > MAX_SIZE*1024) { echo '<h1>You have exceeded the size limit!</h1>'; $errors=1; } //we will give an unique name, for example the time in unix time format $image_name=time().'.'.$extension; //the new name will be containing the full path where will be stored (images folder) $newname="images/".$image_name; //we verify if the image has been uploaded, and print error instead $copied = copy($_FILES['image']['tmp_name'], $newname); if (!$copied) { echo '<h1>Copy unsuccessfull!</h1>'; $errors=1; }}}} //If no errors registred, print the success message if(isset($_POST['Submit']) && !$errors) { echo "<h1>File Uploaded Successfully! I have created a page for users to upload files, but for some reason end users can't access the files. we are getting an access denied page and every time files get uploaded i have to ftp to the site and change the permissions. is there something i am missing? I tried undoing the mysql changes but it still won't upload the image to the directory. Am testing on my own computer using xampp so no file permission issues, plus it was working before. I have a page that shows entries in a guestbook I'm making, and below the entries there is supposed to be a form to write an entry. Except, none of the HTML after the script to show the entries shows up on the page. I have no clue what's wrong. Here is the script to show the entries. $n is name, $d is date, $s is site (optional), and $m is message. $file = fopen("posts.txt", 'rb'); flock($file, LOCK_SH); while(!feof($file)){ $entry = fgetcsv($file, 0, '|'); if(empty($entry)){exit;} $d = $entry[1]; $n = $entry[2]; $s = $entry[3]; $m = $entry[4]; echo ' <table style="border: #3399AA 1px solid;"><tr style="background: #3399AA; font: bold 10px verdana,sans-serif; color: #FFFFFF;"> <td width="170">'.$n.'</td> <td align="right" width="170">'.$d.'</td> </tr> '; if($s != 'none'){ echo ' <tr><td colspan="2" style="font: 10px verdana,sans-serif; color: #3399AA;"> <b>Site: </b><a href="'.$s.'">'.$s.'</a> <center><div style="width: 250; height: 1px; background: #3399AA; margin: 10px;"></div></center></td></tr> '; } echo ' <tr> <td colspan="2" style="font: 10px verdana,sans-serif; color: #3399AA;">'.$m.'</td> </tr></table><br> '; } flock($file, LOCK_UN); fclose($file); The file it is reading looks like this: Code: [Select] |11:51 am, 3rd Nov 2010|Memoria|none|Hello. :) |11:51 am, 3rd Nov 2010|Memoria|http://sitehere|Hello again. |11:51 am, 3rd Nov 2010|Memoria|none|How are you doing? Thanks! Hi there, Im working on my little project and I would appreciate your help. I have only basic knowledge of php, mostly I just copy some scripts that could be useful for me. Im trying to find some simple script that allows me to see the written text on web page no. 1 on webpage no. 2.. Something like send the form to email, except I dont want to send it on email, but different webpage. Something like different way of eshop, where you get your order shipped to email, but I wanna send this information to webpage. Is there such a script like Im describing? Probably is but I dont know how to search for this..
Thank You
Edited by Radim, 21 October 2014 - 07:15 AM. I'm have trouble getting my script to show images in a table across the screen. I want to show the picture and have the description shown below it. Right now it shows it in a column with the name next to it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Below is the script. <?php include 'config1.php'; // Connect to server and select database. mysql_connect($dbhost, $dbuser, $dbpass)or die("cannot connect"); mysql_select_db("vetman")or die("cannot select DB"); $result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM $dbname WHERE year = '1954'") or die(mysql_error()); // store the record of the "" table into $row //$current = ''; // keeps getting the next row until there are no more to get if($result && mysql_num_rows($result) > 0) { $i = 0; $max_columns = 3; echo "<table>"; echo "<br>"; while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)) { // make the variables easy to deal with extract($row); // open row if counter is zero if($i == 0) echo "<tr>"; echo "<td align=center>"; ?> <div> <a><img src="<?php echo $tn; ?>"</a><a><?php echo $title; ?></a></div> <?php echo "</td>"; // increment counter - if counter = max columns, reset counter and close row if(++$i == $max_columns) { echo "</tr>"; $i=0; } // end if } // end while } // end if results // clean up table - makes your code valid! if($i > 0) { for($j=$i; $j<$max_columns;$j++) echo "<td> </td>"; echo '</tr>'; } mysql_close(); ?> </table> Ok, so I have a bit of code but it's not working as it should, would one of you guys have a look at it and let me know where I'm going wrong? Basically I need to be able to input several words or terms into the text area, each on a separate line and have the results displayed something like: hello: 23,000.000 hello world: 19,000,000 world: 278,000,000 I also see that the script is not searching the words / terms inside quotes (EG. "hello world") TIA Code: [Select] <html> <body> <?php function my_fetch($url,$user_agent='Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.01; Windows NT 5.0)') { $ch = curl_init(); curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_URL, $url); curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_USERAGENT, $user_agent); curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_HEADER, 0); curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1); curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_REFERER, 'http://www.google.com/'); $result = curl_exec ($ch); curl_close ($ch); return $result; } $s = $_GET['s']; if (isset($s)) { echo "<p><i>Search for $s</i></p>"; $s = urlencode($s); $data = my_fetch("http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=" . $s .
