PHP - Creating An Image In Php: I Need Larger Text!

Been just trying to test out some basic code that utilizes gd.  In Chrome i receive a blank page.  In firefox I get "The image "image.php" cannot be displayed because it contains errors".  There is no whitespace before or after the php tags, which seems to cause this error sometimes.

I looked at other common causes.  gd2 is un-commented in php.ini.

Hi group,

  I need to create a string to be used by base64_encode to build an SVG file. The source for the string is an image I built in memory. Code: [Select]

Other stuff, draw circles, test, ect.
I currently write it out to disk with: Code: [Select]
imagepng( $img, "$Name.png" );

Then read it back in and process it to create an SVG file.

I would like to avoid writing it to disk, so how can I create a string for base64_encode from an in memory image??

When I upload files > 2MB, I get an "Internal Server Error" and in the errors log see "Premature end of script headers:..."  No problem with smaller files. 

I'm running PHP 5.28 and have the following in php5.ini.

I have a website here [redacted] and it is an affiliate website where I just find products and promote them. All I have to do is give product a title, affiliate url, the description, an image and a price. I am trying to make the product description area hold more text than it does now, because at the moment in the admin side of my website it says "product description 275 max characters" That is really a short sentence. Can anyone please help me I have no php skills but really wish I did, if you need more info I will be happy to share anything I need to.

Hi, I created the code below for uploading anywhere from 1-15 PDF files at once. Originally I was hitting 8M limit and (as per my research) I asked my server admin to expand the post_max_size to 100M. Now he did and I verified it, but somehow now I can not upload more than cca 2MB files. What could be causing that? Thanks

What I'm trying to do is have users upload their event information into a database which would include a flyer.  I don't want the image file to go into the database (other than the filename) rather I'd like it to be dropped into a directory.  In the same script I'd like to dynamically generate a thumbnail.  I have the two scripts and separately they work fine, but I can't get them to work together.

I'm guessing the conflict because the thumbnail script is using $_POST and the mysql script is using $_SESSION.  If so how can I modify them to both use $_SESSION?

The thumbnail script is goes from line 1 - 146 and the mysql portion is the rest.

Stumped!  I have a client who has a form where they upload files to their server: title, two password fields, and the file They have been unable to upload anything over 10m   Small (under 10mb) files work. I would like to create a banner that gets two variables
$one and $two.
Then write them both onto my 468 by 60 image for examples sake "image.jpg"
