PHP - Insert Data To Database Where Data From While Loop

I am trying to display data from mysql. Each row from the mysql database shows up under rows.

I want the rows of data from mysql  to appear in colums of 4.

can some one help please.

I have been trying to grab some data from an XML feed parse it and then insert it into a database. I will only need to do this on one occasion so no update or deletes.

I'm trying to create a javascript array which should be filled with data from a mysql database.
so what i wannt to do is to loop out a new array element for each row in my database.
I should also say that i'm working in a php file.

Hi,

I want to extract weather for 5 cities from www.wunderground.com/global/SB.html and put the field data such as colombo, temprature, humidity and conditions in to a mysql table so I can display the weather for this 5 cities and automatically set a cronjob to update it everyday. Issue is I am unable to extract the specific data from this page.

Now, I encountered that the Demanded Qty was get only is the last Demanded Qty and save it to all Items.

I want to happen is per Items will save the Demanded Qty.

So i have an event page where it will show the next 3 events, then i need logged in users to click either of two buttons to say there attending or not attending.

i have the below code showing events, and the <form> and the submit and both buttons, but if i submit 1 button on event ID: 1 it inserts data into the database but for event ID: 2, and if i click the button on event ID :2 it also puts it into database with eventid:2

so no matter which event i click it seems to submit data with the latest event ID shown on page, and not for "each" event seperatly.

i have moved the submit query everywhere around and still same results or duplicate results if its in the loop.

i assume its looping the submit and only submitting the latests event ID.

Hello to all,

I have problem figuring out how to properly display data fetched from MySQL database in a HTML table.

In the below example I am using two while loops, where the second one is nested inside first one, that check two different expressions fetching data from tables found in a MySQL database. The second expression compares the two tables IDs and after their match it displays the email of the account holder in each column in the HTML table.

The main problem is that the 'email' row is displayed properly while its while expression is not nested and alone(meaning the other data is omitted or commented out), but either nested or neighbored to the first while loop, it is displayed horizontally and the other data ('validity', 'valid_from', 'valid_to') is not displayed.'

Can someone help me on this, I guess the problem lies in the while loop?

Hi, I've currently started to modify a chat script of mine to output a moderation panel but the moderation page seems empty(blank) every time I load it. What im trying to do is to take the ID part in my URL via the $_GET and look it up in my database table in the column named id, then select that specific row to be able to retrieve the StringyChat_ip and place it into another table to ban the IP and the second thing im trying to do is to be able to delete the specific row from my table.   My Http link look something like    http://imagecrab.fre.../ban.php?id=159   and my ban.php page where I want to lookup the 159 part and do the banning etc looks like

In above code when $Title="Fire" or any single word, it inserts in database properly but when $Title="Terrist Attack" or any data more than one word it inserts only the first word "Terrist".

I have a form on our website that a user can fill out for custom product.  I want the form data to be 1) stored into a mysql database AND after storing said data, 2) email the same data to our sales department.

1)  The form data DOES get stored into mysql database (except for the first two fields, for some weird reason)

2) I added a "mail" section to the php file that stores the data into the database, but it is not working correctly.  I have stripped the email portion down to sending just one of the fields in the "message" to make it easier for troubleshooting

I have included here, both the form section of the html file, and the formdata.php file that processes the data for your  analysis.  I am relatively new to php so there are going to be some issues with security, but I can work on those after I get the store & email process to work correctly.  Please review my code and see if anyone can be of assistance.  I looked through the forums and couldn't find another issue that was the same as mine.  If I just overlooked, please tell me the thread post #.  Thanks

I have this form. The name of the field is an id of a row in a table. When the user inputs the information into the field, it goes to another page that processes the information. This is the code on the page that processes it:

But when I echo $value, it doesn't echo anything. I have made sure that there is a value in the field and if, instead of $_POST['$staffID'], I type a specific ID such as, $_POST['55485'], it will output the value entered in that field. I have not yet grasped the concept of arrays yet so that's why I'm not using one here. Can you just not put a variable in $_POST? Thanks.

Is there a way to send exploded data into a database without using multiple loops just to do so? My current code, but it only inserts the name value in the database as Array.
