I am following the tutorial below: http://www.adambate.com/how-to-add-a-flickr-based-photo-gallery-to-your-website-phpflickr-lightbox/ I am encountering errors when I introduce the code below. Not sure what is causing it. The flickr photo set is named 'AHY' . php and js <CODE> <script type="text/javascript" src="photos/lightbox2.05/js/prototype.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="photos/lightbox2.05/js/scriptaculous.js?load=effects,builder"></ script> <script type="text/javascript" src="photos/lightbox2.05/js/lightbox.js"></script> <?php require_once("photos/phpFlickr-3.1/phpFlickr.php"); $f = new phpFlickr("b16911dd0ec59f16ed66e80711edbdaf"); // API $user = "ahy4l@yahoo.com"; $ph_sets = $f->photosets_getList($user); ?> </CODE> <CODE> <!-- Photo Gallery --> <div id="gallery"> <?php foreach ($ph_sets['AHY'] as $ph_set): ?> <div class="photosets"> <p><h2><?php print $ph_set['title']; ?></h2></p> <?php $photoset_id = $ph_set['id']; $photos = $f->photosets_getPhotos($photoset_id); foreach ($photos['AHY']['photo'] as $photo): ?> <div class="photos"> <a rel="lightbox[]" href="<?= $f->buildPhotoURL($photo, 'medium') ?>" title="<?= $photo['title'] ?>"> <img src="<?= $f->buildPhotoURL($photo, 'square') ?>" alt="<?= $photo['title'] ?>" title="<?= $photo['title'] ?>" /> </a> </div> <?php endforeach; ?> </div> <?php endforeach; ?> </div> The CSS I use for this is: #gallery { position: relative; float: left; width: 600px; padding: 0px 15px 10px 15px; } .photos { position: relative; float: left; display: block; padding-bottom: 10px; } .photosets { clear: both; padding-top: 1px; } .photosets h2 { color: #000; } </CODE> Similar TutorialsHi all, i've set this script for my gallery, it works, it display me the name of the albums, but when i click to see the pictures inside, the page is blank, and also don't appear the "Back to the albums" link, i can't find the error in the code... I want to be able to add, edit, and delete Categories and Photos. It has the code to do it, but it doesn't give and examples. Can someone show me how to make them work? I really do not understand where to add them, if I need to make new pages, etc. Any insight would be great! This topic has been moved to Miscellaneous. http://www.phpfreaks.com/forums/index.php?topic=332275.0 I am trying to pull in the latest Flickr images from my account and using magpierss to parse the feed. I am successfully creating a ul list of the images using the code below, but I cannot see how to size the images, can anyone help. The $item['description']; line produces: Username posted a photo: FlickrImage <? require_once 'magpierss/rss_fetch.inc'; $url = ''; $rss = fetch_rss( $url ); echo '<ul>'; foreach ($rss->items as $item) { $href = $item['link']; $title = $item['title']; $img = $item['description']; echo "<li><a href=$href>" . $img . "</a></li>"; } echo "</ul>"; ?> hello dear php-experts, well today i have a question regarding the organizing photos in flickr -favs how to do that ? i have 1500 favorites. now i want to organize them into certain " subfolders " or directories question: is this possible? any ideas - i look forward note: i have seen that i am able to download all favs automatically _ great thing but that is another story. I'm having a problem understanding how to import more than one photo in a list of up to 20 photos. I can only import 1 photo from a comma delimited csv with a pipe between each photo url. <? function getImg($value,$userid, $stocknum){ $photoStr = ''; if($value !=''){ $photoURLs = explode('|', $value); for($i=0; $i<count($photoURLs);$i++){ $url = $photoURLs[$i]; $j = $i+1; if (@copy($url, "../upload/".$userid."/".$userid."_".$stocknum."_".$j.".jpg")) { $photoStr .= $userid."_".$stocknum."_".$j.".jpg|"; } } } return $photoStr; } ?> And after csv and sql <? if($img){ $img = rtrim($img, '|'); $imgArray = explode('|', $img); $imgIndex = 1; foreach ($imgArray AS $imgItem){ $db->query("UPDATE `stockitem` SET img".$imgIndex."= '$imgItem' where stocknum='$stocknum'","" , __FILE__, __LINE__); $imgIndex++; } } ?> Any help would be appreciated. Hi all, i was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction on how to create the following. After someone uploaded a photo than Cut out only his head in a fixed square say 90x120 pix (of a larger picture). I have seen some on the internet but most of them use flash and i rather use javascript or no javascript at all. Can this be done with GD library for instance where you just give the coordinates and the size of a square. (if this can be done automated i love to hear it) I have seen one where someone should pinpoint the eyes. IF someone has experience with this or a general idea on what techniques to use let me know I bet there are loads of way to do this but the most light weight technique would be great. Something like the attached image i am in the process of creating an auction site. However the images do not show , just the placeholder. Can anyone indicate where I have gone wrong ?
i am using this script to enter the items into the Database
html>
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="style.css">
if(isset($_GET["item"]))
if($_GET["item"]=="duplicate")
else if($_GET["item"]=="successful")
}
echo "<label for='item_name' class='label'>Item Name:</label>";
echo "</form>";
</body>
This script displays the items :
<html>
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="style.css">
<body> session_start();
if(!isset($_SESSION["username"]))
else
$DBHOST = "localhost";
while($row = $result->fetch_assoc())
$iid = $row["item_id"];
$conn->close();
I let my members to upload their photos, I m using the script I coded which checks the file extension, if the file extension is "jpg" ( if ($this->url['type'] == "image/jpg")) and less than 600kb it uploads. Otherwise it gives you a warning.. What I wonder is, do I face any unwanted results about this later ? Like someone uploads a virus or script then execute it and do something ? Hi guys, I have a question, I realised that when I type in my url, for example, www.abc.com, it will automatically lead to www.abc.com/index.php URL, I would like to remain the URL as www.abc.com. How do I achieve that? Thanks Wilson Hello to all. Please I need your help.
I have a web site (php, mysql, dreamweaver) with some seller info in a db table. They want to show a google map with their location of address, that have in the db. Let's say:
Field: Data:
tbAddress 22 Kastelliou street
tbPO 11141
tbLocal Athens
tbCountry Greece
I am try with these iframes that google has on site but this embed is ONLY for what i will find through the address bar. The dynamic web page I have, has the info of the seller (who, where, what) and I want this map dynamically change location, according to the address of the seller from the fields I provided.

what is the simple way to upload a photo to mysql or store in a dir, and update the database with the new url? G'day, on the home page of a website i'm building, i'm wanting to have a random photo that looks at all the subfolders of the gallery directory, but the best I can achieve is just one subfolder.
