PHP - Updating Selected Records

Hello all.

Please I need help to update customer table. I get the texboxes populated with select query no problem.
 I have html page with a search box and when the user enter their first name or last name and click search it will call up the search.php file here is the file:

Hi all!

I have a page that is used to manage multiple user requests. The problem that I am having, is that it is supposed to send an email to the reporter any time their request is updated from this page. This works fine as long as I am doing one at a time, but when I try to update multiple records it doesn't send the emails. (All other functionality is working fine though.)
Here is a summary of what I have so far:
The form field to pass the users' emails

As I said, this all works fine when I'm processing one issue at a time, but not when doing multiples. All other actions in the foreach() are also working. You'll notice that I'm echoing the username and email at the end for debugging purposes. The interesting thing is, that will output all of the correct usernames and emails for each user, it's just that the $email->send; just isn't working. Needless to say, this has become quite a frustrating bug to fix.

I making an web app for teachers to assess their students online. The problems I am currently having are on select only one record is displayed and after update no records are displayed in the form even though it was successfully updated.. The program has two files, index.php and process.php. The problems started when got the class name into the query to search and display the class.

I am very new to PHP and haven't wriiten an update program except in the class I took about 4 years ago using MYSQL. The company I work for is using PDO so I am having a little bit of a learning curve.   I have a table with a checkbox at the end and I want to insert the records from the table into a new file I created called OPPSHEDT SHEDORD           Order Number         14 Char SHEDBORD         BackOrder Number   2 Char SHEDPKD            Picked Cases            9,0 Decimal SHEDSHP            Shipped Cases          9,0 Decimal    I'm just not sure how to write the update program to read the array of records and run through the loop and insert the items checked. I saw some other examples on here and all over the internet but they were using mysql. Hey,
Im needing some help with an update form that I have created using PHP/MySQL. Basically the form is working great (updating records, retrieving records and showing errors) but there is a problem with the errors.

If there are no errors and I edit the existing text input values, the database updates fine. However if I edit the existing text input values and there is an error, the edited input values dont save, they revert back to the values of the database.

I understand why this is happening, its because the text inputs are set to show the values of the database so if i edit the existing values and an error occurs or the page is refreshed, the values revert back to the database values. However id like it so that if any text in the text field have been edited and an error occurs, the text stays to how it is until the user by passes any errors and then the database is updated.

Hopefully this makes sense. I have attached the php page just incase anybody wants to look into it but any help would be much appreciated!

Also, im not looking for someone to just to fix this for me but if someone knows my problem and can guide me in the right direction, that would be great.

Not sure exactly where this problem is coming from, but php seems the most likely candidate to fix it.  My php loads, from a MySQL database, a list of names (students in a class) and a drop-down for each student with attendance options.  Based on the information in the database, the appropriate attendance option is selected (<option selected></option>).  Everything works fine on the initial page load. 

Next, I want to update the status, so I select a new option from the drop-down list and click submit.  The php code updates the database correctly, but the selected option (in HTML) is still the original one.  If I change the option to something different and submit again, I get the previously selected option (that I selected the first time) - in essence, the HTML is always one step behind the database.

I've attached the snippet of relevant code - again, I know that the code works when the page loads initially and that the database is getting updated correctly.  Any help or comments are appreciated.

I am having trouble showing reports for a given date range. Currently if I specify something like 11/03/2010 to 11/05/2010 I get results for all years within that month and day such as I may get results for 11/03/2008 11/03/2009 11/03/2010 11/04/2008 11/04/2009 11/04/2010 11/05/2008 11/05/2009 11/05/2010.

My script is finally working as intended, but I want to add some additional data results.

I am trying to resolve how I can display a count of ONLY the records updated by my query:

I have this loop on a shorturl website i own that selects domains from my website and lists them in a dropdown list where users can select one domain to use as url shortener.

The problem is that when a users selects and entry from the dropdown list this created only the [[[main_url]]] entry from the database table bellow can be used. When someone selectes "coolartistname.site.com the submit button cannot be pressed. in other words it's not adding the SELECTED attribute other than the [[[main_url]]] domain.

Can anyone see on the code bellow why this would happen?

When i echo $shortUrlDomains it's just saying "Array" and $_REQUEST['shortUrlDomain'] shows nothing.

Hi all,

I have a html drop down menu and want to show the initially selected value as the one stored in the mysql database that a member selected.

I have 180+ rows in mysql that a member could have selected and would like to basically do this:

IF (value of option == $row['value'] ) { echo "selected=\"selected\"; }
I could put this in every one of the rows it would be much better to have an if statement. As there are so many values I do not know where to begin.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

I am have a query with a limit of 3 i want it to echo the first two in one li class and the 3 in another li class. This is what i have, but i know the logic is not right, but i cant figure it out
