Can someone please help me here or point me to a relevant tutorial? thanks here is my page: http://www.retroandvintage.co.uk/default.php here is my code: Code: [Select] <?php session_start(); include_once("config.php"); $ebits = ini_get('error_reporting'); error_reporting($ebits ^ E_NOTICE); /* Login script: This script does the following: Checks that the user is NOT already logged in - if they are they are redirected to the members page by the 'checkLoggedIn()' function. Checks if the login form has been submitted - if so, the 'login' and 'password' fields are checked to ensure they are of the correct format and length. If there are any problems here an error is added to the $messages array and then the script executes the 'doIndex()' function - this function basically outputs the main 'index' page for this script - ie the login form. If there are no problems with the previous step, the 'login' and 'password' field data is passed to the 'checkPass' function to check that an entry exists in the 'users' table for that login/password pair. If nothing is returned from the 'checkPass()' function, an error is added to the $messages array and the 'doIndex()' function is called as above. If a row of data is returned from the 'users' table, the data is passed to the 'cleanMemberSession()' function - which initializes session variables and logs the user in. The user is then forwarded to the members page. If the form hasn't yet been submitted, then the 'doIndex()' function is called and the login page is displayed. */ // Check user not logged in already: checkLoggedIn("no"); // Page title: $title="Member Login Page"; // if $submit variable set, login info submitted: if(isset($_POST["submit"])) { // // Check fields were filled in // // login must be between 4 and 15 chars containing alphanumeric chars only: field_validator("rsUser", $_POST["rsUser"], "alphanumeric", 4, 15); // password must be between 4 and 15 chars - any characters can be used: field_validator("rsPass", $_POST["rsPass"], "string", 4, 15); // if there are $messages, errors were found in validating form data // show the index page (where the messages will be displayed): if($messages){ doIndex(); // note we have to explicity 'exit' from the script, otherwise // the lines below will be processed: exit; } // OK if we got this far the form field data was of the right format; // now check the user/pass pair match those stored in the db: /* If checkPass() is successful (ie the login and password are ok), then $row contains an array of data containing the login name and password of the user. If checkPass() is unsuccessful however, $row will simply contain the value 'false' - and so in that case an error message is stored in the $messages array which will be displayed to the user. */ if( !($row = checkPass($_POST["rsUser"], $_POST["rsPass"])) ) { // login/passwd string not correct, create an error message: $messages[]="Incorrect login/password, try again"; } /* If there are error $messages, errors were found in validating form data above. But when I uploaded to my hosting account and tried to view it in my browser, all I get is a blank white screen. No errors, no messages. Just blank screen. I tried different hosts ... same problem ... but the website runs fine on my localhost. what could be the problem ??? I even contacted me hosting company and they told me that PHP server is running fine. Ok, this is rather bizarre. First this code... if($postCount > 0) { $i = 0; while($row = $this->db->fetch_assoc($post_pagination->resource())) { // echo $row['post_message']; $content .= ($i % 2 == 0 ? '<tr class="odd">' : '<tr>'); $content .= '<table>'; $content .= '<tr><td>'.$row['username'].'</td></tr>'; $content .= '<tr>'; $content .= '<td><p>'.$row['post_message'].'</p></td>'; $content .= '</tr>'; $content .= '</table>'; $content .= '</tr>'; $i++; } $content .= '<tr><td>| '.$plinks.' |</td></tr>'; } For whatever reason, if I comment out the line with $row['post_message'] everything works as expected. If I leave that in there like it is now, I get a completely blank white page. I've also tried assigning it to a variable within the loop like... $post_message = $row['post_message']; and that works fine, until I try echo'ing it then the same blank white page result. I've double checked the query, both in PHP and in PHPMyAdmin and it is working correctly. Here's the query code: $post_pagination = new pagination($ppg, "SELECT `posts`.`post_id`, `posts`.`post_message`, `cg_accounts`.`id`, `cg_accounts`.`username` FROM `".$this->dbname."`.`threads`, `".$this->dbname."`.`posts` INNER JOIN `crikeyga_central`.`cg_accounts` ON (`cg_accounts`.`id` = `posts`.`userid`) WHERE `posts`.`thread_id`=`threads`.`thread_id` AND `posts`.`thread_id`='".$thread_id."' ORDER BY `posts`.`post_timestamp` ASC"); I've also double checked the pagination class is working as expected, and it's fine in every other page it's used in. Also $ppg is the correct value(simply holds the current page number). $this->dbname is also correct, and as mentioned above the query works in PHPMyAdmin. And $post_pagination->resource() is holding the correct value and I've checked the database class in particular $this->db->fetch_assoc() and that's working fine. Really not having much luck pinning this one down, no errors are coming up(error reporting(E_ALL)). seems strange to me that $row['username'] comes up fine, but $row['post_message'] results in a white page. The values are also what they should be. Any help is appreciated! Thanks, Ace Hey there, have a small issue at hand. My login script keeps returning a blank page. It does a proper echo if you enter an incorrect username or password, but if you enter correct information is returns only a blank page. Hello - I'm opening my website up to visitors for free, and trying to bypass a login screen to go straight into the data content that was appearing after a user logged in. I have an index.php file that included the following code at the beginning: <?php session_start(); include("database.php"); include("login.php"); include("/vservers/skyranks/db_connect.php"); ?> <?header("Cache-control: private"); ?> <html> I deleted the "include("login.php"); line, and was successful at bypassing the username and login screen. However, the page that is supposed to display the data content is incomplete. In fact, it only displays my company's logo. Any ideas as to why the data content is not showing up? Thank you for any help with this, as my php is quite novice at this point. Regards - Joe Okay, I can't seem to figure out why the form isn't pulling up. Here's what I'm trying to do. Administrator clicks on Add New Item to Inventory, pulling up the shops that are available to add inventory to. (This part appears to be working, because it does list those shops available). Then, the administrator will click on a shop name, opening up a form that will allow them to type in the name of the item they want to add. Instead, it goes to a blank screen, no errors even with error reporting on. adminpanel.php is the main file that houses all these functions. If you're familiar with EZRPG, it's the same basic setup, just with these additions to the list. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Hello all, my first post after joining this very informative site, unfortunatly I was unable to find the answer to my simple yet frastrating dilemma. I am in the process of building a website that will enable users to log-in through a dedicated loginU.php page, I have all of this working but I would like to display an error message on this page saying if the user has entered a wrong username/password, I have the message displaying on a blank white page, but I would like it to be displayed within the container I have created. the validation code is contained within a different login.php file. At the moment I am using an iframe to display the messages, which I know is not the right way to do it, so am asking for a better way to do it. here is what I have so far: loginU.php Code: [Select] <div id = "div-Login"> <form action="login.php" method="POST" target="loginerror"> <center><h2>Login Here</h2> <p> Username: <input type="text" name="username"><p> Password: <input type="password" name="password"><p> <input type="submit" name="submit" value="Login"> </center> <a href="register.html"><pre>need to register? Click Here!</pre></a> </form> <iframe name="loginerror" style="border: 0px; width: 200px; height: 100px; overflow: hidden;" src="login.php"></iframe> </div> login.php Code: [Select] if ($username==$dbusername&&$enc_password==$dbpassword) //if the username & encrpyted password matches the records in the database { if($admin !=0) //if the admin flag is true { $_SESSION['level']='ADMIN';//admin is logging in header ("Location: admin.php"); //the user is an admin, direct to admin page } else header ("Location: index.php"); //user is a customer, direct user to index page $_SESSION['username']=$dbusername; //set the session name to the database record username. } else //$nopass='TRUE'; //header ("location: loginU.php"); echo "Incorrect Password, Please try again"; // if incorrect password } else die ("That username doesn't exist"); // if user doesn't exist } else die ("Please enter a username and password"); //if either field is empty ?> well basically im trying to do that the 'subject says. ive done my homework and had around 10 examples of using curl, but none of them worked in my case. this is the final code i'm using <?php $cookiefile = '/temp/cookies.txt'; #2 ways ive tried doing #$data = array('edit[username]' => 'REMOVED', 'edit[password]' => 'REMOVED', 'edit[submit]' => 'Login'); $data = array('username] => 'REMOVED', 'password' => 'REMOVED', 'submit' => 'Login'); $ch = curl_init(); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, 'http://pokerrpg.com'); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION, true); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_COOKIEFILE, $cookiefile); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_COOKIEJAR, $cookiefile); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POST, true); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, $data); curl_exec($ch); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, 'http://pokerrpg.com/furniture_store.php'); $contents = curl_exec($ch); $headers = curl_getinfo($ch); echo $contents; curl_close($ch); unlink($cookiefile); ?> im not sure about the cookie file, but i just made a txt file to that location. and empty txt file. hope it's fine. the page i'm trying is http://pokerrpg.com, you can even look the source code that both of these fields do exist. when i run it, the output is a login page without logging in, so it does not log in. I have a strange problem. When a guest visits my contact-user.php page, they get a message telling them the must login before viewing the page. After the guest logs in, they view the same page and it tells them they have to login again (keeps on looping). But if they manually refresh that page with the "you must be logged in" message, it recognizes the login and lets them in. How can I get this page to immediately recognize that the user is logged in and not require them to refresh the page manually? Here is my code for contact-user.php <?php session_start(); header("Cache-Control: private, max-age=10800, pre-check=10800"); header("Pragma: private"); header("Expires: " . date(DATE_RFC822,strtotime("+2 day"))); include("connection.php"); mysql_select_db("database"); if (isset($_SESSION['username'])) { ******** MY HTML PAGE CONTENT ******** } else { echo "<meta http-equiv='REFRESH' content='2;url=http://www.mysite.com/login.php'> <center><font color='#EE0000'><p>You must be logged in before negotiating. You will now be redirect to the login page.</p></font></center>"; } ?> Here is my code for login.php script: <?php include("connection.php"); mysql_select_db("database"); session_start(); if(isset($_POST['login'])){ $username = mysql_real_escape_string($_POST['username']); $password = mysql_real_escape_string($_POST['password']); $tUnixTime = time(); $sGMTMySqlString = gmdate("Y-m-d H:i:s", $tUnixTime); if (!$username || !$password) { print "Please fill out all fields."; exit; } $logres = mysql_num_rows(mysql_query("SELECT * FROM members WHERE username = '$username' and password = '$password'")); if ($logres <= 0) { print "Login failed. If you have not already, please signup. Otherwise, check your spelling and login again."; exit; } else { $_SESSION['username'] = $username; if (isset($_SESSION)) { echo'You are now logging in'; mysql_query("UPDATE members SET activity = '$sGMTMySqlString' WHERE username = '$username'"); } else { echo "You are not logged in!"; } echo'<html><head><meta http-equiv="REFRESH" content="1;url=http://www.mysite.com/members/' . $_SESSION['username'] . '/"></head><body></body></html>'; exit; } } ?> Hi, Having completed a site migration this am everything went well aside from issues with logging into and out of our site where two files are used and appear as white pages. When logging into our site, proc_login.php is used and when logging out proc_logout.php is used. Both processes result in a white "blank" page instead of the php files forwarding on. I've no idea about php generally and have been trying my best to find useful and similar information online to attempt to resolve the problem. I am now stuck. The site works perfectly on my local web server, and what is really baffling me is the site also works perfectly on Domain B on the exact same server I'm trying to get the site running under as Domain A. In other words as both Domain A & B are configured on the same host server I'm thinking all the inherited php/apache/mysql settings should be identical (or pretty much thereabouts) and therefore am more confused than ever! I simply don't know where to start therefore in resolving this problem. I've tried looking in the error log file and have also played around with turning on error enabling on those specific php files to try and follow any errors, however the "errors" generated are no different than the ones present on sites where the login/logout process works just fine. I've hopefully attached both files and if anyone could assist in helping me narrow down my search for a solution I'd be very appreciative. Thanks. I am using Magento (Ver 1.9.x) If i try with my localhost success url like, http://192.168.1.65/magento/index.php/checkout/onepage/success/ and return success message with order id. if i try with live, success url like, https://abc.in/payubiz/redirect/success/ success page like blank page. How to solve the issue? Code : https://github.com/ZusZus/Payubiz Edited February 4, 2020 by aveeva |
