PHP - Only Show Certain Columns And Column Data

I have a blog on my website and the blogs content is stored in a database. On my home page I have the two recent articles displayed on my home page but I have to change them manually so I add the recent article on the home page in the first column and the second most recent one in the next column so they are side by side. What I want to do is automatically display the blogs image and blog title from the database and display on the home page so I don't have to keep changing it manually

My current code looks like the following

i'm trying to echo out the results from a query onto a page, but rather than having them echo out as rows in a table, i want them to be displayed in columns, i.e. first column would have the first 10 results and the second column would have the next to. Any ideas on how i could do this?

at the moment i'm using this code to display my results

Got a task here which is displaying correctly (I believe).  I only have 3 data entries in the db right now.  Like I said (I think) the display of the code below yields the right layout but it repeats the first db entry over and over.

I got the display to work correctly like this:

I am trying to get this display result (so it is more eligable for the end user!)

Hello,

I have a script that processes data from a form, and then outputs data from a MySQL table based on which selections are made on the form.

What I'm trying to do is create columns showing data for each month depending on which months the user selects, and then a "Total" column at the end of that. The output first determines the "family" the results are in, then the ID the product is for the parent family, and then it outputs the data based on what ID is listed.

Unfortunately, I have no idea how to do this without nesting while loops inside other while loops which I know is bad for server performance - and yes this does take a long time to complete.  Here is some of my code for this to show what I'm doing wrong:

right now it displays the first column of the array as a header for each foreach loop then i've got the data displayed under each header and it has 4 columns or a number of my choosing with data displayed under the Table Headings. I am trying to make it display 4 or so columns but with the each group having a certain number of grouped table (data/header) in each column. a different amount for each column that i can choose

IF Possible i'd like the choice of being able to remove the headers eg. Z when there is no data in them.

When I print the value of Title column, it not displayed not more than 40 characters....
Where is the problem ???

I have some php code on view invoice and it's getting all the data I need to from three database tables but for some reason it's not getting the data for one specific column and unsure why

i'm doing my best to research this stuff guys, but I keep getting stuck.  My reporting is almost finished, but I'm stuck at the part of my code that's denoted by "//FOR EACH LOOP HERE?"  Can someone help?  in addition to this missing code I need, I also get the error "mysqli_num_rows() expects parameter 1 to be mysqli_resul".  But all these examples on the web use pretty much the same code like this.

I have data similar to below.  I am doing a MySQL query and doing a JOIN based on instructor name.  I am echoing classes and linking the instructor name to another page with their BIO.  All is working great, however I want to use the ID's for something else.  How do I differentiate the ID between the Instructors table and the Classes Table without changing the column name in the database?     For instance, I want to echo the Instructor ID and then echo the Classes ID, but they are both the same column name in the database and since they are joined, how will that work?     Instructors:   ID  |  Instructor    |  Title         |  Bio                                          | 1    |  Bob Smith  |  Chef       |  bob smith is a chef with...        | 2   |  Jane Doe    | Professor |  Jane doe is an instructor that... |   Classes:   ID  |  Instructor   |  Class Title      |  Class Description                                          | 4    |  Bob Smith  |  Baking      | this is a baking class where you learn....        | 5   |  Jane Doe    | Food Safety |  Food safety is very important... |

i am doing a little project but I get stuck on a problem. How do I show the content of my SQL database in PHP or HTML. I want it to show the title at the top, the text in the middle and maybe a price at the bottom. How do I do that?  I can't seem to find a tutorial which covers only that, and I don't have the time to search each tutorial for some usefull information right now. And a second thing I want is that it will show the database in one list on a specific webpage. So people can look trough the list and find the thing they want and than click on it so they awill get directed to that item from the database.
