I installed xampp today ( v2.5 ) and all of my old php/mysql stuff is haywire.

ONE example is this:

Before any of this script, I link to the database and all that, so it's not an issue of connection. My issue is I keep getting the following message:

I am trying to install a comments box, im new to php and mysql so havent been able to work this out for myself following other threads, hope someone can shed some light on the problem.
