PHP - Highlighting Menu For The Current Page

Hi everyone,

I have a basic calendar that I am trying to change to highlight the current date. I have got the current date highlighted using an if else statement inside a while clause, however, the issue arises when I use the forward/previous links to go to a different month - the same day is highlighted on those months as well.

Here is the code snippet in question (the entire code is below):

My question is how do I get this calendar to display the current date, just on the current month. I assume there is something I am missing when it comes to handling the date(s) correctly, but what?

Hi all, my first post here (except my intro post earlier today).

I looked for this in the Code Snippet section and didn't see it, and honestly I'm very much a noob at this (for now, at least) so I'm not quite sure what I'd look for anyway. I've got a decent grasp on HTML and CSS and very little PHP.

So here's what I need help with:  I wrote a simple PHP include so that all my main pages (including the index file) would all use the same file (navtabs.php) for their navigation tabs. But how do I make the code in navtabs.php dynamic for which button should be highlighted on the proper page?

Where class="current" is the highlighting attribute.  All my pages using the same include of this code show the Home tab highlighted?

Hi,I used bootstrap to create a webpage and one of the special effects is when you scroll down the page the section you are at is highlighted in the menu. This seems to work ok for all of my sections except the About Me section in which case the next section down (resume) is highlighted instead.   Here is the specific area on the page (http://www.inspired-...p#section-about).   I was wondering if anyone familiar with Boostrap and the Amoeba theme had any suggestions on a fix for this.   thanks in advance.

Hi, I have some code that I think worked at one point, but now it doesn't. I have a side navigation menu which I have set as an include. I want to change CSS styling to a current state to whatever page you are current on. For instance the portfolio link would look like this.

Both the page I am trying to set this on and my includes are in separate directories, so I am not sure if that is messing things up, but the id="current is not being set with what I currently have as my code.
