PHP - Formatting Timestamp As Uk Date Gives Today's Date Only

still shows all records in the database... any idea how i go about this?

I have a table field that has the full timestamp (date and time), I want to select records from DB but after checking the date part only from the timestamp.

Example:

2020-3-10 10:15:00 ---- i want to check if current date is equal to the date part which in this case it is the same.

I have a little problem with creating a timestamp and display it again with date ()

In my world would result in 6-7-1985
but instead I get 06-11-2010

I want to convert a unix time stamp to the date format (dd/mm/yy). How can i be possible ?

I'm having a weird issue going on, I'm wondering if it has to do with my php.ini or server setup, anyway here is the code with the odly outcomes:

Following on from my problem with another Google Chart which jay0316 kindly helped with, I have another issue which I am hoping that someone might be able to help me with.   I am trying to put together a site for my wife to manage her diabetes and insulin intake. We want to monitor her blood/sugar glucose over periods of time (but with notes that she includes that can help monitor reasons for outlying results such as illness), so I am trying to include a Google Annotation Chart to do this, drawing on blood/glucose readings stored in a Database.   Where I am struggling at the moment is converting timestamps into information that I can include in the chart.   What I currently have at the moment (which obviously isn't working) is:

I have a simple mysql database holding information about an image upload including its 'name' and 'date uploaded' [current_timestamp()] to a folder 'image'

I then display it into a table using the php ‘foreach’ facility.

I want the date to be displayed in the ‘dd/mm/yyyy’ format.  not the default yyyy/mm/dd.

When I do this the result is a date of zeros?

$DateAndTime = date('d-m-y', strtotime($DateAndTime));

All I want is a date in format of DD0MM-YYY and the Time in HH:MM::SS

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.  I have a date in a table which is formatted as:
2010-08-13 00:00:00.

I am trying to change the date through PHP to display as 08-13-2010.  The date is being formatted as 12-31-1969.

Here's my code.

I'm going round in circles with this one, but I have a feeling that the answer is obvious.  I have POST information that I want to use as a date and display it using date format, but I don't know how to

The POST data outputs the following: 2011-9-23

Assuming I have defined $date as the posted data from the previous form, how do I write some code to tell it to output it as September 23, 2011, or just Sept 2011?

Having used unix timestamps in the past formatting the date used to be easy. But since converting to mysql DATETIME im struggling to format it properly. I basically pull the date from the database, convert it using strtotime(), then convert it to a date using date(). The problem is that when i use 'a' to display am/pm the time almost always says am. If the time is 11am then it will display 11am. If it's 12pm then it will display 12pm, but if it comes to 1pm and above it will revert back to 1am.

This is the date string I use:


date('jS M Y g:i a');


is this due to the fact that mysql DATETIME uses 24 hour clock ('H'), if so is there a way around this?

I have selected datetime values from a MySQL database (originally stored with the NOW() method) and want to present them on a page formatted in a specific way. I succeded in making it work with the following php code:

$time = date('d/m Y H:i', strtotime($row['time']));
echo $time;

I am however unsure if this is the best way to do it? I noticed some comments at php.net stating that this method has some limitations due to UNIX time. I am confused. There seem to be many ways of formatting date and time. Maybe somebody can clarify the situation, and tell me what will be appropriate in the current situation?
