PHP - Php File Upload Not Working Properly
I have been searching for an answer for several days but have not yet resolved my problem. Essentiallty I started out looking for an image upload script then slowly went towards just a basic upload script. Each time I try a new script I am getting the same error. My folder permissions are set, file uploads is enabled, safe mode is disabled.

This was working locally but now i have uploaded it i cannot get it to work. So whats happening is when i go to upload a file, im uploading a .mov file but the error message that pops up is "The file type is not allowed, only allowed .mp4, .ogg and .mov" but the .mov mime is in the videoacceptable array so im a bit stuck at the moment, any know whats the problem?
...and the file is to be copied into a folder created by me. However, I would now like to restrict the file size and file type to only word documents. I currently have a restriction of 200KB but it's not working - no idea why as I've looked at other similar codes and they look the same. Also, just to complicate things - can I stop files overwriting each other when uploaded? At the moment, if 2 people upload files with the same name one will overwrite the other. I know this is possible as torrentflux caters for this but unsure of where to start. I dont want to allow file or directory uploads or creation in my /etc/php.ini file (this is turned off). Yet then torrentflux allows me to link a torrent from an external source (using legal downloads of course ) but then it uploads it on my server and creates folders on a per user basis. I would like to change the name of the photo to the id of the person record (created automatically on by the database) then a hyphen, then their first name and lastname. (i am flexible on this). Okay, so I am trying to make a play.php file connected to my database, this database got a table named "webclientcreate". When I go to play.php?id=1, it is showing the proper one (the 1st row wich got id 1 in it), however if I after that go to something random like play.php?fsfasd the ID 1s page still pops up.. I can also go to play.php?id=2 and still get the id 1's data. I want to make it that every row got its own information (well it does, but the php file doesnt seem to recieve it correctly). If anything.. Hi, I'm having problems with a PHP mail handler and everything seems to be working fine except I get slashes in the message body from the form. If my input is "Please don't delete this" I get "Please don/'t delete this" in the message body, however it is striping the other tags. I'm not sure what is wrong and was hoping for a bit of help to figure this out.
