PHP - How To Check If Two Alphabetical Variables Are The Same?

How do I present these documentaries like this:   0-9 10 Things You Need to Know About Sleep 20 Animals That Will Kill You   A Ant Kingdom Atkins Diet   B Battle of the Brains Body Talk   I don't even know where to start!   I'm not asking anyone to do this for me; I just need a push in the right direction.   Any help will be appreciated.

does anyone know how to decode this XML variable value into string values? I also need to know the oposite way: creating variable values into xml. I've tried several code examples but they did filter the requested data.

Hi. I have some code which needs to return a single variable from the function and stored as a variable within this page, so it can be echoed later on in the page. I couldn't get it to return as a variable, so i used "return compact();" to return the variable and "extract (myFunction());" to extract it to variables. However, when I turned on php's display errors and error reporting function, I got an error message saying "Warning: extract() [function.extract]: First argument should be an array in /my/web/site/index.php on line 6" (which is where my extract function is). This works fine with passing more than one variables through, is there another way pass one variable from a function to be stored as a variable on the page which called the function?

I have created a little voting script for my site. The insertion code into the MySQL databse when they vote is very simple:

Obviously I only want them to be able to vote once. What is the best way to do a check of the IPs already in the database and check against theirs before submitting?

Suppose i have a table with around 10 entries in which one column contains the id and the second column contains a checkbox...

If a checkbox a selected and the button (below the table) is pressed then i want to delete the columns corresponding the checked checkboxes....

I am not getting how sgould i pass the get variable on the link of the button???

I'm wanting to use PHP to check to see if a username and password match a remote RDP server. The reason I ask is because I want to verify that the information the user is giving is correct.

I'm looking though LDAP but I have no idea what I'm looking for.

To recap, I would like to login to a RDP server and return a result based on if it completed.

Hello. I'm working on a site which I'd prefer to use SVG for some of the images. However, since not all browsers support SVG, I'm going to set a global variable to true if I detect the browser supports SVG. Using this, I can check to see if SVG is supported and show PNG/gif/jpg images in the place of the SVG in older browsers (and add a small banner at the top prompting them to upgrade to a modern browser). I can already do this using javascript. But seeing as javascript can be disabled, newer browsers that can support SVG might not be fed those images (which are much smaller files).

The javascript I'm using to test SVG support is as follows

the php code I tried, seeing as how it would make sense, is the following

I need to use an if statement in conjunction with the browser name/type "Mozilla Firefox" vs "Google Chrome" to display certain scripts of CSS to a page.

I am not sure how to do this.
