PHP - Keep Textarea Data When Reloading Form
I have a form where people have to fill in some fields and send an email. When there is an error the user has to go back to the form with:

For it to change the value for the user they need to log out and back in, destroying the original session and recreating a new one on that account. Is there a way to have it always getting the data I need from the database while they're logged in? Because I don't want it to only get the orignial data in case they change a setting so they don't have to log out and then back in to change the setting. The data DOES change in the database, but the two div's won't display the new data until it is refreshed again. Do I need to reactivate fetch to get the new data? Hello, I have links at above of the page. if i click a link a new page will appear. The menu links above are same for all pages. Which is better reloading the whole page with all menu links or keeping the above menu link permanent/unchange reloading bottom division with ajax? I've been on a problem a few hours now and I've managed to finally find the solution however I feel it's very inefficient and am looking for a way to do this in a better way. I have a textarea where each line is inserted into MySQL database table "lines" and I have the columns "line_number" and "row". The textarea initial value on page load is simply a list of all lines ordered by line_number in ASC order. If I modify/add/remove entries from the textarea it will remove data changed and add new data accordingly. But I am making a lot of queries to do this and I'm not sure if there is a more efficient way than querying each line in the database to find the new value/modified value. So basically what I'm asking is, am I doing this the right way? I am very stuck and am not making much progress on this project, and I am certain the answer is very simple. I am constructing a form to collect data for a specialized purpose. The form and program actually work for its intended function, but I am trying to enhance the user experience by preventing customers from having to reenter all of their data should there be a problem with any of the data submitted. I have been able to do that with the contact form portion, but what I am having trouble with is the portion which has as many as 400 possible entries. So, in a nutshell, if the customers contact data is incomplete or in error, the form will ask them to return to the page and correct things. They already entered their data and I feel there is a way to grab it and post it to mysql even though they do not click submit.
How would this be done?

However, when a mistake in the form occurs, all the data the user has entered are disappeared! I want the data to keep appearing so that the user does not start over again to fill the form.
