Hello,
i am looking for a way to create a new folder when a customer uploads photos. I would like the folder to be named their email address. The photo uploader code is below: - [php <?php if($logged[scrollingpicturedisplay] == "yes"){ if($difference == "Gone"){ }else{ if($logged[spd_process] == "1"){ }else{ ?> <div id="spd"> <link href="/uploadify.css" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" /> <script type="text/javascript" src="/jquery-1.4.2.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="/swfobject.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="/jquery.uploadify.v2.1.4.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> $(function() { $('#custom_file_upload').uploadify({ 'uploader' : '/uploadify.swf', 'script' : 'uploadify.php?user=<?php echo("$logged[ip]");?>', 'cancelImg' : '/cancel.png', 'folder' : '/wuploads', 'multi' : true, 'auto' : true, 'fileExt' : '*.ZIP;*.zip;*.rar;*.jpg', 'queueID' : 'custom-queue', 'queueSizeLimit' : 1000, 'simUploadLimit' : 1000, 'removeCompleted': true, 'onSelectOnce' : function(event,data) { $('#status-message').text(data.filesSelected + ' files have been added to the queue.'); }, 'onAllComplete' : function(event,data) { $('#status-message').text(data.filesUploaded + ' files uploaded, ' + data.errors + ' errors.'); php/] and i think this is the code for the create new folder [php <? mkdir("/wuploads/{$slide['email']}"); ?> php/] The email is stored on the users database as the field 'email' i then would like it to put the photos in the created folder which i think is something like this [php 'folder' : '/wuploads/$slide['email']', php/] The pictures go into the correct folder if i use this, however the create folder part of it doesnt seem to work. any help would be great, thanks Similar TutorialsHi, How could I make a php script that creates a new folder (with the name as the date) every day automatically? Hi, ive recently created a gallery website and im happy with the way everything currently works. However the main drawback is the site uploads using a html webfom which is great for remote users or the odd image. However, as i want to mass upload my existing collection i will need the ability to read a selected folder and then to carry out all the same processes that existed from the existing html form upload. Im also using gdlibrary and checking file types to ensure they are within my allowed list, but im wondering if there are any other common security alerts i should be aware of to keep things a little bit safer if/when i publish outside of my LAN. So in a nut shell i need some assistance with changing my upload process to work for more than one file at a time, ideally by reading a folder, or at least reading X amount of files at a time - processing them then moving onto next batch of files in the list. Then the next part i need help with is checking/improving basic security of the system Code: [Select] <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" /> <title>Untitled Document</title> </head> <body> <?php $hostname='xxx'; $username='xxx'; $password='xxx'; $dbname='xxx; $usertable=xxx; $myconn=mysql_connect($hostname,$username, $password) OR DIE ('Unable to connect to database! Please try again later.'); if ((($_FILES["file"]["type"] =="image/gif") || ($_FILES["file"]["type"] =="image/jpeg") || ($_FILES["file"]["type"] == "image/png")) && ($_FILES["file"]["size"]< 200000)) { if ($_FILES["file"]["error"] >0) { echo "Return Code: " . $_FILES["file"]["error"] . "<br/>"; } else { if (file_exists("uploads/" . $_FILES["file"]["name"])) { echo "File already exists. Choose another name."; } else { move_uploaded_file($_FILES["file"]["tmp_name"],"uploads/" . $_FILES["file"]["name"]); } } } else { echo "Invalid file"; } $path="uploads/" . $_FILES["file"]["name"]; $desc=$_POST["desc"]; if (!myconn) { die ('Could not connect: ' . $mysql_error()); } $db_selected=mysql_select_db('xxx',$myconn); if (!$db_selected) { die ('Can\'t use xxxx : ' . mysql_error()); } mysql_query("INSERT INTO partners (desc,photopath,state) VALUES ('$desc','$path','$state')"); mysql_close($myconn); ?> </body> </html> I am working PHP project on localhost using wamp, for debug process we using error_log() function, every time error_log() stored details of the error in wamp/logs, how can I view my error in the same project folder like wamp/www/goodgoal/ eg: wamp/www/goodgoal/logs/error_log.log Note : Pls recommend PHP Quick Debug Tricks Edited July 5, 2019 by aveevaI am unsuccessfully able to do the following:
User creates an account
After login, checks server if user has their own folder created
If doesn't exist, create it
Copy files from source_code to this new folder
My code does create a folder, but no files appear inside it.
Been trying to find an example with google search for the past 3 days with no luck.
I am running LAMP on Linux Mint OS to run my PHP webpages.
Can anyone tell me if issues with this section of coding?

This upload code is used for uploading a video file from html page, after recording via html5 screen <video></video>, however, ther file doesn't arrive in the uploads/ folder:
<?php foreach (array('video', 'audio') as $type) { if (isset($_FILES["${type}-blob"])) { $fileName = $_POST["${type}-filename"]; $uploadDirectory = 'uploads/' .rand(5,500).$fileName; if (!move_uploaded_file($_FILES["${type}-blob"]["tmp_name"], $uploadDirectory)) { echo (" problem moving uploaded file"); } } } when uploaded from iPhone. So, I don't know how to see errors on iPhone. Folder permission is 755. php.ini max file size is 2024M, any ideas/solutions are appreciated.

My problem is that I can't get the upload function to put the file in the newly created directory. So here is the upload script. $foldername = $_POST['lastname']; // Desired folder structure $structure = 'files/'.$foldername.''; // To create the nested structure, the $recursive parameter // to mkdir() must be specified. if (!mkdir($structure, 0777, true)) { die('Failed to create folders...'); } $target = "files/"; $target = $target . basename( $_FILES['userfile']['name']) ; if(move_uploaded_file($_FILES['userfile']['tmp_name'], $target)) { echo "<center>The file ". basename( $_FILES['userfile']['name']). " has been uploaded.</center>"; } else { echo "No File was uploaded"; } So when I edited the target, it just changed the filename . What should I change in the code above to upload the file to the new directory? Thanks again, Sanchez I have looked around all overr, but cant find what im looking for. Everything I have found is about uploading multile files, what I need to do is upload one file and copy it so there is 3 files. Here is an example of what I need to accomplish. Upload file picture1.jpg From picture1.jpg create 3 files - smallimage_picture1.jpg, largeimage_picture1.jpg & smallimage_picture1_thumb.jpg Each file will need to be copied to a /products directory and also an entry for each file name placed in mysql database table. I don't think this is as simple as it sounds to do in PHP, but i am very willing to learn so if anyone knows of a good tutorial that get get me started that would be super. regards DB hello friends, while clicking the form all the information goes to database, I have one image upload field, when cliking the submit button, i would like 'image name' to go in database and file to go in /upload folder, i have tried this for hours and gave up, if anyone help me in this, i would be very greatful I got this script: But it give me error, file_get_contents cannot open stream. I need to add the FTP connection with user/pass paramaters. then look in set http url, to get the file contents(images) and transfer to ftp server location. Can Anyone take alook and tell me if I am going down the right path and how to get there. Please Code: [Select] function postToHost($host, $port, $path, $postdata = array(), $filedata = array()) { $data = ""; $boundary = "---------------------".substr(md5(rand(0,32000)),0,10); $fp = fsockopen($host, $port); fputs($fp, "POST $path HTTP/1.0\n"); fputs($fp, "Host: $host\n"); fputs($fp, "Content-type: multipart/form-data; boundary=".$boundary."\n"); // Ab dieser Stelle sammeln wir erstmal alle Daten in einem String // Sammeln der POST Daten foreach($postdata as $key => $val){ $data .= "--$boundary\n"; $data .= "Content-Disposition: form-data; name=\"".$key."\"\n\n".$val."\n"; } // Sammeln der FILE Daten if($filedata) { $data .= "--$boundary\n"; $data .= "Content-Disposition: form-data; name=\"".$filedata['name']."\"; filename=\"".$filedata['name']."\"\n"; $data .= "Content-Type: ".$filedata['type']."\n"; $data .= "Content-Transfer-Encoding: binary\n\n"; $data .= $filedata['data']."\n"; $data .= "--$boundary--\n"; } // Senden aller Informationen fputs($fp, "Content-length: ".strlen($data)."\n\n"); fputs($fp, $data); // Auslesen der Antwort while(!feof($fp)) { $res .= fread($fp, 1); } fclose($fp); return $res; } $postdata = array('var1'=>'today', 'var2'=>'yesterday'); $filedata = array( 'type' => 'image/png', 'data' => file_get_contents('http://xxx/tdr-images/images/mapping/dynamic/deals/spot_map') ); echo '<pre>'.postToHost ("localhost", 80, "/test3.php", $postdata, $filedata).'</pre>'; I want to copy everything in templates/blue to the folder code/ However: shell_exec("cp -r 'templates/blue' 'code'"); Creates a folder called blue inside code. I tried cp -r 'templates/blue/*' 'code', but that didn't do anything. Any ideas? Hi everyone, I have a page that i use to upload images to my website, i got a bit fed up of uploading one at a time so i decided to add multiple file fields to the form to upload multiple images at the same time. Im having a few problems, iv read up he http://www.php.net/manual/en/features.file-upload.multiple.php and it seems all i have to do is add [] to the form names to turn them into arrays. However when i come to upload the images, i keep getting the "$error[] = "Incorrect format!...." error from the code below. I cant seem to figure out what the problem is. Could anybody please point me in the right direction? <?php session_start(); $id = $_SESSION['id']; $connect = mysql_connect("localhost","leemp5_admin","p7031521"); mysql_select_db("leemp5_database"); $query = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM users WHERE id='$id'"); $row = mysql_fetch_assoc($query); $username = $row['username']; $submit = $_POST['submit']; $type = $_FILES['image']['type']; $size = $_FILES['image']['size']; $max_size = "1000"; $width = "100"; $height = "100"; $error = array(); function make_thumb($image_name,$filename,$new_width,$new_height) { $ext=getExtension($image_name); if(!strcmp("jpg",$ext) || !strcmp("jpeg",$ext)) $source_image=imagecreatefromjpeg($image_name); if(!strcmp("png",$ext)) $source_image=imagecreatefrompng($image_name); if(!strcmp("gif",$ext)) $source_image=imagecreatefromgif($image_name); $old_x=imageSX($source_image); $old_y=imageSY($source_image); $ratio1=$old_x/$new_width; $ratio2=$old_y/$new_height; if($ratio1>$ratio2) { $thumb_width=$new_width; $thumb_height=$old_y/$ratio1; } else { $thumb_height=$new_height; $thumb_width=$old_x/$ratio2; } $destination_image=ImageCreateTrueColor($thumb_width,$thumb_height); imagecopyresampled($destination_image,$source_image,0,0,0,0,$thumb_width,$thumb_height,$old_x,$old_y); if(!strcmp("jpg",$ext) || !strcmp("jpeg",$ext)) { imagejpeg($destination_image,$filename); } if(!strcmp("png",$ext)) { imagepng($destination_image,$filename); } if(!strcmp("gif",$ext)) { imagegif($destination_image,$filename); } imagedestroy($destination_image); imagedestroy($source_image); } function getExtension($str) { $i = strrpos($str,"."); if (!$i) { return ""; } $l = strlen($str) - $i; $ext = substr($str,$i+1,$l); return $ext; } if($submit) { $image=$_FILES['image']['name']; if ($image) { $filename = stripslashes($_FILES['image']['name']); $extension = getExtension($filename); $extension = strtolower($extension); if (($extension != "jpg") && ($extension != "jpeg") && ($extension != "png") && ($extension != "gif")) { $error[] = "Incorrect format! Anyone willing to share a good upload script that will do the following?: -Allow multiple image uploads (10+ per submission), -Re-size images on upload, and -Rename images. Thanks Brett Hello everyone, I am working on a form that is similar to a shopping cart system and I am thinking of creating a button that submits the checked value and saves them to a $_SESSION variable. And also a link that links to a cart.html that takes the values of a $_SESSION variable. I am have trouble figuring what tag/attribute should I use in order to achieve that.
Right now my code attached below submits the checked values to cart.html directly. However I want my submit button to save the checked box to a $_SESSION variable and STAY on the same page. And then I will implement a <a> to link to the cart.php.
I researched a little bit about this subject and I know it's somewhat related to ajax/jquery. I just wanted to know more about it from you guys. I appreciate your attention for reading the post and Thanks!
Below is the form that I currently have:
<form name= "finalForm" method="POST" action="cart.php"> <input type="Submit" name="finalSelected"/> <?php foreach($FinalName as $key => $item) {?> <tr> <td><input type="checkbox" name="fSelected[]" value="<?php echo htmlspecialchars($FinalID[$key])?>" /> <?php echo "$FinalID[$key] & $item";?> </td> </tr> <?php } ;?>Below is the code for cart.php <?php require ('connect_db.php'); if(isset($_POST['finalSelected'])) { if(!empty($_POST['fSelected'])) { $chosen = $_POST['fSelected']; foreach ($chosen as $item) echo "aID selected: $item </br>"; $delimit = implode(", ", $chosen); print_r($delimit); } } if(isset($delimit)) { $cartSQL = "SELECT * from article where aID in ($delimit)"; $cartQuery = mysqli_query($dbc, $cartSQL) or die (mysqli_error($dbc)); while($row = mysqli_fetch_array($cartQuery, MYSQLI_BOTH)) { $aTitle[] = $row[ 'name' ]; } } ?> <table> <?php if(isset($delimit)) { $c=0; foreach($aTitle as $item) {?> <tr> <td> <?php echo $aTitle[$c]; $c++;?> </td> </tr> <?php }}?> </table> |
