PHP - Mp3 Radio In Php

Hello,
I had 3 radio buttons with the same name, well, I had created 3 text box that are next to those 3 radio buttons.
When I click save to the form, I need to know which radio button had been pressed, so that I can detect & retrieve its value.

I have made a form which includes text fields and radio buttons.
The user completes the fields and makes their selections. Once the form is submit, they are then directed to a php file which displays their entries and selections.

Atm I can't quite work out how to post their radio button selections.

Here is the form:

This code will only display the first radio button atm. How do I fix this?

Hi,

I have 2 radio button's within a table and need to pass this array.

All other rows within my table can be sent as array's and captured using $_POST['field_name'][$ROW 1 value etc].

However for radio buttons this doesn't work.

As an example, a standard textbox I can send an array using the following:

 echo "<td width='33%'><input type='Textbox' width='100%' id='test' name='test[]' value='" .$row['test']. "'></td>";
 
I can then capture it using:

$test = $_POST['test'][$iLine];

This works, no problem, however for radio buttons, I can't use a static array name, as presumably it dumps all rows into the array, if I do this, only the last row has a checked button, hence I need to use the following (where $checked includes the logic to decide whether the button should be checked or not, this works correctly):

echo "<input type='radio' name='".$row['venue_id']."[]' value='1'".$checked."/>P1"
echo "<input type='radio' name='".$row['venue_id']."[]' value='0'".$checked2." />P2";

I tried using the following:

var_dump($_POST[$row]['game_id'][$iLine]);

But this just returns a null value.

Any ideas?

I have a form on my web site for rating movies that uses radios. I would like to move away from that to a line of images where a user can click on there rating depending on which number down the line they click. I'm not sure if this should be done making the image into a submit  or just a link.

Here is what I have right now with the radios that works, this does feed into jquery so the user dosent have to leave the page. Any pointers and opinions are welcome. Thank you.

I have a form that contains radio buttons and when it is submitted the content of the form are added to a database.  I was wondering how you get the values of radio boxes when submitting the form.  I have the following radio buttons and when submitting I use "$_POST['article_type']" but this doesn't seem to work.  Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure how to use foreach to send multiple form information to the database.

I have a group of 3 buttons for three different options and this is in a php while loop,and there could be anywhere from 1 to 30 of these forms that ineed to send the data to the database at the same time.
each one of these groups are next to a user to mark if they were present, tardy, or absent.
I need it to get the id of the user for each one of these and send the value to the database as well.

Hi guys...I need some help in matching data from results of checkboxs and radio buttons.

My Intentions:

There are 3 radio buttons and 8 check boxes. Users can select any one but cannot don't select at all. I separate the calss and categories because for classes, users can only select 1 option whereas for categories users can select many.
For example, User select class 1 but do not select anything else and click submit...the system will then retrieve that he selected and check the data base if he have the pre requisites to allow him to go through.

Lets say if user do not select any class, but select CAT 3PG, system will check if user have the pre-requisites before proceeding to next step.

Any one can help me or give me hints?? most importantly is i do not know how to retreieve the values selected from the form.

Is it possible to do it using php or must i hunt for javascript's script??

Hey guys im having a issue with getting a radio group check box to work. Not sure what im doing wrong this is giving me a fatal error. Wanting to make it where only one box can be checked at a time. and when the attack from button is hit it assigns the value to $defender_planet

I have a group of 4 radio buttons. my mysql database knows which one the user selected previously when they stored some information. I now wish to display the same buttons but have radio button checked that the user chose before. I know this can be done but having one of those mind melt moments where I cannot think of the solution

Hi,

I have the below code which pulls pet types from the database, and when you pick the particular type by selecting a radio button amd press 'Select Pet Type' you are brought to a page listing all examples of that pet. Is there any way of changing this so the pet types are listed as hyperlinks instead and when you click each particular hyperlink you are brought to a page where that pet type is listed?
