PHP - Getting Img Tag And Auto Upload Properties For Editor
Hello
i just want to code a function for my editor that help me to do this: i copy a page with some note and picture in my editor,when i press send bottom editor find IMG tag in and upload it in my own server i can write a function for finding IMG tag and upload,but i don't know how i have to add automatic upload to my server,is there any body here can help me for coding this? or do you know one script or editor that have this properties on it? i use my sample editor Similar Tutorials
Auto Save Plugin for the CKEditor which automatically saves the content (via HTML5 LocalStorage) temporarly (for example when a login session times out). And after the content is saved it can be restored when the editor is reloaded.
The auto save plugin for CKEditor does its job the way its described in the quote above.
I was wondering if there is a way to have the web based text editor for my blog, the way the Wordpress text editor is, with an auto save (draft) function?
Is there a web based text editor with such function, which would enable me this?
Edited by glassfish, 01 December 2014 - 07:43 AM. Im trying to write an image upload script which checks various elements of the image and then saves it and and a thumbnail into a folder. At the moment I am getting a white screen which makes me think I have a syntax error so I have come here to find some fresh eyes to help me out. Can anyone see any reason why this wouldn't be working? Form Code: [Select] <form enctype='multipart/form-data' action='upload_image.php' method='POST'> <table class='uploads-form'> <tr> <td><input name='image' type='file' /><input type='hidden' name'MAX_FILE_SIZE' value='5000000' /></td> </tr> <tr> <td><input type='submit' name='upload_image' value='Upload' /></td> </tr> </table> </form> php <?php error_reporting(E_ALL); ini_set("display_errors", 1); $images_location = "project_files/"; $thumbs_location = "project_thumbs/"; $thumb_width = "100"; $maximum_size = "5000000"; //Auto Thumbnail Function function create_thumbnail($source,$destination, $thumb_width) { $size = getimagesize($source); $width = $size[0]; $height = $size[1]; $x = 0; $y = 0; if($width> $height) { $x = ceil(($width - $height) / 2 ); $width = $height; } elseif($height> $width) { $y = ceil(($height - $width) / 2); $height = $width; } $new_image = imagecreatetruecolor($thumb_width,$thumb_width) or die('Cannot initialize new GD image stream'); $extension = get_image_extension($source); if($extension=='jpg' || $extension=='jpeg') $image = imagecreatefromjpeg($source); if($extension=='gif') $image = imagecreatefromjpeg($source); if($extension=='png') $image = imagecreatefromjpeg($source); imagecopyresampled($new_image,$image,0,0,$x,$y,$thumb_width,$thumb_width,$width,$height); if($extension=='jpg' || $extension=='jpeg') imagejpeg($new_image,$destination); if($extension=='gif') $imagegif($new_image,$destination); if($extension=='png') imagepng($new_image,$destination); } //Get Extension Function function get_image_extension($name) { $name = strtolower($name); $i = strrpos($name,"."); if (!$i) { return ""; } $l = strlen($name) - $i; $extension = substr($name,$i+1,$l); return $extension; } //Random Name Function function random_name($length) { $characters = "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz01234567890"; $name = ""; for ($i = 0; $i < $length; $i++) { $name .= $character[mt_rand(0, strlen($characters) - 1)]; } return "image-".$name; } //Check And Save Image if(isset($_POST['upload_image'])) { if($_FILES['image']['name'] == ""){ echo = "Please select the image you would like to upload by clicking browse"; } else{ $size=filesize($_FILES['image']['tap_name']); $filename = stripslashes($_FILES['image']['name']); $extension = get_image_extension($filename); if($size > $maximum_size) { echo = "Your file size exceeds the maximum file size!"; } else if (($extension != "jpg") && ($extension != "jpeg") && ($extension != "png") && ($extension != "gif")) { echo = "Only the following extensions are allowed. Please try again!"; } else{ create_thumbnail($images_location.$image_random_name,$thumbs_location.$image_random_name, $thumb_width); echo = "Your image has been uploaded!"; } } } } ?> So a project I have simply to learn how it is done is to make an auto updating sitemap with a auto submitter. I have been doing a little research on sitemaps but haven't found much in the way of a tutorial or white paper or similar, anyway I was wondering if I am on the right track or not. What I was thinking for the auto-updating sitemap is since site maps are XML, when an article is published using my custom CMS/Blogging system, I make it rewrite the sitemap appending the new URL that will be generated. Then for the auto-submit, I can either make it a cron job or just manual press, but it would go though a for list of URLs, replacing the end part with my site map url. I think that is how it would be done. If you have a better idea, or can point out an article so I can understand a lot more with sitemaps, I will appreciate it, I am trying to learn as much as possible, I have gone to the offical website (sitemaps.org) but it doesn't have what I am looking for. Thanks, James //php code <?php include_once('con.php'); if(!empty($_GET['search'])) { $search = $connect->prepare('SELECT * FROM posts WHERE title LIKE :search'); $search->bindValue(':search', '%'.$_GET['search'].'%', PDO::PARAM_STR); $search->execute(); ?> <?php while($row = $search->fetch()) {?> <li class="result" onClick="searchValue('<?php echo $row['title'];?>')"><?php echo $row['title'];?></li> <?php } ?> <?php } ?> //ajax $('#inputsch').keyup(function(){ $.ajax({ type: 'GET', url: 'fetch.php', data:'search='+$(this).val(), success: function(data){ $('#box').show(); $('#box').html(data); } }); }); }); function searchValue(val) { $('#inputsch').val(val); $('#box').hide(); } //search box <form action="search.php"> <input id="inputsch" type="text" name="search" placeholder="search..." autocomplete="off" autofocus> <button type="submit" value="search" >search</button> </form> <div id="box"></div> //the problem here is when i click the result is only added to input, but i want it to autosubmit
I have code written for image uploading, but it doesn't allow multiple images on a single upload, and doesn't re-size. Anyone willing to share a good upload script that will do the following?: -Allow multiple image uploads (10+ per submission), -Re-size images on upload, and -Rename images. Thanks Brett Hi everyone, I have a page that i use to upload images to my website, i got a bit fed up of uploading one at a time so i decided to add multiple file fields to the form to upload multiple images at the same time. Im having a few problems, iv read up he http://www.php.net/manual/en/features.file-upload.multiple.php and it seems all i have to do is add [] to the form names to turn them into arrays. However when i come to upload the images, i keep getting the "$error[] = "Incorrect format!...." error from the code below. I cant seem to figure out what the problem is. Could anybody please point me in the right direction? <?php session_start(); $id = $_SESSION['id']; $connect = mysql_connect("localhost","leemp5_admin","p7031521"); mysql_select_db("leemp5_database"); $query = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM users WHERE id='$id'"); $row = mysql_fetch_assoc($query); $username = $row['username']; $submit = $_POST['submit']; $type = $_FILES['image']['type']; $size = $_FILES['image']['size']; $max_size = "1000"; $width = "100"; $height = "100"; $error = array(); function make_thumb($image_name,$filename,$new_width,$new_height) { $ext=getExtension($image_name); if(!strcmp("jpg",$ext) || !strcmp("jpeg",$ext)) $source_image=imagecreatefromjpeg($image_name); if(!strcmp("png",$ext)) $source_image=imagecreatefrompng($image_name); if(!strcmp("gif",$ext)) $source_image=imagecreatefromgif($image_name); $old_x=imageSX($source_image); $old_y=imageSY($source_image); $ratio1=$old_x/$new_width; $ratio2=$old_y/$new_height; if($ratio1>$ratio2) { $thumb_width=$new_width; $thumb_height=$old_y/$ratio1; } else { $thumb_height=$new_height; $thumb_width=$old_x/$ratio2; } $destination_image=ImageCreateTrueColor($thumb_width,$thumb_height); imagecopyresampled($destination_image,$source_image,0,0,0,0,$thumb_width,$thumb_height,$old_x,$old_y); if(!strcmp("jpg",$ext) || !strcmp("jpeg",$ext)) { imagejpeg($destination_image,$filename); } if(!strcmp("png",$ext)) { imagepng($destination_image,$filename); } if(!strcmp("gif",$ext)) { imagegif($destination_image,$filename); } imagedestroy($destination_image); imagedestroy($source_image); } function getExtension($str) { $i = strrpos($str,"."); if (!$i) { return ""; } $l = strlen($str) - $i; $ext = substr($str,$i+1,$l); return $ext; } if($submit) { $image=$_FILES['image']['name']; if ($image) { $filename = stripslashes($_FILES['image']['name']); $extension = getExtension($filename); $extension = strtolower($extension); if (($extension != "jpg") && ($extension != "jpeg") && ($extension != "png") && ($extension != "gif")) { $error[] = "Incorrect format! I'm doing some basic object coding to get my head around OOP PHP, but I've come across something I can't get to work. I've got two identical peices of code, MyClass is defined, MyClass2 is then defined as an extension of MyClass. MyClass has three properties Public, Private and Protected. In my first example I can access Public and Protected via a method in MyClass2, this class does NOT have a constructor. The second example has a constructor but I cannot access Public: Code: [Select] <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd"> <html> <body> <?php ECHO "MyClass2 does not have a constructor, Public & Protected both echo correctly from MyClass2->printHello!!!<BR>"; /** * Define MyClass */ class MyClass { public $public; protected $protected; private $private; protected $varXXX; function __construct() { $this->public = "Public"; $this->protected = "Protected"; $this->private = "Private"; //$this->printHello(); } function printHello() { echo $this->public . "!!!<BR>"; echo $this->protected . "!!!<BR>"; echo $this->private . "!!!<BR>"; } } /** * Define MyClass2 */ class MyClass2 extends MyClass { // We can redeclare the public and protected method, but not private protected $protected = 'Protected2'; /* function __construct() { echo $this->public . "#<BR>"; echo $this->protected . "#<BR><BR>"; //echo $this->private . "???<BR>"; } */ function printHello() { echo $this->public . "???<BR>"; echo $this->protected . "???<BR><BR>"; //echo $this->private . "???<BR>"; } } $obj = new MyClass(); //echo $obj->public . "<BR>"; // Works //echo $obj->protected; // Fatal Error //echo $obj->private; // Fatal Error //$obj->printHello(); // Shows Public, Protected and Private $obj2 = new MyClass2(); //echo $obj2->public; // Works //echo $obj2->private; // Undefined //echo $obj2->protected; // Fatal Error $obj2->printHello(); // Shows Public, Protected2, Undefined ?> </body> </html> RESULTS IN: Public??? Protected??? Code: [Select] <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd"> <html> <body> <?php ECHO "MyClass2 DOES have a constructor, Public does not work from MyClass2->printHello!!!<BR>"; /** * Define MyClass */ class MyClass { public $public; protected $protected; private $private; protected $varXXX; function __construct() { $this->public = "Public"; $this->protected = "Protected"; $this->private = "Private"; //$this->printHello(); } function printHello() { echo $this->public . "!!!<BR>"; echo $this->protected . "!!!<BR>"; echo $this->private . "!!!<BR>"; } } /** * Define MyClass2 */ class MyClass2 extends MyClass { // We can redeclare the public and protected method, but not private protected $protected = 'Protected2'; function __construct() { echo $this->public . "#<BR>"; echo $this->protected . "#<BR><BR>"; //echo $this->private . "???<BR>"; } function printHello() { echo $this->public . "???<BR>"; echo $this->protected . "<BR>"; // Works //echo $obj->protected; // Fatal Error //echo $obj->private; // Fatal Error //$obj->printHello(); // Shows Public, Protected and Private $obj2 = new MyClass2(); //echo $obj2->public; // Works //echo $obj2->private; // Undefined //echo $obj2->protected; // Fatal Error $obj2->printHello(); // Shows Public, Protected2, Undefined ?> </body> </html> RESULTS IN: # << Missing the property's contents Protected2# ??? << Missing the property's contents Protected2??? Any ideas why I cannot access the property's contents in the second example when the only difference is that it has a constructor? I have a bunch of quasi-static values that must be available to the application. Most of them are set based on settings in a configuration file. Others are based on GET, COOKIE, or SESSION values, and utilize the database to get the actual values. The values will never be written to or modified by the application, only read.
It seems to me that I could create some sort of superclass which includes static methods and properties, and I could access any value by something like superclass::get('some.value'); I could design the class so that the values are queried from the DB or obtained from a parsed file only the first time they are requested, and for future requests, retrieved from a static property.
That being said, I have been told from more than one person that I am just doing it "wrong".
Please let me know what is wrong about it.
Thank you

Here is the situation: I built a flash image slideshow for a client. This slideshow uses the following XML: Code: [Select] <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <SLIDESHOW SPEED="4"> <IMAGE URL="slideShowImages/image1.jpg" TITLE="The first Image" /> <IMAGE URL="slideShowImages/image2.jpg" TITLE="The second Image" /> <IMAGE URL="slideShowImages/image3.jpg" TITLE="The third Image" /> </SLIDESHOW> I have been looking for a way to both upload a new image to the server in the /slideShowImages/ folder, and add a new entry to the XML above. Also, I want the ability to delete a node from the list and remove the corresponding image from the server. Basically I want to make a CMS for a flash based slideshow. any help would be simply amazing. Thanks in advance, James I need to set a deep property if it is undefined or NULL such as shown below: function setProperty($value, stdClass $config, $p1, $p2, $p3, $p4) { if(!isset($config->$p1->$p2->$p3->$p4) || is_null($config->$p1->$p2->$p3->$p4)) { $config->$p1->$p2->$p3->$p4=$value; } } $config=json_decode(json_encode(['a'=>['b'=>['c'=>['x'=>null, 'y'=>123]], 'x'=>123],'x'=>['x'=>123], 'x'=>123])); setProperty(321, $config, 'a','b','c','x'); setProperty(321, $config, 'a','b','c','y'); But I wish the function to work regardless of property depth and came up with the following. Recommendations for a cleaner way? Maybe I should be working with arrays and array_merge_recursive()? function setProperty($value, stdClass $config, array $properties) { $property=array_shift($properties); if(!count($properties)){ if(!isset($config->$property) || is_null($config->$property)) { $config->$property=$value; } } else { if(empty($config->$property) || !is_object($config->$property)) { $config->$property=new \stdClass(); } setProperty($value, $config->$property, $properties); } } $config=json_decode(json_encode(['a'=>['b'=>['c'=>['x'=>null, 'y'=>123]], 'x'=>123],'x'=>['x'=>123], 'x'=>123])); setProperty(321, $config, ['a','b','c','x']); setProperty(321, $config, ['a','b','c','y']);
I implemented an endpoint which receives name/value pairs: PUT someresource/123 {"name": "description", "value": "Some new description"} I think I made a mistake, and should have implemented it as: PUT someresource/123 {"description": "Some new description"} The reason I think so is updating multiple properties is only (easily) possible using the later: PUT someresource/123 {"description": "Some new description", "otherProperty": "bla bla bla"} Assuming I am not using some 3rd party client library which only works with name/value pairs, any compelling reason why one shouldn't default to the later approach with key/values? I have wizard that asks several predefined questions to find-out user needs. at the end it must offer some items based on user answers. all of available items have some properties in common and one or two specific properties. what is the best way or algorithm to do this in JavaScript? e.g: Item 1 Properties: Name Weight Color Size Item 2 Properties: Name Size Weight Item 3 Properties: Name Color Size Thanks. Hi, I'm not 100% sure if this is HTML, PHP or Javascript, but my best guess is PHP. When you upload an image on Facebook, it automatically gathers the data about the image, i.e. size, device used (i.e. Canon, iPhone), title and description. It then outputs this on the page. Is there anyway to do this with PHP, instead of having to type all the information out again and upload that with the photo to a database? Cheers.
