PHP - Select A Month Details From Mysql

Hello everyone, I am trying to have a function on my website where the administrator can add a new member to the database. Their details are to be stored in the table memberdetails, I have posted the code below, the error i recieve is "Error: Column count doesn't match value count at row 1"

hi,

i'm new in php/mysql. i'm stored student marks values in following format in mysql db table.


id student_code Tamil English Maths Science Social

But i want to search and display the specific student marks in following format.

please give correct code for this format.

Obviously when connecting to php Im not going to show all of my login details;

Ive seen some people using an include file with their login details on but say for eg.

I'm looking to try and echo the profits from a MySQL "totals" table for each month of the year... the table bascically consists of a "totals" column which contains the total amount spent on each order, a "suppliertotals" column which contains the total amount that it costs us to buy the goods for that order and an "orderdate" column which stores the order date as "d/m/y" (so 01/01/01).

To work out the total margin from the complete table, I calculate the sum of totals minus the sum of suppliertotals. This is our margin.

I'm currently doing the calculation with MySQL's sum() function, and using PHP explode to get the date, but I'm obviously doing something wrong since PHP is returning the same month several times with different amounts...

so im trying to setup a page for my bills that i pay monthly so me and my gf can access it remotely whenever we need to. we have a few loans that we are paying off in installment loans every month so i created a table like the picture below (which is actually in excel but it looks about the same).  i know how to pull via select and sum everything that i need but what i'm actually going for is this:

every month on those certain due dates i'd like for the monthly payment to be subtracted from the balance automatically..and it show the reflected balance. i'm not sure how to go about such a thing though as i've never worked with dates and times.  my logic is that i have to setup a beginning time stamp for it to work off of..and then every 30 days from that time stamp..subtract the payment.  then again, there's not always 30 days in a month and it'd get off track.  any ideas?

I have successfully implemented a master details page with the results aligned in columns linking to a details page.
I wish to maintain the recordID passed from the master details page and make the dynamic text, which reads
Shade
A tree that is capable of.....
in the attached screen shot a link to another details page referencing the same recordID.

The detailspage2.php would look the same as the screenshot except the Shade text and description below will be highlighted, which I can do, there will be a new image and a new image description.  All other dynmaic elements on the page will remain the same.

I tried to simply save as my detailspage.php to detailspage2.php and create a link to detailspage2.php. It linked to detailspage2.php but none of the record info showed up in their respective table cells.

I have all the names desc's, images, etc setup in a table in my database.

Please let me know what code and other info you need to help me out with this procedure.

I've searched long and hard accross the web for an answer to this and finnally given in and requesting help. Here's what i have, i have a database setup and working fine. What i would like to do is for an administrator to be able to update my users details. It may sound odd, why don't you let your users update their own details? Well the administrators are dispatchers if you like, and my users are the 'dispatchees', for want of a better word. So i would like my administrators to be able to dispatch my users with routes and my users be able to see the routes that have been dispatched to them. I've setup a login area and a page that pulls there routes off the database, depending on their login details, i.e. jack will see his routes and jill will see her's independantly. This works by me editing the appropriate columns/rows of my database using phpmyadmin. What i'd like now is for administrators (who are directed to a seperate page, with more controls) to be able to do the same as me (updating the database) but by using a php form/script.

I'd like to be able to select the routes from a second table on the same database if possible, to try and keep everything tidy. So my dispatcher would select Route001 from a drop down list, this would fill in the text fields next to the route field with From To, so my dispatcher would know what route001 actually is from/ too, choose a username (now being driven from my other table) and hit dispatch. My user would login to their area, hit view dispatched routes and it would display Route 001 with the correct information.

The login area was a downloaded script i modified to suit and is called Login-Redirect_v1.31_FULL

Im trying to work out how I can show entries from today, this week and this month so I can have a link that shows all posts from today or this month etc.

Any one know how I can do this ? My current piece of code that pulls the data from the db looks like this :

So I am creating a list of events.  There will be a drop down menu to change between months.  I only want the months to be listed if an event during that month exists.

So if I have events listed for September and November, list only September and November, skipping October.  Any idea on how to approach this or if there are any functions for such a thing?

I need help in getting the 3 Months Name from my table field FromMonth and ToMonth.
Here is the scenario.

First, I select FromMonth and ToMonth.
Ex.
FromMonth = 5
ToMonth = 7
So it means
FromMonth is May
ToMonth is July.

Now I save the MonthNumber to my database:

table- so_month
FromMonth = 5
ToMonth = 7

Now I need to get the between Months Name from FromMonth to ToMonth which are (May, June, July).

How does it possible?

Basically in the data base I may have 2,5,7 under the year 2011.

I want to get the numeric months into words for use in the text of the link.

The above is returning December even though the entry in the database is 5.

I have a MySQL database.  The table name is prodcat - it has 3 fields sku, category and codes.  Some of the categorys have multiple items in it which is seperated by /   for example:  Ceramics/Sale Items or just Ceramics   in the codes it looks like this:  ceramics,saleitems or just ceramics   Basically i want to loop through each sku in the prodcat table and every sku that is in ceramics I want it to echo an image.  And if that sku is in multiple categories it needs to show the image no matter what category you are in.  So if it is a ceramic item that is also on sale I want the image to appear in both those categories   I've tried this multiple ways and can get a partial result but can not get it completely the way I want it.  Basically I can get it to give me the result in one category but it won't give me the result in both categories.   Thanks for the help.
