PHP - Auto Refresh After (x) Seconds?
I think I'm seriously missing some small thing to get this code to just auto refresh after (x) seconds or after video completes fully. This is for users to watch from a database of other users that submitted url's - right now all I could put a skip button to auto-refresh. If anyone can help or at least point me into the right direction on some snippets I can kind-of work off of.

Currently, the auto-refresh jQuery script as you can see if getting and fading in/out all of the rows. Off of the above getrows.php script, is there a way after I could get only the newly created rows since the last refresh and only fade those in and out while leaving the others already loaded by the auto-refresh script to not fade in/out? Hi all, I am having some trouble with a part of code. Basically the code is set for a Factory to produce 750 items every 30 minutes. It does this fine IF AND ONLY IF someone clicks the Factory page. For example, it produces 750 bullets, then I leave the page alone for say 20 minutes, but when I click back, it doesn't have 10 minutes left before the next produce. Instead, It has 30 minutes. So it only produces when someone on the game clicks the page. I have tried the basic html refresh but that doesn't work. Any idea's? I have been doing a little research on sitemaps but haven't found much in the way of a tutorial or white paper or similar, anyway I was wondering if I am on the right track or not. What I was thinking for the auto-updating sitemap is since site maps are XML, when an article is published using my custom CMS/Blogging system, I make it rewrite the sitemap appending the new URL that will be generated. Then for the auto-submit, I can either make it a cron job or just manual press, but it would go though a for list of URLs, replacing the end part with my site map url. I think that is how it would be done. If you have a better idea, or can point out an article so I can understand a lot more with sitemaps, I will appreciate it, I am trying to learn as much as possible, I have gone to the offical website (sitemaps.org) but it doesn't have what I am looking for. Hello, I'm working on a simple project so bear with me, I have a variable called 'wood' on my SQL database, and I want to somehow increase the 'wood' value (int) every 5 seconds... Even when the user is not currently view that page. So what I'm thinking is saving the current mktime() to my database once - for sake of argument, this is going to be called 'time_cache', as well as the wood(int) variable. Then, when the user logs in to see how much wood there is, the PHP will, take the mktime() and subtract the 'cache_time' to see how many seconds have passed... Now I want to increase the wood int by 1 every 5 seconds that have passed. So I guess I need to do a division such as $seconds_passed = (mktime() - $time_cache) / 5. Which will give me the amount of 5 seconds that have passed, right? Then, surely my $wood will just equal $seconds_passed? I'm not sure if this is the best way to do something like this? Have started to program my own cricket management game and wish to have the database update every 60 seconds; this is to facilitate players who are not watching the actual game.
