PHP - Please Help - Php Mysql Passing Entire Transaction Table To Affilate Network Ins
I just signed up for an affiliate network (commission junction) to help me drive traffic to my donation generation website for Charities.
My Software uses CAKE PHP on an Apache Server with MySql. I had to put a pixel on the order confirmation page passing the Transaction ID and The Purchase Amount from the database. The Transactions are located in the transaction table but the code that was written is passing EVERY Transaction in the database every time something is purchased. The Columns for the transaction table are ID CREATED MODIFIED USERID CLASS TRANSACTION_TYPE_ID and AMOUNT I have 32 types of Transactions in my Transaction_Type Table, the only transaction_types that are sales generated by the affiliate network are transaction_type 2. The code I have now which isn't working correctly is. <?php // Make a MySQL Connection mysql_connect("localhost", "frankgth", "andrew2011!") or die(mysql_error()); mysql_select_db("frankgth_groupon5") or die(mysql_error()); // Get all the data from the "example" table $result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM `transactions` ") or die(mysql_error()); // keeps getting the next row until there are no more to get - while($row = mysql_fetch_array( $result )) { ?> <img src="https://www.emjcd.com/u?CID=1521593&OID=<?php echo $row['id'];?>&TYPE=349217&ITEM1=PURCHASE&AMT1=<?php echo $row['amount'];?>&QTY1=1&CURRENCY=USD&METHOD=IMG" height="1" width="20"> <?php } ?> How Do I only show this pixel if the action is Transaction_Type_ID is equal to number 2,with the Amount and Transaction ID. Thanks in advaced. This site helps charity so i really want to get it working! Similar TutorialsWhen i pass entire url in a get variable as http://www.example.com/index.php?url=http://www.yahoo.com/ I am getting the following error Forbidden You don't have permission to access /index.php on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. But there is no problem when i use the following http://www.example.com/index.php?url=www.yahoo.com/ http://www.example.com/index.php?url=yahoo.com/ http://www.example.com/index.php?url=yahoo&value=1 I am getting "Forbidden-error" only when i include "http://"(even if it is urlencoded) in get variables. Can any one help me... I need some advice on how to implement, if possible, the following scenario: I would like start a MySQL transaction to process database changes through Ajax requests and commit the changes on request of the user. The web application needs to allow multiple users, but can be limited. If persistent connections must be used, any persistent connections must be terminated after a length of time, or on session time to avoid hogging the limited number of persistent users available. Is there any good way of doing this? And were should I begin my research. Much thanks! I work with a large codebase and I have this situation come up fairly often:
the legacy class has large objects such as:
$design->motor->dimensions->a; $design->motor->dimensions->bd; $design->specifications->weight; $design->data->height; //etcWhen I create a new class, that class sometimes operates on the specific data, so say: class MyClass { public function compute($weight, $height, $a) { //stuff } } //and I call this for example as such: (new MyClass())->compute($design->specifications->weight, $design->data->height, $design->motor->dimensions->a);CONS: Potential issue: if design specs change and I need to change things parameters in "compute" function, I need to "re-key" the variables I pass to the function, and adjust things accordinly in MyClass as wel. PROS: only the exact data is being passed, and this data can come from anywhere it is viable, so in effect the function is fairly well separated, I think. Alternative option for me is to pass the entire design object, i.e class MyClass { public function compute(&$design) //can also be done via DI through a setter or constructor. { print $design->specifications->weight; print ($design->data->height + $design->motor->dimensions->a); //stuff } } (new MyClass())->compute($design);PROS: In this case when things change internally in which variables are needed and how things are computed, I only need to change the code in compute function of the class itself. CONS: MyClass now needs to be aware of how $design object is constructed. When it comes to this parameter passing, and Dependency Injection like this in general, does Computer Science advocate a preference on this issue? Do I pass the entire object, or do I pass only the bits and pieces I need? This topic has been moved to Other Libraries and Frameworks. http://www.phpfreaks.com/forums/index.php?topic=345560.0 I'm attempting to implement a simple social networking system but at the moment am confused about how to create a multiple query which will display a certain user's friends list. The database contains four tables, the two tables that I'm using at the moment at 'usersTable' and 'friendshipsTable' are detailed below. usersTable | Table that stores all the user data UserID | Default primary key Forename | Surname | Username | Password | Email Address | friendshipTable | Table that stores information about friendships between users FriendshipID | Default primary key userID_1 | UserID userID_2 | UserID Status | Either Pending or Confirmed. The user's id is parsed into the url, and then saved into a variable. blah.com/userprofile.php?id=6 $id = $_GET['id']; I am familiar with creating simple queries, but can't quite work out how to set up multiple table queries. What the query needs to do is to check the userID that is parsed with the url, and then check the friendshipsTable by checking if either the userID_1 or userID_2 field matches the userID to grab the records from the table where there is a match. The next step is to check to see if the friendship is 'Confirmed' or 'Pending' and if it is 'Pending' to ignore it. Once the records have then been chosen I need the query to then check the value in either userID_1 or userID_2 that doesn't match userID and then pull the user's username and name from the usersTable so it can be displayed on a webpage. I've no idea hoe much I may or may not be overcomplicating this, an example of the code that I've got so far for this query can be found below, but that's as far as I've got at the moment. $displayFriends = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM friendshipTable, usersTable WHERE friendshipTable.userID_1='$id' OR friendshipTable.userID_2='$id' "); Cheers for any help. Hello again, I'm trying to scrape a table from another website using preg_match, especifically, using this code: Code: [Select] <?php $data = file_get_contents('http://tvcountdown.com/index.php'); $regex = '/[color=red]<table class="episode_list_table">[/color] (.+?) [color=red]</table>[/color]/'; preg_match($regex,$data,$match); var_dump($match); echo $match[0]; ?> Heres the thing. It doesnt work I think it's because the first and second anchors are html tags, 'cause if I parse some other stuff without any tag, there's no problemo. Any hints, mates? Thanks I actually asked a question here yesterday and decided to try a different route with it. What I am doing is passing an email variable entered from my home page on to www.dollapal.com/offerlist.php. I'm wanting this page to be a complete list of all of my entries in my surveys table. The email variable needs to be appended to the end of every link. I got that to work, but what I want to do now is display that information for every record in my 'surveys' table. Right now I am using the random function, which I'm sure is wrong, but I'm not sure what function to be looking for. Is it possible to use a foreach function here to echo each record? If so, I'm not sure how exactly to call the foreach() function in this case. I believe my two problems lie in the random and foreach functions, but I'm not sure how to correct them. I've attached a little chunk of code that I'm working with. I'm not sure if I'm completely off base here, or if I'm close to achieving my desired result. Please let me know if you require more information. This forum has been amazing to me so far. Thank you all for your help! I am looking to see if I could use one of the paypal features to pay two diffierent account from a single transaction and does paypal does that automatically?.. I was checking the immediate payment for a third party from the express checkout but I don't know that much about it. Does anyone knows how to achieve this? Ok, so I am kind of just looking for some experience on this one. I am building a billing / referral system that works on a hierarchy. Now the hierarchy is simple and straight forward. However, I am trying to figure out the easiest / least error prone way of handling the payments. I have an IPN with paypal set up and working successfully. Here is how the system works: User signs up and refers several users. Each user pays $8 a month (paypal subscription). The system pays $1 7 levels deep. So The payment scheme would look like this: User 8 pays $1 to User 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and user 1. Then, the site keeps the remaining $1. I have the Paypal IPN saving the $8 payment transaction to the database. Now I need to divy it up, but I am split on when the best time to do this would be and how. There is a possibility that the user could pay a different amount less than or more than the $8 and they also pay a setup fee which should not be divided. It should only divide the shares when the current account is paid in full. Another thing to keep in mind, is that the $8 subscription, 7 levels deep, and the setup fee are variable numbers. (The admin may change it at any time.) I see multiple solutions, but not sure which would be best as all have possibility for errors in handling. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks, Tom I am retrieving a rowfrom a table and when I post the row variable it doesnt read it. ___ $query = "SELECT * FROM $tbl_name"; $result = mysql_query($query) or die(mysql_error()); while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)){ echo $row['name']; echo "<br />"; $postinfo = 'p_doctor_name=' . $row .'&p_name_type=A&p_search_type=BEGINS'; __ This outputs p_entity_name=&p_name_type=A&p_search_type=BEGINS Note that it is missing $row Do I need to put it in an array? I'm using a php video web script which includes this buy_video.php file, which calculates the video uploader's earned amount, and insert's that amount in the 'u_paid_videos' table column named 'earned_amount', which appears in this file on line 73: <?php ob_start(); if (IS_LOGGED == false) { $data = array('status' => 400, 'error' => 'Not logged in'); echo json_encode($data); exit(); } if (!empty($_POST['id'])) { if (!is_array($_POST['id'])) { $id_array[] = $_POST['id']; } else { $id_array = $_POST['id']; } // get cost video // get the default video price, to use if there is no per video play price $db->where('name', 'video_play_price'); $db_cost = $db->getOne('config'); $video_cost = (float)$db_cost->value; // the number of submitted videos - used to determine if all records were inserted $count_video = count($id_array); $user_id = $user->id; $wallet = (float)str_replace(',', '', $user->wallet); $balance = (float)str_replace(',', '', $user->balance); // add up the video prices $amount = 0; foreach ($id_array as $id) { $video_id = (int)PT_Secure($id); // get video data $video = $db->where('id', $id)->getOne(T_VIDEOS); // add the video play price if any, or the default price $amount += $video->video_play_price?$video->video_play_price:$video_cost; } // determine if the user has enough credits if( ($wallet >= $amount) OR ($balance + $wallet >= $amount) ) { //if( ($wallet >= $amount) OR ($balance >= $amount) ) { $db->startTransaction(); $inserted_records = 0; foreach ($id_array as $id){ $video_id = (int)PT_Secure($id); // get video data $video = $db->where('id', $id)->getOne(T_VIDEOS); // use the video play price if any, or the default price $video_cost_new = $video->video_play_price?$video->video_play_price:$video_cost; // credit the user 50% of the video cost $uploader_amount = $video_cost_new *0.50; // add data to paid table $insert_buy = $db->insert('u_paid_videos', [ 'id_user' => $user_id, 'id_video' => $video_id, 'session_key' => $_SESSION['session_key'], 'video_play_price' => (string)$video_cost, // the cost at the time of purchase // this is the default video cost not the $video_cost_new 'video_title' => $video->title, // storing the title 'user_id_uploaded' => $video->user_id, // the user who uploaded the video 'earned_amount' => $uploader_amount, ]); // count successful inserted records if ($insert_buy) { $inserted_records++; } //update the 'balance' of the user who uploaded the video // get the user's record $userwallet = $db->where('id', $video->user_id)->getOne(T_USERS); // add to the balance $videouserwallet = $userwallet->balance+$uploader_amount; // update the record $db->where('id', $video->user_id); $update_balance = $db->update(T_USERS, [ 'balance' => number_format($videouserwallet, 1, '.', ''), ]); } $update_wallet = null; $update_user_balance = null; ETC ..................................................... Ultimately, I’m trying to integrate the buy_video.php file’s ‘$earned_amount’ into a web script’s existing transaction file. Here are a couple of lines from that transaction file: $this_day_video_earn = $db->rawQuery("SELECT SUM(amount - admin_com) AS sum FROM ".T_VIDEOS_TRSNS." c WHERE `time` >= ".$day_start." AND `time` <= ".$day_end." AND user_id = ".$pt->user->id); $today_earn = $this_day_ads_earn[0]->sum + $this_day_video_earn[0]->sum ; and $trans = $db->where('user_id',$user->id)->orderBy('id','DESC')->get(T_VIDEOS_TRSNS); That may not be enough info, but I’d like assistance changing those lines to: $this_day_video_earn = $db->rawQuery("SELECT SUM(earned_amount) AS sum FROM “.T_VIDEOS.” c WHERE time >= “.$day_start.” AND time <= “.$day_end.” AND user_id = ".$pt->user->id); $trans = $db->where('user_id',$user->id)->orderBy('id','DESC')->get(T_VIDEOS);
I tried those changes without success.
Edited March 15, 2019 by Chrisj Hey guys...I have a php that loads when the user is being taken after making a purchase. On that php file, echo and print are disabled...and I need to send a variable from that php file to flash, doesnt matter is flash, could be other php file, html, anyway... <param name="movie" value="retorno.swf?userId=<?php echo $Referencia; ?>" /> On the example above I am using echo $Referencia...I need some function to substitue echo/print... Any ideas??? Thanks in advance! Customers can view transaction history for approved and declined transactions (the reason for the decline should be included). Transactions are logged with their transaction reference numbers and status. |
