PHP - Php, Mysql And Html (dreamweaver) Linking Help!!!

I am building a website that allows a client to email me documents (DocX, PDF, TXT,ZIP, etc) along with a simple HTML based form.

I used DreamWeaver to create the form and the upload area.  I figured out how to script the PHP code to send the text fields to my email address (and validate them), but I can't figure out how to get the attachments to send.

I am BRAND NEW to PHP and just trying to figure all thing out.  Any help would be appreciated. 

I have attached two .txt files to this post.  One is the HTML code for the forum and one is the actual PHP code I am using to send the form to my email.

I have a few tables in a project and i'm linking pages together via PK/FK's.

i have a main table with client names,
ID, CLIENT NAME, ETC

i have a table with communications
COMMID, ID, CONTACT NAMES, ETC

and another of communication history.
COMMHISTORYID, COMMID, DATE, TIME, ETC

I'm not sure how to write the query so that i can view/update information from all 3 tables on the same webpage page using php/mysql. I'd appreciate any assistance you may provide. thanks.

Is it possible to add HTML Code into a database using a hidden input?...

I want to add a hidden input to a register form so on the members list everyone has an automatic group display as 'Registered User' but I want the text in colour and the best way I could think of is to have

<font color=>Registered User</font>

inserted into the database, that way no matter where I display the group of a certain user its always the same colour, but obviously input is html so it just changes the colour of the value instead of including the html in the value.

How could I get around this?...

Im trying to retrieve HTML from a mysql database but nothing i've tried seems to work.
The HTML im trying to retrieve is an iframe with a link and styles (code from amazon associates). Im trying to display links to specific products on amazon from the product page on my site. All data about the product is retrieved from the database so i have code to select the amazon link row in my database table but i cant get it to display. It says the html isnt a string so i cant echo it, fair enough. I have tried using the following code:

Trying to figure out how to approach this.  I have a form that uses php to pull from a mysql database.  I can get the text submission form to work but I am having trouble with a drop down menu that pulls directly from the DB and submitting what is selected as the basis of the result query.  I am including the two sets of code. one for my search.php and the other for my search_result.php.

What I am trying to do is create a function that will allow me to delete a user from my mysql database.

I have an HTML select that outputs the username(s) using the function get_admin_username()
(The function is posted below)

There is also a HTML form I am using to make this happen.
(Also posted below)

In other words I would select the user I would like to delete, and click submit which will then delete the user from the database.

The problem I am having is I do not know how to pass values from the HTML select, or the form, or even use the submit button value.

I am not sure If I need to create a function to achieve this.
Basically I don't know what to do this at all for that matter.

I thought I might have gotten close but I thought wrong, and failed.
I was told (in the php irc) that my method was way off and wrong but was given no help after that.

I do have an example to show you of how I tried to accomplish this, but being told that I was wrong I did not feel that it was even worth posting it.

I am lost and have been at this for two days now.  I am a noobe but I do understand allot (I think).

Someone, anyone, please help.

I am trying to upload a csv file to a database using php html form however, the results shows none of the data passsing through to the database and it produces 1000's of empty fields

I'm building a personal calendar and I want to display the data into a HTML table.

When I store the events into the database, I assign a slot for each one depending on the hour. I don't want to use more than 6 events daily, hence the for loop. The problem I have is how to I insert the data into the designed <td>? In a particular day I could have only 2 events: event 1 - slot 2, event 2 - slot 6. I want to be able to enter each event into its own cell

I have got a working HTMLarea input form. And using a form, it will input the data from the HTMLarea into a mysql database table.

But, the formatting breaks the MySQL query. How can I parse the information so this wouldnt happen?

1) Customers
2) Software

My customers form adds data to the customers table, but on my form I want to assign one or more pieces of software to that particular customer. How do I link up the tables to work that way? My customers table has a unique id.

I was wondering how does one go about showing results from SELECT query in columns in a html table.

I have a list of products in a table, and would like to show them on the page in 4 columns. I have done many searches on google to try and find the sulution, but the majority of what im finding instead is about displaying a table from phpmyadmin as a table in html.

If its a large operation to do this, I would be very happy if someone could poiint me in the direction of a tutorial maybe.

The whole idea is to have a questionnaire displayed in a HTML table depending upon the question types (T1, T2, T3)
In simple terms: You have a question and below it there are options.
Some questions have check boxes and some have radio buttons and some have text areas.

The problem I'm facing is with the column: qn_answer; and column = qn_type.

I'm unable to make a loop inside a table which is already in a loop.

I’m trying to insert from a multiple option form into MySQL. I’ve tried numerous methods and have had issues such as blank entries being inserted for each specified column, to the last value selected from the form being inserted multiple times, but I never get the desired outcome. Any guidance on how to insert from this type of HTML form? I know that there are issues regarding SQL injection - I'll worry about that later. I'd like to understand how to insert data from this kind of HTML form into MySQL, as i can't seem to find any guidance. There's plenty on how to insert from a standard HTML form i.e. where either every value is selected or left blank, but each entry corresponds to a column in MySQL which either receives a value or NULL. I'm really struggling with when a user can select more than one option from a list.
