PHP - Is There A Way I Could Run A Php Script To Check For Pages Indexed In Google?
Not sure if this is possible, but..
As most of you likely know, if a person searches Google, they can see how many webpages are indexed by using: site:techcrunch.com Is there any way that I could do this via a php script for 10 different sites and then have the results emailed to me on a daily basis? I'm not asking for a coded solution.. just an idea on how this might be achieved, if it could? Thanks. Similar TutorialsI made a website for school where everyone can upload their summaries, download them and rate them (thumbs up, thumbs down). You upload a summary with some data: a specific class, subject, name etc. The path to the file, the name, subject etc. comes in a mysql table and the summaries show in a list on the site. Now here comes the problem, when you vote a summary up you go to the page up.php like this: Code: [Select] <!--Directing to up.php--> --some mysql-- while ( $summary = mysql_fetch_assoc($result) ) { echo "<a href=\"up.php?id=".$summary['id']."&page=".$summary['class'].$summary['period']."\">"; } On the page up.php I have the following code which adds +1 in the thumbsup row in myqsl: Code: [Select] <!-- thumbsup +1 --> --some mysql-- $sql2 = "UPDATE locatie SET thumbsup = thumbsup + '1' WHERE id='".strval($_GET['id'])."'"; $uitvoeren2 = mysql_query($sql2); and sends you back to the previous page Code: [Select] header("Location: ".$_GET['page'].".php"); Google crawls all my pages, and also the page Code: [Select] up.php?id=1&page=class1periode3, which changes my mysql. Leading to that all of the summaries are being voted on by google, which is every annoying. This probably isn't the best voting script but I'm fairly new to php and thought this up on my own, so I was wondering if I could get it working properly Thanks in advance Hello, I found some little php code to check google index of any site. Code: [Select] <?php function checkSite($www) { $ch = curl_init('http://www.google.pl/search?hl=pl&q=site%3A'.trim($www).'&btnG=Szukaj&source=hp'); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1); $sHtml = curl_exec($ch); preg_match('#\<div id=resultStats\>.*([0-9,]+) wynik#Ui', $sHtml, $aMatches); curl_close($ch); return (int)str_replace(',', '', $aMatches[1]); } echo checkSite('domain.com'); ?> But to check any site I must edit this code and add new site manually. I'm big beginner in PHP. I want to have a area on browser side to add many sites, and receive result, like in this code which I add. above. Can anybody help me with this? PS. Sorry for my poor English. This topic has been moved to Other Libraries and Frameworks. http://www.phpfreaks.com/forums/index.php?topic=306254.0 Hi,I'm hoping someone can help me:). When I add foreign keys to the database in MySQL I CAN change the primary key field and the corresponding indexed field will automatically change giving me the same value which is exactly what i want. The issue is when I try to insert the values using my php code i get the 'cannot update child error'. I have not selected a value for the unique_id field as I want it to inherit the value from the primary key. Here's my code as simplified as I could do it. <?php //this calls the class productupload and instantiates the function insert_form to insert values into the db. $product = new productUpload(); $product->insert_form();?> //This calls the insert_form function and inserts info into tables <?php class productUpload extends DatabaseObject{ protected static $table_name="itm_details"; protected static $db_fields =array('id','unique_id','itm_cat','itm_make','itm_model','itm_desc','itm_cond','itm_date_from','itm_date_to','itm_add_date'); public $id; public $unique_id; public $itm_cat; public $itm_make; public $itm_model; public $itm_desc; public $itm_cond; public $itm_date_from; public $itm_date_to; public $itm_add_date; Heres the function insert_form which grabs the form submitted data. Note I have not defined a value for $unique_id public function insert_form(){ global $database; //set the object attributes to the form the parameters if(isset($_POST['submit'])) { $result = array( $this->itm_cat =(!empty($_POST['itm_cat'])) ? trim($_POST['itm_cat']) : NULL, $this->itm_make =(!empty($_POST['itm_make'])) ? trim($_POST['itm_make']) : NULL, $this->itm_model = (!empty($_POST['itm_model'])) ? trim($_POST['itm_model']) : NULL, $this->itm_desc =(!empty($_POST['itm_desc'])) ? trim($_POST['itm_desc']) : NULL, $this->itm_cond =(!empty($_POST['itm_cond'])) ? trim($_POST['itm_cond']) : NULL, $this->itm_date_from =(!empty($_POST['itm_date_from'])) ? trim($_POST['itm_date_from']) : NULL, $this->itm_date_to =(!empty($_POST['itm_date_to'])) ? trim($_POST['itm_date_to']) : NULL, $this->itm_add_date = date("Y-m-d H:m:s")); //check date is numeric //if(is_numeric($_POST['itm_date_from'])) { //$this->itm_date_from = $_POST['itm_date_from']; //} //check date is numeric //if(is_numeric($_POST['itm_date_to'])) { //$this->itm_date_to = $_POST['itm_date_to']; //} if($result){ $result = $this->create(); } } } //here's the create function referred to above which sanitises the posted data and inserts it into the db. public function create() { global $database; $attributes = $this->sanitised_attributes(); $sql = "INSERT INTO ".self::$table_name."("; $sql .= join(", ", array_keys($attributes)); $sql .= ") VALUES ('"; $sql .= join("', '", array_values($attributes)); $sql .= "')"; if($database->query($sql)) { $this->id = $database->insert_id(); return true; } else { return false; } } I read something for Google Search Keyword suggestion at this post: http://www.phpfreaks.com/forums/index.php?topic=331591.0 How do I get something similar but for Google Images keyword suggestion: http://www.google.com/imghp?hl=en&tab=wi? What URL/API should I replace with this http://clients1.google.com/complete/search?hl=en&q='.$keyword Hi
I am trying to create a google chart from data in query.php and using the google api to load it. Everything works until I want to change the MetalSourceID from a drop select box.
PHP CODE FOR DROP DOWN BOX:
<form> <select name="users" onchange="showUser(this.value);drawChart();"> <option value=""> Select a Metal: </option> <?php $query = "SELECT TOP(31) tblMetalPrice.MetalSourceID, tblMetalSource.MetalSourceName from tblMetalPrice INNER JOIN tblMetalSource ON tblMetalPrice.MetalSourceID=tblMetalSource.MetalSourceID ORDER BY tblMetalPrice.DateCreated DESC "; $result = sqlsrv_query( $conn, $query); while( $row = sqlsrv_fetch_object ($result)) { echo "<option value='".$row->MetalSourceID ."'>". $row->MetalSourceName ."</option>"; } sqlsrv_close( $conn); ?> </select> </form>This works fine and generates all the correct values. One part of this changes contents of a table which works fine. But I also echo the MetalSourceID into the javascript for the google api, JS script below: <script type="text/javascript"> google.load('visualization', '1', {'packages':['corechart']}); google.setOnLoadCallback(drawChart); function drawChart() { var jsonData = $.ajax({ url: "query.php", dataType:"json", async: false, data: { 'MetalSourceID' : <?php $q = intval($_GET['q']); echo $q; ?> } }).responseText; var data = new google.visualization.DataTable(jsonData); var chart = new google.visualization.LineChart(document.getElementById('chart_div')); chart.draw(data); } </script>This then runs the query.php script and returns the google line chart, a copy of the query.php script is below: I would like to create a script to check wether a user has made a payment to access a members only area of my site, much like a check-login script that checks if the user has logged in, i need it do do a similar check only its not looking to see if the user is logged in but if they have ever paid and if not; send them to the payments page before the access is granted... What section(s) if any, do i need to modify from this check-login script to change it to check for their payments? Code: [Select] <?php ob_start(); // Connect to server and select databse. mysql_connect("$host", "$username", "$password")or die("cannot connect"); mysql_select_db("$db_name")or die("cannot select DB"); // Define $myusername and $mypassword $myusername=$_POST['myusername']; $mypassword=$_POST['mypassword']; // To protect MySQL injection (more detail about MySQL injection) $myusername = stripslashes($myusername); $mypassword = stripslashes($mypassword); $myusername = mysql_real_escape_string($myusername); $mypassword = mysql_real_escape_string($mypassword); $sql="SELECT * FROM $tbl_name WHERE username='$myusername' and password='$mypassword'"; $result=mysql_query($sql); // Mysql_num_row is counting table row $count=mysql_num_rows($result); // If result matched $myusername and $mypassword, table row must be 1 row if($count==1){ // Register $myusername, $mypassword and redirect to file "login_success.php" session_register("myusername"); session_register("mypassword"); header("location:login_success.php"); } else { echo "Wrong Username or Password"; } ob_end_flush(); ?> Hello, I made a server statuc checking script that checks the status of a game server. It works fine on my computer, but when I upload it to my web host it stops working. I'm assuming my web host is blocking it in some way. My host is Yahoo Small Businesses. Does anyone know if they block this kind of thing, or if there is a way to unblock it? Perhaps editing the code? Here is my code, if that helps. Code: [Select] <?php function GetServerStatus($site, $port) { $status = array("OFFLINE", "ONLINE"); $fp = @fsockopen($site, $port, $errno, $errstr, 2); if(!$fp) { return $status[0]; } else { return $status[1]; } } $Redemption = GetServerStatus("174.142.118.233", 11661); $RedemptionPossible = GetServerStatus("174.142.118.234", 51665); $Tranquility = GetServerStatus("174.142.118.234", 11601); $TranquilityPossible = GetServerStatus("174.142.118.234", 51665); $Nemesis = GetServerStatus("174.142.118.241", 11601); $NemesisPossible = GetServerStatus("174.142.118.241", 64721); $OverallServer = GetServerStatus("174.142.118.237", 11093); $CodServer = GetServerStatus("8.9.6.122", 4230); echo($CodServer . "<br />"); ?> I wrote this basic script yesterday to process and generate a Google Site Map. And it works! BUT I want to advance this script to accommodate for something else and I don't know the correct path to take from here, but I will tell you what I've found out so far.. Current Situation: 1 - Currently my below script generates urls in the site map like: http://abcdefg.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=29826 2 - I have .htaccess configured to rewrite the urls to the products name data like: http://abcdefg.com/pennies/wheat-pennies/lincoln-wheat-penny-cent.html (just an example) and these urls are ONLY active if clicking on the site links themselves - meaning if I enter: http://abcdefg.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=29826 directly into the url, the url does not resolve to this natural friendly url name. What Id like to achieve (which I don't know what direction I should be looking!): - I'd like my xml output urls (as current) to be written in the natural format (as in #2 above). FYI here is a current example output item in my sitemap: Code: [Select] <url> <loc>http://abcdefg.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=29803</loc> <changefreq>weekly</changefreq> <lastmod>2010-09-24T08:00:00+04:00</lastmod> </url> Can anyone give me some guidance on what method might work for this? Do you think it's more a mod_rewrite issue? Or can this be handled easier with straight up modifications to my below? I'm just a bit confused on what direction I should be looking.. Thanks for any input. <?php header("Content-Type: text/xml;charset=iso-8859-1"); echo '<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <urlset xmlns="http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9">'; //include('config.local.php'); $cxn = mysqli_connect($config['db_host'], $config['db_user'], $config['db_password'], $config['db_name']); $query = "SELECT cscart_product_descriptions.product_id, cscart_products.product_id, cscart_products.timestamp FROM cscart_product_descriptions JOIN cscart_products ON cscart_product_descriptions.product_id = cscart_products.product_id WHERE cscart_products.status='A' LIMIT 10000"; $result = mysqli_query($cxn, $query); $row = mysqli_fetch_array($result); while ($row = mysqli_fetch_array($result)) { $formatedTime = $row['timestamp']; echo '<url> <loc>http://abcdefg.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=' . $row['product_id'] . '</loc> <changefreq>weekly</changefreq> <lastmod>'. date('c',$formatedTime) .'</lastmod> </url>'; } //while ($row = mysqli_fetch_array($result)) echo '</urlset>'; ?> Ok, so I have a bit of code but it's not working as it should, would one of you guys have a look at it and let me know where I'm going wrong? Basically I need to be able to input several words or terms into the text area, each on a separate line and have the results displayed something like: hello: 23,000.000 hello world: 19,000,000 world: 278,000,000 I also see that the script is not searching the words / terms inside quotes (EG. "hello world") TIA Code: [Select] <html> <body> <?php function my_fetch($url,$user_agent='Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.01; Windows NT 5.0)') { $ch = curl_init(); curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_URL, $url); curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_USERAGENT, $user_agent); curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_HEADER, 0); curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1); curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_REFERER, 'http://www.google.com/'); $result = curl_exec ($ch); curl_close ($ch); return $result; } $s = $_GET['s']; if (isset($s)) { echo "<p><i>Search for $s</i></p>"; $s = urlencode($s); $data = my_fetch("http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=" . $s . I've found many, but not one of them work. They will permanently send back the text "Online", or "Offline". This is the simplest code I have found: <?php $ip = "66.79.190.40"; $port = "27960"; if (! $sock = @fsockopen($ip, $port, $num, $error, 5)) echo '<B><FONT COLOR=red>Offline</b></FONT>'; else{ echo '<B><FONT COLOR=lime>Online</b></FONT>'; fclose($sock); } ?> I'm also looking into getting it to pull the map name and player-list, but I should be able to figure that out on my own once I get this working. If it helps, this script is supposed to connect to the original Quake games(One, two, and three). Now this one is a bit of a shit head. I am using a really comprehensive class i found on on the web for upload / re-size / crop but i want to be able to override it's error handling and i am not good enough to start modifying the code in the class with out fucking it up. Firstly i will show you how i have invoked the class. Code: [Select] if( isset($_FILES['image'] ) ) { //Class includes include("../scrips/php/cms/database.insert.class.php"); include ("../scrips/php/cms/img.upload.resize.crop.class.php.php"); //----------|Start: upload, resize & save $your_image = new _image; //----------| Upload orginal image $your_image->uploadTo = 'uploads/'; $upload = $your_image->upload($_FILES['image']); //----------| Resize and upload small thumbnail $your_image->newPath = 'thums/'; $your_image->newWidth = 50; $your_image->newHeight = 50; $resized = $your_image->resize(); //----------| Resize and upload medium thumbnail $your_image->newPath = 'thums2/'; $your_image->newWidth = 100; $your_image->newHeight = 100; $resized = $your_image->resize(); //----------| Getting the image name to insert into the database futher on in the code $name = $resized; $img_str = explode("/",$name); $final_img_name = $img_str['1']; echo "Article has been added!"; //----------------|end //----------------| Start database insert (class manipulation) $table = "blog_posts"; $title = "'".$_POST['ArticleTitle']."',"; $img = "'".$final_img_name."',"; $post = "'".$_POST['ArticleBody']."',"; $aurthor_id = "'1',"; $category_id = "'".$_POST['Category']."',"; $date_posted = "NOW()"; $values = array("$title","$img","$post","$aurthor_id","$category_id","$date_posted"); $fields = array('title,','img,','post,','aurthor_id,','category_id,','date_posted'); $obj= new DatabaseInsert; $obj->DatabaseConnectionRequire(); $obj->ArticleInsert($values,$fields,$table); //----------------|end } As you can see it's fairly basic. What i want to do is before it runs this script and starts including/invoking the class etc, i want to be able to check to see if there is a value been posted from a FILE FORM OBJECT and if there is to proceed with this script, alternatively i want it to execute another code which will handle it in regards to the concept of my page. A simple javascript alert with be ok providing it reloaded the page to it's default state. If any one can help me here i would appreciate it a lot. Thanks I have written a small script for my own personal use that checks the servers of my favorite sites to see if they are operational. I'm having trouble getting it to work, I have most of it (I think) and I'm very new to PHP. The script also allows for a form to add any sites to the file, which I think I explode into an array correctly, at a later time. Here's my code, Please Help! <html> <head> <title>project.php</title> </head> <body> <?php $filename = "websites.txt"; $file = file_get_contents($filename); // reads entire file into a string $DomainNames = explode("\n", $file); // split the string at new line characters, returns an array $length = count($DomainNames) - 1; // count is the correct way to get the length of an array $i=0; while($i<=$length){ $fp = @fsockopen ($DomainNames[$i], 80, $errno, $errstr, 10); if (!$fp) echo "$DomainNames[$i] : <font color='red'>Failed!</font>"; else { echo "$DomainNames[$i] : <font color='green'>Online!</font>"; echo "<br>"; $i++; } } if (isset($_POST['submit'])) { $DomainNames[] = $_POST['url']; // append url to array $file = implode("\n", $DomainNames); // convert array to string, delimiting by new lines file_put_contents($filename, $file); // save contents to file } ?> <form action="project.php" method="post"> <fieldset> <label for="url">Url: </label> <input type="text" name="url" id="url" /> <input type="submit" name="submit" id="submit" value="Add URL" /> </fieldset> </form> </body> </html> Hi, I'm currently using a voting script, but have a problem with people voting more then once, and want to add a way to keep the voting unique and 1 per person via IP check can anybody assist me how to implement it in the following script please?

Edited by cobusbo, 14 January 2015 - 01:49 PM. Okay so my news script is set to view only 10 pieces of news. But I want it so that it starts a new page once I have more than 10 pieces of news. Code: [Select] <?php require("functions.php"); include("dbconnect.php"); session_start(); head1(); body1(); new_temp(); sotw(); navbar(); $start = 0; $display = 10; $query = "SELECT * FROM news ORDER BY id DESC LIMIT $start, $display"; $result = mysql_query( $query ); if ($result) { while( $row = @mysql_fetch_array( $result, MYSQL_ASSOC ) ) { news_box( $row['news'], $row['title'], $row['user'], $row['date'], $row['id'] ); } mysql_free_result($result); } else { news_box( 'Could not retrieve news entries!', 'Error', 'Error', 'Error'); } footer(); mysql_close($link); ?> I tried a few things but they failed....miserably. like if I'm displaying a hundred entries , my website will be super long in length so I wanna break those hundred entries into maybe like 12 per page . Then click next page or the page number to view the next 12. Hi everyone! I've been working on a php script to replace links that contain a query with direct links to the files they would redirect to. Hi i have this upload script which works fine it uploads image to a specified folder and sends the the details to the database. but now i am trying to instead make a modify script which is Update set so i tried to change insert to update but didnt work can someone help me out please this my insert image script which works fine but want to change to modify instead Code: [Select] <?php mysql_connect("localhost", "root", "") or die(mysql_error()) ; mysql_select_db("upload") or die(mysql_error()) ; // my file the name of the input area on the form type is the extension of the file //echo $_FILES["myfile"]["type"]; //myfile is the name of the input area on the form $name = $_FILES["image"] ["name"]; // name of the file $type = $_FILES["image"]["type"]; //type of the file $size = $_FILES["image"]["size"]; //the size of the file $temp = $_FILES["image"]["tmp_name"];//temporary file location when click upload it temporary stores on the computer and gives it a temporary name $error =array(); // this an empty array where you can then call on all of the error messages $allowed_exts = array('jpg', 'jpeg', 'png', 'gif'); // array with the following extension name values $image_type = array('image/jpg', 'image/jpeg', 'image/png', 'image/gif'); // array with the following image type values $location = 'images/'; //location of the file or directory where the file will be stored $appendic_name = "news".$name;//this append the word [news] before the name so the image would be news[nameofimage].gif // substr counts the number of carachters and then you the specify how how many you letters you want to cut off from the beginning of the word example drivers.jpg it would cut off dri, and would display vers.jpg //echo $extension = substr($name, 3); //using both substr and strpos, strpos it will delete anything before the dot in this case it finds the dot on the $name file deletes and + 1 says read after the last letter you delete because you want to display the letters after the dot. if remove the +1 it will display .gif which what we want is just gif $extension = strtolower(substr($name, strpos ($name, '.') +1));//strlower turn the extension non capital in case extension is capital example JPG will strtolower will make jpg // another way of doing is with explode // $image_ext strtolower(end(explode('.',$name))); will explode from where you want in this case from the dot adn end will display from the end after the explode $myfile = $_POST["myfile"]; if (isset($image)) // if you choose a file name do the if bellow { // if extension is not equal to any of the variables in the array $allowed_exts error appears if(in_array($extension, $allowed_exts) === false ) { $error[] = 'Extension not allowed! gif, jpg, jpeg, png only<br />'; // if no errror read next if line } // if file type is not equal to any of the variables in array $image_type error appears if(in_array($type, $image_type) === false) { $error[] = 'Type of file not allowed! only images allowed<br />'; } // if file bigger than the number bellow error message if($size > 2097152) { $error[] = 'File size must be under 2MB!'; } // check if folder exist in the server if(!file_exists ($location)) { $error[] = 'No directory ' . $location.
