PHP - Problem Of Displaying Iframe In Ie8 And Safari
Similar TutorialsHello! Looking for some advice regarding displaying content from my databases on my members websites via an iframe. Here's what I want to do; Members on my site are rated and reviewed, what I wanted to do was create a piece of code that they could embed on their website to show their reviews. My first instincts where to create an iframe and use the source to pass get variables to my server to identify the member and then use these in a query to select member reviews. Here is the code; For their site; Code: [Select] <iframe frameborder="0" height="250px" width="700px" scrolling="auto" src="http://www.mysite.co.uk/reviews.php?ID=9999&aKey=123456"></iframe> Passes the member ID and a unique access key for that member. The page on my site; (reviews.php) include_once $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] . // path to script files $ID=mysql_real_escape_string($_GET['ID']); $aKey=mysql_real_escape_string($_GET['aKey']); if(empty($aKey) || empty($ID)){ die("Key or ID not set,Selection Error"); exit;} $reviewresult = mysql_query("SELECT Name,Review,Date FROM Reviews WHERE ID='$ID' AND aKey='$aKey' Order by RAND() Limit 10"); //if there is at least one review if($reviewresult && mysql_num_rows($reviewresult) > 0) { while($review = mysql_fetch_array($reviewresult)) { // output reviews } } Are there any security risks with this script? Do you think it is the best method to accomplish what I want? Are there better alternatives? Any suggestions or room for improvement? Thanks! Ok, my php skills are such that I can customize an existing script to some extend, but I can't write one. My problem is the following: I'm using a php-based forum script in a friends website. I load the 'forum.php' script in an iframe of a static page. When a user gets a response to a post that he wrote on the forum, he receives a mail with a link which - if clicked - gets him to the response he got ie. http://someurl.com/forum.php?todo=viewtopic&tid=6#t2 The problem is now that if he clicks the link, the file of course doesn't open in the iframe of the static page (http://someurl.com/forum.html) where normally this forum.php file opens. I guess I will have to make the static page also into a php-file and then use parts of the clicked url (forum.php?todo=viewtopic&tid=6#t2) and insert it into the iframe as the file to load ... would appreciate a lot if anyone can advice me how to do that! Thanks in advance, K. chatframe.php Code: [Select] <? print "<center><iframe src='chatlog.php' name='chatlogframe' width='350' height='400'></iframe>"; print "<br><br>"; print "<iframe src='menu.php' width='350' height='150' frameborder='0'></iframe></center><br><br>"; ?> But actually im want to be as this as the login page is succesfuly direct to form 2 the iframe will be going below chat screen how can i do that? i cannot figure out why my first result is not displaying properly it successfully shows all results but me first myurl.com/other.php?id=2 now showing any thing kindly help to solved this problem! it seems like problem is in variable $http$ids but dunno how to combine them to get result $Ids always b numeric number <?php ini_set ("display_errors", "1"); error_reporting(E_ALL); $http = "myurl.com/other.php?id=" ; $conn=odbc_connect('greeting','',''); if (!$conn) {exit("Connection Failed: " . $conn);} $sql="SELECT * FROM mytable"; $rs=odbc_exec($conn,$sql); if (!$rs) {exit("Error in SQL");} echo "<table border= 1><tr>"; echo "<th>ID</th>"; echo "<th>Like</th>"; echo "<th>title</th></tr>"; while (odbc_fetch_row($rs)) { $ids=odbc_result($rs,"ID"); $title=odbc_result($rs,"title"); echo "<tr><td>$ids</td>"; echo "<td><fb:like href=\"$http$ids\" layout=\"button_count\" show_faces=\"false\" width=\"100\" font=\"tahoma\" colorscheme=\"dark\"></fb:like> </td>"; echo "<td>$title</td></tr>"; } echo "</table>"; odbc_close($conn); ?> hey, im trying to show data in a text box thats being retrived from a database, but if there is a ' in it, it will only show the text up to that point. (ie. if it has "You're" it will only show "You") here is the code im using echo "<input type='text' value='$picComment'>"; Hi, my site is displaying something weird, http://86.21.243.231/ on the table at the bottom, it should list the amount of tickets sold. if the user deposits 0.3, then it should display 3 seperate rows for 0.1 with their payout address. but for 0.3, it displays 2 rows of 0.15 instead. the code for the table is: Code: [Select] $sql="SELECT * FROM tickets WHERE `round` = '$round' AND `confirmed` = 'yes' ORDER BY timestamp ASC"; $result=mysql_query($sql); $row=mysql_fetch_array($result); $result=mysql_query($sql); while($row = mysql_fetch_array( $result )) { $ticketamount = $row['amount']; $ticketspurchased = (int)($ticketamount / $ticketprice); $ticketamount = $ticketamount / $ticketspurchased; for ( $counter = 1; $counter <= $ticketspurchased; $counter += 1) { $i++; echo "<tr><td>"; echo $i; echo "</td><td>"; echo $row['address']; echo "</td><td>"; echo $ticketamount; echo "</td><td>"; echo $row['confirmed']; echo "</td><td>"; echo $row['timestamp']; echo "</td></tr>"; } } 0.5 shows correctly Any ideas? I am querying my database to show the visit statistics for a particular week and it shows the number of visits for the countries, but does not display the country name.
I have proved that the MySQL works by going into phpMyAdmin and pasting the query into SQL query tab, replacing the POST with 1, for week 1.
I can't see why it is not displying the country.
Here is the code:
<?php include('connect_visits.php'); doDB7(); $WVisit_data="SELECT WeekNo15.WNo, WeekNo15.WCom, Countries.Country, Countries.CID, ctryvisits15.CVisits FROM ctryvisits15 LEFT JOIN Countries ON ctryvisits15.country = Countries.CID LEFT JOIN WeekNo15 ON ctryvisits15.WNo = WeekNo15.WNo WHERE ctryvisits15.WNo = '{$_POST['WeekNo']}' ORDER BY ctryvisits15.CVisits DESC"; $WVisit_data_res = mysqli_query($mysqli, $WVisit_data) or die(mysqli_error($mysqli)); $display_block =" <table width=\"20%\" cellpadding=\"3\" cellspacing=\"1\" border=\"1\" BGCOLOR=\"white\" > <tr> <th>Country</th> <th>Visits</> </tr>"; while ($WV_info = mysqli_fetch_array($WVisit_data_res)){ $Ctry = $WV_info['country']; $Visits = $WV_info['CVisits']; //add to display $display_block .=" <tr> <td width=\"10%\" valign=\"top\">".$Ctry."<br/></td> <td width=\"5%\" valign=\"top\">".$Visits."<br/></td> "; } mysqli_free_result($WVisit_data_res); mysqli_close($mysqli); ?> <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> <!-- Design by Free CSS Templates http://www.freecsstemplates.org Released for free under a Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 License Name : Yosemite Description: A two-column, fixed-width design with dark color scheme. Thank you Chrome is the browser I use, I have it set up so that the script detects safari and chrome as separate entities. When I browse to it, it shows: You are using Windows XP with a Chrome Web Browserwith a Safari Web Browser now I know stristr() is a case-insensitive version of strstr(), which will find the first form of a word in a string. The problem is that when I use it, the rest of the script doesn't work... it goes to the part as if nothing is there, and shows the text on the bottom. I can't figure out why. Can someone help me, is there a chrome/safari level of priority or am I just missing something? I am testing the below JS code in various browsers and it works just fine on my Windows laptop running Firefox but INOP on IE (same laptop) and also from my Mack which runs Firefox and Safari. I'm on the latest versions of all browsers - can someone advise what would prevent the JS function from opening the new page in those browsers mentioned?
Note: I am not blocking JS nor popups - this just a test to see how the function works but now I'm curious as to what's really happening... thx!
Here's the code:

Within WP in Safari(unsupported plug in error pops up but I have deactivated all plugins) and Firefox, nothing shows up. This is the page: https://searchsoftball.com/search/
I can reproduce the problem in Chrome making one change but I do not know how to fix it. <?php $result = $con->query($sql); while($row = $result->fetch_assoc()){ ?> <tr> <td><?php echo $row['School'];?></td> <td><?php echo $row['City'];?></td> <td><?php echo $row['State'];?></td> <td><?php echo $row['Conference'];?></td> <td><?php echo $row['Division'];?></td> <td><?php echo '<a href="'.$row['Main'].'"target ="_blank">Main</a>';?></td> <td><?php echo '<a href="'.$row['Softball'].'"target ="_blank">Softball</a>';?></td> <td><?php echo '<a href="'.$row['Camp'].'"target ="_blank">Camp</a>';?></td> </tr> <?php <--- remove this
