PHP - Problem In Uploading .xml File With Not All Row Will Be Import To The Database

Hi All, I have been having issues for several days uploading a simple pdf file via Curl to one of our service providers servers.  I'm doing an is_uploaded_file check and getting a successful response, but the document is not actually being uploaded to the server. This is the way how I insert data into database according to header even it's not arranged same as the table column.
If the csv has only "cell,firstname,lastname,," (and my table has only these 3 columns as well)  then it still working...but if there are "cell,address,company,firstname,lastname" then it will show me unknown column error.

Actually I wish to have a function that even there are many columns in csv that not exist in the table it still can just pick the right column and insert into table.
Can anyone give me hints on how to change my script?I know there are many errors...it's really embarrassed to show my low standard script...

I have a PHP web system that store in a windows server. In the system, there is a function for user to upload files to another server (Shared server in Unix).

When i try to upload a file, it gives warning:

Warning: move_uploaded_file(\\unixserver/sharedfolder/upload/test.txt) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in C:\wamp\www\upload\index.php on line 40

For your information, my username has been assigned in xxx's group that has access to read and write on that folder. Besides, i'm able to open,create and delete files on that folder's server manually (samba).

The safe mode setting is off.

Hello, I am new to PHP and am trying to make a script that will ftp into the server via a cron of every hour or so and save the data to a mysql table. The first step is to draw variables out of information in the file via ftp. Its a ban list for a game server I run.

How could I get php to single out the ban reason, admin, etc.

I am looking for a way to upload a csv file to a website and have it populate a database.  Does anyone know of a way to do this.  The users of the site are novice website users and I am a novice php coder.

Hello, this script originally works by reading a physical copy of 'bans.txt' located in the same directory. How could I get it to read the remote bans.txt located here and parse info from it like the on-site copy?

I have a file in a mysql database and when I echo it shows all of the php code from the file in the database on the page when it is echoed. How can I fix this problem. I notice a lot of websites coded from php have things like ?go=register or ?page=login something like that. Could you guys tell me how to do things like that. Im pretty sure when people do things like ?go=register the register is the code of a file in a mysql database.

Anyway.....I'm building a web site  that requires i have  functionality to upload a tab delimited file (or some file format that is easiest) via php and insert the data into MYSQL. I've searched for many third party scripts but none seem to work. So I've decided to move to the community to see if someone can give me insight on how i might accomplish this script. I have some third party scripts but I'm not sure if they'd be of any use.

So have been working on a file upload script, it was uploading the file but also adding the path name instead of NULL to mysql when no image was to upload, that is now fixed however now it won't upload the actual image to the directory.  I tried undoing the mysql changes but it still won't upload the image to the directory.  Am testing on my own computer using xampp so no file permission issues, plus it was working before.  Any help much appreciated.

This script is supposed to run in the command line.

Like the title says, I need to:

Import some columns (input the names with an argument) from a .CSV file Split the column into blocks of 500 lines Translate this pieces Put them back into the original file

Any help in rewriting this to work? 

I need some help getting started in writing the php code that would import a text file of name/value pairs and then create an html table with those values.

The datafile looks something like this: [number]-[attribute]=[value];

I've looked around all day at various samples. I've seen the fgetcsv function. I'm not sure what would be the best approach to load this into data into a table. Using a regex, then load into array or hash and then print this out? I'm assuming i would have to create print statements to produce the html tags.

Also, with the sample records I provided. There will be instances where not all the attributes (1-7) have values.
So, i'm envisioning empty cells for that record which is fine.

I can also change the way the datafile is generated and remove the [number], so its just [attribute]=[value] if that makes it easier.

Is there a good mapping technique for this? Thank you for your help.

I want users to be allowed to upload images to a table in a database but I cannot seem to find a suitable way to implementing using the code I already have, here is the code below;

Everything else writes perfectly but I have been trying ways to create a file upload and write successfully to the database. The 'image' field has a data type of 'varchar'.

I apologise immensely for the long winded explanation but if anyone could help me please that would be much appreciated.
