PHP - Changing Field Name When Mysql Information Is Dumped Into A Csv
Hi,
I have a script that dumps the information from one of my MySQL tables into a CSV. The script works great, but in the result, the names of the MySQL columns are shown as-is. In other words, I have a column named "field4" that shows up as "field4" in the CSV. How can I modify the columns to more descriptive names without modifying the database itself? Similar TutorialsHi: I'm going crazy trying to do the following: I'm making a job registration process where the user registers on one php page to the website, must acknowlege and email receipt using an activate php page, then is directed to upload their C.V. (resume) based on the email address they enter in the active page output. I then run an upload page to store the resume in teh MySQL db based on the users email address in the same record. If I isolate the process of the user registering to the db, it works perfectly. If I isolate the file upload process into the db, it works perfect. I simply cannot upload teh file to the existing record based on teh email form field matching the user_email field in the db. With the processes together, teh user is activated, but teh file is not uploaded. Maybe I've simply been at this too long today, but am compeled to get through it by end day. If anyone can help sugest a better way or help me fix this, I will soo greatly appreciate it. The note information will be information for the whole truck not by order. The check box will let them know that the truck is ready to have paper work printed. Hi guys, first and foremost I’m not a programmer, but I do have a little problem that I need help with. I have a website and there is a members registration form, within this form there is a Telephone field.
The telephone field requires a certain format e.g. 138 xxxxxxxxx, I would like your help on how to change the format, so that I can input random numbers.
where and how should I be editing this field to achieve the required result?

Hi there, I was wondering if it was possible to change a forms action field with PHP. Basically, if there are several checkboxes for the user to select and a specific checkbox was selected, how would I redirect users to an alternative webpage on submit? What I am trying to do is have a checkbox next to each user (row) that when I check them and hit submit at the bottom, it will change the value of each row on the 'Closed' column to 'y' so it will not be displayed when the page is refreshed. I want to be able to select multiple items to "close". And I would like it to come back to this page. I think I can use this page as the form action and have the code above my while loop to change the Closed column so it then would not be displayed when the while loop is called... is that right? Been trying to make it that when I insert into Mysql at the moment it inserts like dd-mm-yy, however cause I'm in the UK i need it to do it in the UK way of dd-mm-yy I checked out some topics and found the STR_DATE_DATE however I've tried to use it in my mysql but cannot get it to work. I have done some research online about changing from mysql to mysqli but the changes I made seems to only cause issues with connecting to the database.
After many hours of changing the existing file using the research online, I've decided to start again and ask others if they would be ever so kind to help this noob out and point out which parts of the script needs to be changed.

Hey guys. Me again... Essentially what i am doing is pulling data from a MySQL database about the number of thumbnails on a page. The user can then change this using a <select> dropdown menu. How ever, i want the <select> to default to the amount already specified by the Database. I know i can do this by inserting a Selected attribute to one of the <options> but what is the best way of doing this? Help! I have a mysql field that I want to store a php variable in and then retrieve it.
Example:
Color table has the field named colorBackground with the value of #FF0000
CSS table has the field named cssBackground with the value of .background { background-color: #444444; }
What I want to do is make Color/colorBackground a variable {{$backgroundcolor = rsColor['colorBackground']
Then I want to change the CSS/cssBackground value to .background { background-color:$backgroundcolor; }
Creating the $backgroundcolor works fine. I'm just not sure how to put the $backgroundcolor in my CSS/cssBackground field.
In my mysql database i have a field that records peoples details one part of the details is their county/region they live in. It records the county in a normal varchar field however i need a simple php script that searching the database and finds the most common county so i can then return to the screen where the most popular region for my members.
