Ive set up a booking form on my website to be sent directly to my email once the client clicked on the send button.. The problem I am having while checking these pages on wamp is that the booking form is ok but when I click on the send button the following message error appears "Warning: mail() [function.mail]: Failed to connect to mailserver at "localhost" port 25, verify your "SMTP" and "smtp_port" setting in php.ini or use ini_set() in C:\wamp\www\fluffy_paws\booking_form2.php on line 27" When I check online I have this message "500 - Internal server error. Hi Guys, I need help I have setup a code recently : this is the code : $za['MIN(spec_positionid)'] and it gave me an error saying : Cannot use object of type stdClass as array but if I change to this : $za->spec_positionid it works, but I need to get the MIN value from the database. can someone please help. this is very urgent for me..... I have a table with a list of users and an edit button and delete button. When the edit button is pressed on a site it passes the user_id as p_id to the page that catches it and displays the data. The problem is when I click on the "update user" button, I get the following error:
Warning: Undefined variable $the_user_id in C:\xampp\htdocs\3-19-21(2) - SafetySite\admin\edit_user.php on line 10 The weird thing is I had another update user page with a table I created that ran the query to update the table in the database just fine. But as I created it, it didn't look all that great so I recreated the page and used a bootstrap table because of the much cleaner look. Both pages have the exact same PHP code, the only difference is the bootstrap table I added in. So I'm really at a loss with this. Other than the table and PHP code, there is a script at the bottom of the page for the table itself to allow for searching within the table, i'll include that as well. The PHP code is as follows:

I am not very experienced with php. I would appreciate any help I can get because I need to get the site back up. I have a website that has been working well for several years. It was running on php 5.6. I have to change it to php 7.1 or 7.2. I made the coding changes. The problem is only with files that I had pw protected using htaccess and htpasswd. I do not have a test server set up on my local machine. I do have a domain on my host server that I use for testing. When I started this process, I uploaded the updated files to the test domain but I did not add the pw protection. Everything worked with no issues. I then uploaded the files to the main domain. They were pw protected on the main domain. The pages use html forms along with php to read, write, and edit information in a mysql database. The page function/interaction is as follows: www.lonestarschool.org - main page (index.php). Works fine www.lonestarschool.org/announcements.php - pulls data from a mysql database and displays. This page has a links to add or delete information from the database. Works fine www.lonestarschool.org/announcements/delannouncement.php - displays the information from the database with a "Delete" button beside it. The delete button calls hwww.lonestarschool.org/announcements/do_delannouncement.php using post. Works fine. Click a "Delete" button - I get "No input file specified" Based on web research, it looked like the htaccess file was causing the issue. Made sense especially given that the test domain without htaccess worked. To test the theory, I copied the htaccess file to the folder on the test domain. I then got the same error on the test domain. I thought this was progress, but not so. I removed the htaccess from both domains. Both still give me the error. I cleared browser cache. No effect. I also visited the web site from a mobile device. that had never been used to access the sites. I got the same error. Please, if anyone has any ideas, I need the help. I have a registration form on my website and after Registration I want the user to activate first his account. I don't have problem on sending this email to the user. What I want to appear is like this.. GoodDay "username", Blah Blah! how can you actually do that? I know that you can do that through session variables but the thing is email's can't accept scripts on sending emails. how can I get the value from a session variable for example and convert it to plain html text so that i can OUTPUT it to the email.. I now want to combine each choice in each category with each choice in the other categories and list the combinations to the user. If the user chooses one or more options in each category, it is relatively easy to nest foreach loops, since the number of categories will always be the same.
