PHP - Php Finding Any Value In Array From A Form

I have build a small form that take the zip code that user enter and if is on my list will redirect to a sub domain craigslist.   I was checking all the zip codes and is pretty hard to know to what bigger city to attribute the  given zip code and for that I was thinking to a simple idea to use, I am not sure how much exact will be but I think will do the trick for the moment.   The zip code range start from  00501 to 99950.    I create a array with the biggest city shown in craigslist and the zip code that correspond.    Now the tricky part, what I will do with the rest of the zip codes and my idea is to measure the distance from one to another zip code and which zip code from the array is closer from given one  to take it.

After checking the zip code with  the ones from array, the smaller score will attribute the sub-domain  correspond from the array. I hope will don  t be the case when will get  the same result from two zip codes:)     Now I am using this rule:

and I was thinking to redirect the user for a page to enter the state and the city. But I wish to make it more precises and not to involved the user so much.     But if there are any other suggestions I will be glad to hear them.

I have a list of IP addresses in an very very very large array in random order.

I am trying to find a way to determine if there are at least 8 IP addresses that are consecutive. I was thinking some sort of for loop after a sort but that seems very time consuming and I'm sure PHP has a better way...

Some searching online revealed this: http://bytes.com/topic/php/answers/12143-flagging-consecutive-numbers-data-set  Is this the way to go?

Hi folks, i have a complex problem (for me anyway) but i am sure with your help this can be sorted.

Problem number 1: I have a simple while loop, but its only showing 4 results when i know there are 5
I am missing something very simple i know:

Problem number 2:

I have a bunch of latitude and longitude codes stored in the database.
On each page there will be a varied amount of these codes used, but with a max of 20.
I need to find the highest number and the lowest number of each lat and long then come up with a code that is in the middle, the idea of this is to center a map.
So for example there will be an array like this:
50.852293  -1.76088
51.252938  -0.76128
51.259583  -0.727168
51.274  -0.837
51.123106  -0.970657

First i need to find the highest number of the first code (51.274) then the lowest number (50.852293)
and then the highest number of the second code (-1.76088) then the lowest number (-0.727168)
Then work out an inbetween code using the highest and lowest codes for each.

Does anyone have a clue how to go about this? I am not the worlds best array technition or mathematician

Does anyone know a way of to find the 'coordinates' of a deeply nested key in a multidimensional array whilst using array_walk_recursive?

I am using array_walk_recursive() to stripslashes() of all values of an array. However I need to be able to get the full coordinates of a key if the said key is of a certain value. The function key() only seems to get the highest level key.

As a test I have the following array which has three occurrences of a key named 'date'. Upon each occurrence I want to be able to know exactly where in the array it is so i can call is directly later.

I found this thread on stackoverflow: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3133054/php-find-key-position-in-multidimensional-array which has a great function for finding the key, however i'm struggling to get my head around how I can apply something like this whilst using array_walk_recursive().

I am looking for a special PHP processor.

I am gonna list what I need from most to least important.

I will have a job application form in which people can apply for a job by filling out long form. The applications needs to be not e-mailed but stored on the server. They should be able to be well databased. I should have an option to backup the database, search through applications, sort through applications. Then I should be able to assign certain applications to certain admins (who would not have access to others). This restriction should be done by category.

I will also have a client sign up sheet. Client information should also be stored on the server not e-mailed. I should be able to search, sort clients too. Clients should also be assigned to lower admins based on certain criteria.

It would be nice to download applications as pfs and databases as xls or something like that.

Both applicant and client should be able to login and change their information.

An admin can change the status of an applicant to an employee/contractor. Then an admin can assign an employee to multiple clients.

And then in best case scenario employee can bill client for particular services.

I am willing to pay for a script that is kind of similar to this. What is the closest PHP script to this?

hi i am trying to make a payroll calculator script that takes employee info, calculates pay, displays submitted info in a table, stores info in an array, and updates the array when new info is submitted. i have most of these accomplished, i am having trouble with the "store into an array, and update the array when new info is submitted" parts of the project. i am still not very fluent in php so there may be easier ways to achieve what i have so far. any pointers would be a great help, this part has got me stumped.

I've created a quotation form and some of the values are passed in an array (i've used jQuery to clone the form for necessary fields).

Have the following form that takes data from the DB when u click on the text the left input increments when u click on it the same input decrement its value.

Have 2 main issues now:

1- the value of the input fields needs to be set after the post is submitted and having issue with that since it's an array.

2-after the submit the post is saved in an array (the out is showing in the attched image), need to choose each related item , price and quantity like product 1 price 1 quantity 1 so i can update the db later on.

What i need is , when the user in the form, clicks on the checked box, it sends the information to 'visits.php' and it writes to the text file, increasing the selected value by one
