Some of my variables may have characters such as "+", ":", spaces, etc. When I use GET, all "+" are converted to spaces. What is wrong? I'm trying to create a list that groups information by username. Only part of it is working. The first query ($get_item_sql) is grouping the information perfectly but the second query ($get_sold) is lumping the $item_price and $item_amount_due as one total for each one and outputting the same amounts into every username. I'm stuck on this and would appreciate your help. For example: Username item fees image fees item sales item price total due Jim 2 $0.40 $100.00 $3.00 $3.40 Kelly 5 $1.00 $100.00 $3.00 $4.00 This example shows the columns in red as being the problem where Kelly didn't sell anything so her "item sales" and "item price" should be $0.00 but is carrying Jim's totals into hers. After user press the search button, it will return the file which contain the settings the user wants. However i have encountered a problem, currently i am using if statement and && operator to search for file so if the file is missing a string whereby the preg_match function couldn't find it, it will not output the file if i check another setting. $value is a string.IF $value equals '00', it doesn't work why? It does not equal 0? I'm trying to check if a value equalis 1 or 0. LITERALLY the string has to be 1 or 0, if not I need to error out. Why is this so difficult? How does 2 zero's (00) = 0? Doesn't make sense. Especially when it's matching 2 STRINGs.. If it were a numeric value I could see PHP saying 00 might equal 0. I have a small bit of code that changes the background color of a table cell depending on the value. It works great if I call the script by itself as you can see from this link. http://www.mesquitew...lake-levels.php
But when I include it in on the page where I want to show it like so below, the background colors do not render color correctly as they as suppose to like from the link about, only the text color.

Other than the background colors not rendering correctly when included all else works fine. Is there something I am not doing correctly that is causing this? I am not even sure where the first place to start looking would be.
