PHP - Access Denied For User ''@'localhost' To Database 'crystalair'
Hi everyone! I'm getting the error "Access denied for user ''@'localhost' to database 'crystalair'" (crystalair is the name of my database) whenever I submit my form which inserts a new row to the database table "order". The same happens when I try to retrieve data from the table using select query.
However, I can successfully perform operations (select, insert) in my other pages which involves another database table "user". If this is a connection error, how can I successfully perform operations with another table? Also, my connection query does not return an error. I have also checked to make sure my user has been granted "All Privileges" in the phpmyadmin. I've run out of ideas. Can you please help? Thanks a lot. Basically my script is connecting to a local database, running a single select query, returning those rows and building up a string from them. The problem is that I am receiving complete BS responses from PHP that the access is denied for the user being specified. The script worked fine on my localserver(wamp) but is showing this error when i try to update or insert a record ...select and delete is working fine.. Thanks Im developing a registration script and using godaddy as my host. Im getting "Access denied for user 'headstyle1'@'%' to database 'users'" when running the registration script. Is there some kind of permission I have to set? My dad loves these frozen cheeseburgers from meijer so I was gonna write a little script I can run in cron that will check Meijer's website and txt or email or something if they go on sale. Whenever I run the below script I get an Access Denied response from the server instead of the html for the cheesburger page. I'm sure I just need a CURL option or something. Thank You in Advance

Is there a reason why on my local machine with php, my login system works, but then when I upload my files and test it on my web host, the login system doesn't work properly. I'm using the same php version on my local machine and on my webhost, so I don't understand why it wouldn't work the same. When I try logging in on my webhost, everything processes as normal when a correct user/pass combo is found in the database, however, my session just doesn't seem to be saved, and therefore I won't be logged in. I am creating each page myself and uploading content specific to them which cannot be viewed by anyone else. So on install, I will provide a license that allows for 10 user accounts to be created.
If the client requires 50, a different license will be provided that allows 50.

What i want to do is that when the user who is logged in have administrator in the user_level field to see all the pages from backend, and the user who have in the user_level field editor to see only some of the pages from the backend such as newsletter, or messages.

Hi guys, I was just wondering if anyone could help me. I've got a My_SQL database containing articles, a summary for the article and a date. I have a basic CMS system set-up, but I want to create a script that when users sign up to a mail list it forwards the summary and dates of the articles database. If that makes sense? But I only want it to forward the most recent 5 rows. I'm pretty new to PHP and I've been mostly following tutorials thus far, but this is quite specific. Thanks in advance! |
