PHP - Help Needed Inserting Blobs Via Odbc In Oracle Database
Hey guys,
I`m having problems finding information on how to insert a image on a blob column trough odbc on a oracle database. Does anyone knows where can i find it, or can anyone help me with sample code? I really need to use odbc functions (cant use oci8 ) Tanks for your time reading this and for the possible input you may add on this. Uploading is no problem, but downloading either gives me the blobfield as text back in my browser or tries to download is as download.php (which file is empty). I have pear mail installed and can get this to send out emails with attachments form a file share no problems. Getting it to work with blobs escapes me though. I'm having a problem that I've been tearing my hair out over for way too long. I'm hoping that some of you may be able to help me or at least point me in the right direction. I'm using MySQL 5.0.91 (via PHPmyAdmin from GoDaddy). This query should basically grab the data from the Facebook API and insert it into the database. It's not doing that. After inserting the data, it queries the database, and redirects the user to their profile page (USERNAME.php). Because there is no data in the database for that user, it has no idea what their username is, so it redirects them to ".php"....yes, that is "[dot]php". I'm not entirely sure how to debug this either. I've tried a few var_dump()'s with not much luck. Is there a specific order in which this stuff needs to be in? Maybe that's the problem, so I'm also including a screenshot from PHPmyAdmin of the database table. This works fine, but then when I press a button in my UI, I need it to add a new row into the same database. I am having issues when attempting to submit a quantity (into table orders) using a form and validating it against an existing value (from table products), giving a response on whether there is sufficient quantity in the second table. I am then, in another page (same one performing the validations), attempting to then show a result based on the initial quantity entered, with a summary of the order details and calculation of the quantity * price to display a total as well. This has all been built from scratch, however I may have taken the wrong approach for these two pages... any assistance or insight as to where I am going wrong would be greatly appreciated. I have a script that is attempting to display information in a MySQL database by month fields that are chosen by the user. For instance, they can choose for the start date to start in January, and pick the end date which in this example will be April. The script then puts the required field that match the specific dates into a column for each month. For the most part it outputs fine as: Jan: 15, Feb: 14, Mar: 9, Apr: 2. However, sometimes there is nothing in the database for certain months. This causes the script to display wrong so instead I get: Jan 3, Feb: , Mar: , Apr: . In the above example, the Jan: 3 might be wrong, because the field might have been for Mar instead. I need it to display like this when there is no fields in the database: Jan: 0, Feb: 0, Mar: 3, Apr: 0. How would I go about doing this? I am setting up a PHP & MySql shopping cart. When a user adds products they are stored as sessions. The cart displays the products in an array: foreach($_SESSION as $product => $quantity) So the product is the product_id, and the quantity is the quantity of that product which has been added. When getting the information from the database to display it, it reads like this 1-----2 (product_id = 1, quantity = 2) 2-----1 (product_id = 2, quantity = 1) 3-----3 (product_id = 3, quantity = 3) 11---12 (product_id = 11, quantity = 12) 4-----1 (product_id = 4, quantity = 1) I'm basically trying to insert the product_id and quantity into a table called cart. I've been stuck for days and can still only manage to insert 1 row of values Searching around I saw that some people inserted arrays using implode or explode functions first, but I'm not sure how that would work in this case Any ideas? |
