PHP - Problem Listing $_post Values

Well I have a script file that loads lots of info from a form using $_POST[] method, which is quite tedious:

I was wondering if there is a way to write one or two simple lines of code to load all variables stored in superglobal array $_POST[] efficiently. The point is to store all values within $_POST[] to an array called $item[], what I was thinking about is:

Seems that its not gonna work, so I wonder if anyone of you have ideas on how I am able to simplify my code with 10-20 lines of $_POST[] to just 2-3 lines. Please do lemme know if this is possible, thanks.

I'm looking for some pointers in regards to my form..

How would  I firstly trim the $_POST value of the variables that come through via the form (I'm only using one for now)..I know I'm making a right dogs dinner of it. 

In my head I'm thinking, trim all the posts first before i even assign a variable to it ( i dont know if thats possible), then use an array for when more values start coming through via the form. You know as i make a contact form that requires more data from the user..

I have set up 2 php pages

page 1 - add_entry2.php
In this page I have a invoice table created where I can dynamically add/delete rows. This has a View Bill button which takes me to page 2- add_entry3.php
In this page it shows up the rows added in page 1 in read only format, so if the user wants to modify the data that he/she entered then he must Click on <back> that i have provided in the page 2 which will direct him to page 1

Now the problem starts here
on click of Back the dynamically added rows dissappear..which is frustrating..I know its something to do with my code..but can anyone help me fix it.

One more thing is that i dont want to store the data into DB till the finalise button is clicked on page 2 so that means till page 2 is submitted nothing goes to DB from Page 1. 


I am able to retain values if I use the code Code: [Select]

i,e if I submit back to the same page and retrieve values form $_POST


but If I use the code Code: [Select]
<input type="button" value="Back" onClick="history.go(-1);return true;">to get back to add_entry2.ph it looses all the values. Is there any other way to code the BACK link retaining my $_POST values(Do you think $_SESSION would work in this case?)

Hi, I am using POST to send the id of a row in a MySQL database, this id should then be used to delete the row from MySQL, this all works fine when I use GET, but as soon as i try and use POST (for security reasons) it deletes another row.

I have been working on this script for over 5 hours, the script used to work but I have recreated some html code in the html form and I think it may have something to do with why the script does not work but I can not see it.

Hopefully an extra pair of eyes can help.

The I have tested what the $_POST['title'] below echos in the php script and it does carry the value to the php page, but the IF statement does not work.

I have a problem that occurred only recently, apparently by some change my webhost made on the server.
Some time ago I wrote a script that simulates a Poedit-type editor. The script has about 1500 textareas (the translation fields) with unique names, dynamically generated.
All worked fine. Now suddenly I get errors (see below) when I use more than 1000 textareas. It is not a problem of $_POST size, if happens also with empty textareas.
I will show here a simple php test file that I called testta.php, which creates the same error as my much more complicated real script:

When $max is set to a number < 1000 it works.
On the web I have only found answers that deal with max size of posts, but as I mentioned that is not my case.
My webhost can't help me out either. Until last Friday all worked fine.
Does anyone know what server setting could create this problem?

I have developed a script for dynamic display of coupons, for a client. Explanation: There is an index.php page that contains a text link. when we click on the link at the first time, a coupon name (say coupon1) should be shown in a pop up window and at the same time another page (page3.php) should be called in place of the parent window. There is a coupon list (coupon_list.txt) which contains 10 coupons. After displaying coupon1, it should be removed from the coupon_list.txt file, so that when the user clicks on the link in the second time, coupon2 should be displayed.

I have developed a php function(pop.php) for this purpose. My problem is that it is working perfectly in Mozilla FireFox and Google Chrome, and also in local machine. But it is not working properly in Internet Explorer (but in local machine it is working properly in IE). That means if we click back from page3.php to index.php and again clicking in the link, it shows the same coupon (coupon1) instead of coupon2.

I am not able to solve this problem. Please help me.

I am trying to create a history of requested URI's (upto 3) for two purposes Login page and Error Logging. My problem is the Session is written and the values are set yet i can not retrieve the values in it upon a refresh. The use of an Array is to manage the quantity of max values (not written in yet).
