Hello,

i'm trying to server-side validate input from POST to insert it into mysql if the requirements for the insert are met.

i was using jquery before but this isn't reliable at all, i want the data to get inserted into mysql only if the length is 19 chars and only if it starts with 3227580 the next 12 digits can be any number.

So basically: IF chars=19 and data=3227580* insert into mysql -- else show error

I'm getting the dreaded " Invalid parameter number: number of bound variables does not match number of tokens" error and I've looked at this for days.  Here is what my table looks like:

Here is my sql:

And lastly, here is how I am calling it:

I know my userid is valid and and the date is set above (I've echo'd these out to make sure).  Since the id is auto_increment, I do not put that in my sql (though I've tried that too), nor in my params (tried that too).  What am I missing?  I feel certain it is something small, but I have spent days checking commas, semi-colons and spelling.  Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong?

I need to sort variables in groups of up to 15 and put it in an array. For example:
$exstract['center_tabOpBody_0'] =5
$exstract['center_tabOpBody_1'] =6
$exstract['center_tabOpBody_2'] =8
$exstract['center_tabOpBody_3'] =1


Should yield:
ARRAY(
          = center_tabOpBody_1,center_tabOpBody_2,center_tabOpBody_3 // <-----15 [1] = center_tabOpBody_0 //<----5
)

Is there some simple function do do the "efficiency" sort?

Hello, I have problem durring binding update query. I can't find what is causing problem.

When I run function update I'm getting next error:Warning: mysqli_stmt::bind_param(): Number of variables doesn't match number of parameters in prepared statement   Can you help me to solve this problem ?

I need to display a number(the number is retrieved from the db) in the form input field such that only the last 4 digits is visbile, the remaining can be masked as * or X or whatever is applicable.

I know the last 4 can be obtained as follows:

But when i hit the submit button the form validates the input field and checks if the number is a valid number of a specific format.
Therefore when I click on the submit button then I should still be able to unmask the masked numbers or do something similar that would help me validate the whole number.

How in php using the preg_replace php function can i allow only the basic english a-z letters, numbers 0-9 and unicode code letters and remove anything else?

I have a script coded in PHP and alot of JavaScript and I have problems with

languages like Arabic and Hebrew ( non Latin characters) ..

It is showed as question marks in the website like this ( ?????????) and in the database ..

I converted the SQL Database from Latin Swedish to UTF-8 in phpmyadmin and now the database is correct but the website is still in question marks .

In every HTML code you can see this :

........... content="text/html; charset=utf-8"/>

and I tried changing the same php pages to UTF-8 using text editors but nothing happened .

any help will be great. thanks.

Would someone tell me how to allow foreign letters, normal english letters and numbers using the preg_replace php function?

Does anyone knows if FPDF supports Norwegian letters or not? When I write codes of letters it is not showing letter. Are there any command to specify charset?
For example in this code is it possible to specify charset?

My script forces all names to start with a capital and lower case for the rest.  However, some names have a ' or - in them.

For example:

Rosie O'Donnell

or

Carrie-Anne Moss

With the script, the "D" in O'Donnell is lower case and the "A" in Anne is lower case.

What do I need to do to make them capital?
