Hello, I got this basic code from a website and it is supposed to highlight the current page on the menu, which it does very well. The problem is that I cannot stylize the font, color or size of the type in the current page menu display. No matter what I do, it always stays as the default font. The other buttons on the menu can be stylized but not the current page. Is there a way to do this?

I have a comment section. It is comprised of 3 major files. One file creates the form where you fill in your name and comment. Another file sends your comment to the DB. The third file displays the already existing comments on the page. You have the option to reply to the existing comments on the page. When you click the reply button I would like the comment text box to light up so the user knows its working but I have hit a brick wall.    This is the comment form the user actually types into:

I've got a search page that spits out results that match the term that was input. Within the results, I want to add a span with a yellow background behind just the search term. I'll show my code, then say my problem

my problem is that if somebody searches for the word "bob", then if the term "Bob" was found, when it outputs the $new_result, it shows as "bob" with the yellow background. Searching for "Bob" would give the correct results("Bob" with a yellow background), but basically when the output is given, the case of each letter is displayed as it was typed in the search field.

Hi everyone,

I have a basic calendar that I am trying to change to highlight the current date. I have got the current date highlighted using an if else statement inside a while clause, however, the issue arises when I use the forward/previous links to go to a different month - the same day is highlighted on those months as well.

Here is the code snippet in question (the entire code is below):

This select box below does remember and highlight -one- selection after submitting the form. But when i make it multiple, it doesn't highlight any of the selections after submitting.
Any idea about how to achieve this?

Hi,I used bootstrap to create a webpage and one of the special effects is when you scroll down the page the section you are at is highlighted in the menu. This seems to work ok for all of my sections except the About Me section in which case the next section down (resume) is highlighted instead.   Here is the specific area on the page (http://www.inspired-...p#section-about).   I was wondering if anyone familiar with Boostrap and the Amoeba theme had any suggestions on a fix for this.   thanks in advance.

Now, I need to revised my query statement, because i have separate code for adding attendance if the employee has no attendance or no login or no logout.

I just want to happen is if the employee is already add his attendance in NRS table or should I said if the LOG_IN in attendance table is equal to TIME_IN in NRS table the data will have a color yellow.

For Example:

I have this data in attendance table:

EMP_ID = 012012
LOG_IN = NULL
LOG_OUT = 2011-12-12 13:35:00

I will his attendance in NRS table to have his attendance:

EMP_NO = 012012
TIME_IN = 2011-12-12 05:35:00
TIME_OUT = 2011-12-12 13:35:00



In my above query the LOG_IN has a background color of RED.

I want to happen is if I add his attendance in NRS the EMP_NO, LOG_IN, LOGOUT will have a color to notice that it is already have in NRS.

Because theirs a scenario that the employee has no login or no logout or both.

I know a bit about html and javascript, but almost nothing about php.

Hi, I have some code which displays my blog post in a foreach loop, and I want to add some social sharing code(FB like button, share on Twitter etc.), but the problem is the way I have my code now, creates 3 instances of the sharing buttons, but if you like one post, all three are liked and any thing you do affects all of the blog post. Hi, I need to insert some code into my current form code which will check to see if a username exist and if so will display an echo message. If it does not exist will post the form (assuming everything else is filled in correctly). hey gurus, i am a newbie php coder.. i am learning by example.

what i am trying to do is write a piece of code which will alter 3 tables (user, bonus_credit, bonus_credit_usage)

the table structure that will be used is as follows:

bonus_credit.value

bonus_credit_usage.bonusCode
bonus_credit_usage.usedBy

so lets say, in bonus_credit i have the following
bonusCode = 'facebook' (this is the code they have to type to redeem the bonus
qty = '10' ( number of times the bonusCode can be redeemed, but same person can't redeem it more than once)
value = '5' (this is the  amount of bonus_credit for each qty)

Now, I need to write a code that check to see if the code has been redeemed in the bonus_credit_usage table and if the user.ID exists in this table as bonus_code_usage.usedBy, then give an error that its already been used and if it hasn't been used, then subtract 1 from qty, add ID to usedBy and then add the value to the bonus_credit

This code allallows me to make calculations and display a student's course and linked with it the course the modules in the course and linked with modules are all the sessions. It is able to display what marks each student have got for each module and session.

Now look at code below, it is able to display modules and in those modules the sessions that link to those modules:

What I want to know is how can I do something similar for course so that it picks out the right modules depending on the course it displays. There maybe some code that needs to be added in the function.
