PHP - Working With Functions/array's/max/min/matching

I have a file I'm trying to split up to separate some HTML from PHP code. Everything works fine when all of the code is together but when I split it into two files the two call back functions in the html form will not work. No errors and when I view the page source my file is included with the form. Any help would be appreciated.
Here is the file that has the include statement.

As the title suggests I am unsure on how to first run a query which stores values into an array. I then need to run a function multiple times but use the array within the function. How is this possible? I have had no luck figuring it out yet.

1. RUN QUERY
2. BUILD ARRAY USING QUERY RESULTS
3. RUN FUNCTION MULTIPLE TIMES
4. WITHIN FUNCTION I NEED TO USE ARRAY

hi very good, hi very good, I have a label on a form select and I get that value with $ _POST like this: $ _POST like this:
$ gallery = array ($ _POST ['gallery']);
and that value will put it he
$ image = $ sitemap-> gallery [$ gallery] -> addChild ('image');
the problem is giving me error is as follows:
Fatal error: Call to a member function addChild () on a non-object in
I do not understand is that if I put a value directly asin me do it like so:
 $ gallery = 0;
$ Image = $ sitemap-> gallery [$ gallery] -> addChild ('image');
I do well, what happens is that I want the user to choose,

 I am a little bit new to php, and I am learning about array functions. I just wanted to know the difference between implode and explode in arrays, and how each of them would be used? Thank you!

I have a script I am putting together that simulate a cricket game. The only issue is, that there are a huge number of functions because there doesn't seem to be any other way to do this properly. As well as this, there a while() loop and all this seems to be leading to the page reaching a max 30 second timeout when generating the result.

My code is attached below, it is quite messy at the moment because i've just be working on it, but I was wondering if anyone has any solutions of how I can speed this up or change to prevent a timeout:

I am trying to pass a variable of ids into an array, but for some reason its not counting each as an individual instead its lumping all in as one.

If I change it to this it works:

Here is the code I am using. Everything works except some of the listing images don't match up to the names.
I think when certain names don't have pictures it just moves up the images to the next person. I need to somehow associate the listingid column from listimages table with the id column from the listings table. The mainimage column
tells what image of the group of images is default for that name. 1 being the default 0 not the default

I am in the procress of creating discussion system however I am a bit puzzled about the best way to go about it.

I am starting the discussion by creating an ID number and then match the answer to the initial ID number.  However, I dont know whether if is best to put the responses into a different database.

I'm a bit puzzled how ID matching systems works.

Lets say:

Question 1 =    ID1
Question 2 =    ID2
Question 3 =    ID3
Question 1 Answer 1    =   ID4   (How is this matched to ID1)
Question 2 Answer 1    =   ID5   (How is this matched to ID2)

is this based on preg_match?

I am reading hundreds of CSVs to import into a DB.

Some of the column names contain the same data but have different names across all the files.

For example, one file will say Phone where the other says EveningPhone...both contain the same data, different names.

I am trying to rename everything to EveningPhone because I had most of the code done when i realized there were different header names in different files.  Too lazy to replace all i guess..

I am creating an assoc array to match the data then off to the db it goes..

The problem is I cannot get the keys to rename to one convention.   Here is the function where it happens:

I am using this file with joomla. The database connection is code at the top of the php. I am getting the following error and I don't know why.

Within the HTML it has been working fine, as the "echo $tdata_consent Variable is within the main curly brackets. As soon as I move the variable outside of the brackets I only get 1 item from the array rather than all of the items.

Hi brains... I must be missing some core concept here that I hope someone can set me straight on..

I have a database query that returns say 8 rows. Here's how I know...

So why in the world does this not work??? What is the flaw in my logic?

The only echo output of the foreach function is "SN is 12345" Not the 8 rows of content that I would expect. isn't this how foreach loops should work? Why do I not see "SN is 12345 SN is 23456 SN is 34567 etc..."????? I'm confused.
