PHP - Connection Issue With This Script
I'm using XAMPP and im a major noob. Last nite I was following this tutor and the connection script that was on it didnt work for me.
So today I tried a connection script from another tutor on another site that worked just fine. here is the script that worked I saved it as test.php and went to localhost/test/php and it loaded a page connected to mysql <?php mysql_connect("localhost", "shadowing", "eguitars8") or die(mysql_error()); echo "Connected to MySQL<br />"; ?> The script that didnt work i saved it as connect.php and went to localhost/connect/php and it gave me a page saying "Object not found error "the request url was not found on this server." I understand this script doesnt have a echo on it but shouldnt it still take me to a blank white page instead of a error page. Or is there something wrong with it. I'll happily take a "Let me Google that for you" result link if it's that simple, but I'm just not seeing the problem. Anybody? As always, help is greatly appreciated.
Forgot to mention - I don't get an error on instantiation of the SoapClient() object, just the __soapCall() call. Edited June 18, 2019 by maxxdSets up a mysqli connection script which I retrieve with included. If a user enters the wrong password or username then the connection to the database will be interrupted, and a message will be given about this. I want to do this in a different way. I want the .php connection script to work so that the script lets me or the ser know if it is the password that is incorrect or the username that is not authenticated. This way the user can find out if he / she has entered the wrong password or username. If both are incorrect, notice of this will be given. connection file is a fairly standard script. I have no clue about how to solve this problem. Is it posible at all? Do you know how to do it?

I am running my site off of a hosted Cloud VPS with 200GB of storage, 8192MB Memory, 8TB of transfer, Apache, MySQL, PHP5, and CentOS.
I am afraid the issue doesn't necessarily lay in the configuration of Apache, but the way I have scripted the php on my site, the reason I am reaching out here. My site isn't your average website, it is more of a web-based customer management program. There are currently only 2 pages you can actually access via the url bar (signin.php and index.php). All other content is loaded via AJAX and JQuery processes (.load and $.getScript).
All AJAX requests are pointed toward a single file called functions.php where a _POST parameter contains the function name and any additional _POST data required by the function.

I'm trying to write a better PHP code to create and manage my website.
I would like to start a MVC approach with PHP, using OOP. So I can manage the updates in a better way. For example, to begin my project, I would try with the shipping cost of our products, using a Class without merge the PHP and HTML code.
Something like this:
