I have a problem in saving data from other deductions and the total deductions and takehomepay, because other deductions is insertable textfield and when I add other deductions the total deductions will change also the Take Home Pay. OK, so I am trying to read exif data from images and have come up against a snag that I cannot see the answer to. I know that what I have at present is pretty basic, but I want to be sure that I know how to access the bits I want before tidying it up into something more sophisticated. The coide I have is this:-

Which serves quite well apart from the ISO, which comes back as "Array". Now when I do a var_dump I see that ISOSpeedRatings returns as this:-

The main page loads fine - meaning that the $_SESSION variables have been set correctly. However, when the next page loads (including the same file), the $_GET values obviously aren't there but the $_SESSION variables should be intact. I am getting fails every time though in Opera and Safari (have checked in IE, FF and Chrome and all seems well).

However, if I then refresh the browser - in both Opera and Safari - the next page loads fine and the $_SESSION variables are correctly set.

Problem Sending Data To Tcp Port

Hi. I am writing a web app to control Zoom Player on my HTPC. I found that ZP supports listening on a TCP port to accept control commands. The docs say to quit ZP, send 5100,fnExit + ASCII 13/10 to port 4769. My original client was C# and I implemented it there, works great. I then realized WTF am I doing using an external .EXE to just send data to a TCP port? Switched to using PHP's fsockopen. Alas, that causes an error to pop up on ZP (List index out of bounds or some such). Perplexed, I wrote a GUI for the HTPC to just display an ASCII val breakdown of what it receives to compa

So it looks like they both send the data the same. Any idea why the discrepancy?

Problem Exporting Data To Csv File

this is the code i'm using at the moment which is at the bottom of a webpage

The variable named $out is a long line of text in csv format. I've echoed that variable and it's all good.

When a checkbox in a form further up the page is checked the code creates and fills in the $out variable and then carries out the code above.

The problem i have is that when the csv save dialog comes up and the file is saved, all it contains is a copy of the html code which is on that page, not the info stored in the $out variable.

Can anyone offer any advice on what the problem is?

Hey guys im making a blog and when i make a post it automatically takes the date and created an archive based on what ever i have in the database (date wise) anyways it works almost fine but if i make a date in the same month it duplicates like so:

October 2010

November 2010

Is there away where i can limit October by 1 but when i come to make a post next year it will still display like so:

October 2010
November 2010
December 2010
January 2011
...
October 2011

Problem Displaying Data From Mysql

I am querying my database to show the visit statistics for a particular week and it shows the number of visits for the countries, but does not display the country name. I have proved that the MySQL works by going into phpMyAdmin and pasting the query into SQL query tab, replacing the POST with 1, for week 1. I can't see why it is not displying the country.
