PHP - Click On Record To Open Another Page With Full Details
Hello there,
I'm trying to make when you click on a record, it opens another page with full details about this record the code for it is Code: [Select] <td><a href=\"user.php?id=".$row['id']."\">".$row['id']."</a></td> and it's working right, but when it opens the other page, no records is shown about the user with that ID So I figure the problem that I need to pass $row['id'] to my second page and make it search for it in the database how can I do that? here is the code from the second page (details of the record) Code: [Select] $dbObj = new DB(); $result = mysql_query("select * from users where id = '$userID'"); return $result; $row = @mysql_fetch_array($result); echo "<table width=98%>"; echo "<tr>"; echo "<td valign=\"top\" width=\"120px\">"; $rowid = $row['id']; echo "<td valign=\"top\">"; echo "<table> <tr> <td valign=\"top\" class=\"searchtitle\"> ".$row['fname']. ' ' .$row['mname']. ' ' .$row['lname']." </td> </tr> <tr> <td class=\"text\" valign=\"top\"> ".$row['mobile']." </td> </tr> <tr> <td> <a href=\"user.php?id=".$row['recruiterid']."\" class=\"link\">".$row['recruiterid']."</a> </td> </tr> </table>"; echo "</td>"; echo "</tr>"; echo "</table>"; Similar TutorialsHi, I have successfully implemented a master details page with the results aligned in columns linking to a details page. I wish to maintain the recordID passed from the master details page and make the dynamic text, which reads Shade A tree that is capable of..... in the attached screen shot a link to another details page referencing the same recordID. The detailspage2.php would look the same as the screenshot except the Shade text and description below will be highlighted, which I can do, there will be a new image and a new image description. All other dynmaic elements on the page will remain the same. I tried to simply save as my detailspage.php to detailspage2.php and create a link to detailspage2.php. It linked to detailspage2.php but none of the record info showed up in their respective table cells. I have all the names desc's, images, etc setup in a table in my database. Please let me know what code and other info you need to help me out with this procedure. Thanks. Hi Everyone. i have a page which list all records. i then have several detail pages which i need to link via the id number. for ex. records: id number name 1 john smith 2 peter parker the detail page is layout out like so: View details page 1 | view details page 2 | view details page 3 Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Hey guys, I can't wrap my head around how to make this work right... I have three tables: Code: [Select] CREATE TABLE `games` ( `g_id` int(11) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT, `name` varchar(150) DEFAULT NULL, PRIMARY KEY (`g_id`)); CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS `game_player` ( `r_id` int(11) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT, `p_id` int(11) DEFAULT NULL, `g_id` int(11) DEFAULT NULL, `bool` int(1) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0', PRIMARY KEY (`r_id`)); CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS `players` ( `p_id` int(11) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT, `playerid` varchar(150) NOT NULL, PRIMARY KEY (`p_id`), UNIQUE KEY `playerid` (`playerid`)); The players table is my list of users, and they're tied to the list of games via the game_player table. So here's my issue... I'm trying to show the full list of games, and then check mark each record where the player does play it. This is what I have so far - it shows all the games, but it's not checking the boxes. Code: [Select] $result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM games") or die(mysql_error()); while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)) { $newquery = "SELECT * FROM game_player, players WHERE game_player.p_id = players.p_id AND game_player.g_id = ".$row['g_id']. " AND players.playerid = {$userid}"; $query = mysql_query($newquery) or die(mysql_error()); if($query['bool'] == 1) { $set_checked = " CHECKED"; } else{ $set_checked = ""; } echo "<input type=\"checkbox\" name=\"box1\" value=\"".$query['g_id']."\"" . $set_checked . "/>".$row['name']."<br />\n"; } Hello, I have to do repetative search tasks over 3 websites. To make mylife easier (and for the fun of programming this), i'm trying to create the below: [text input box] link1 (checkbox) link2 (checkbox) link3 (checkbox) [submit button] I would like each checkbox to represent a custom URL, which (when checked) will then enter the search 'term' from the input textbox and open the generated URL in a new window. For example my 3 URLS will look like the below. I need to replace the search term ('my search term' in this example) and add the "+" symbol for each word. h.ttp://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&tbs=nws:1,sbd:1&q=my+search+term&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai= h.ttp://search.ft.com/search?ftsearchType=type_news&sortBy=gadatetimearticle&queryText=my+search+term h.ttp://www.reuters.com/search?blob=my+search+term Would anyone have some code snippets in order to get me started? I'm new to PHP and custom forms, but can 'read' code rather well as I have previous coding experiences. Any help at all would be hugely appreciated! Hello. I just created a product gallery containing thumbnails of items that I will be selling. When a user click on on of the thumbnails, I want a product details page to appear with more details about the chosen product Could use some feedback if I am going about things the right way... Step 1: User goes to my gallery located he www.mysite.com/store/product-gallery.php Step 2: System displays a page of thumbnails representing items that I am selling. Step 3: User click on a given thumbnail which is a hyperlink to: www.mysite.com/store/products/4571 Step 4: System rewrites the URL as such: www.mysite.com/store/products.php?sku=4571 Step 5: System queries MySQL and retrieves record for sku 4571 Step 6: System displays product details for the chosen item in Step 3 which is sku 4571
How does that sound?
Hi, I would like to display my master details page links to the details pages in three columns rather than a single column. Below is the do-while code I have thus far, and I am stuck. Could someone please mock up this code quick, because I know it is a simple syntax error somewhere. <?php do { echo "<table border='0'>"; for ($y=1; ; $y++) { echo "<tr>"; for ($x=1; $x<=3; $x++) { echo "<td align='left'><a href="plantdetails.php?recordID=echo $row_rsBotanicalA['PlantID'];">; echo $row_rsBotanicalA['BotanicalName']; </a></td>" } echo "</tr>"; } } while ($row_rsBotanicalA = mysql_fetch_assoc($rsBotanicalA)); echo "</table>"; ?> Hi, I am stuck. I have used dreamweaver to create a master details page with links to the details page successfully, but I would like to display the master details page results in 3 columns rather than the 1 column that dreamweaver defaults. As the site becomes richer the content will increase yielding many results, therfore the content displayed in a single column will require the users to scroll way down the page. So, as it is now the results display as follows: Plant1 Plant2 Plant3 Plant4 Plant5 Plant6 Plant7 Plant8 Plant9 etc... I would like them to display as follows: Plant1 Plant4 Plant7 Plant2 Plant5 Plant8 Plant3 Plant6 Plant9 Here is my code thus far: <?php require_once('Connections/connGND.php'); ?> <?php if (!function_exists("GetSQLValueString")) { function GetSQLValueString($theValue, $theType, $theDefinedValue = "", $theNotDefinedValue = "") { if (PHP_VERSION < 6) { $theValue = get_magic_quotes_gpc() ? stripslashes($theValue) : $theValue; } $theValue = function_exists("mysql_real_escape_string") ? mysql_real_escape_string($theValue) : mysql_escape_string($theValue); switch ($theType) { case "text": $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? "'" . $theValue . "'" : "NULL"; break; case "long": case "int": $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? intval($theValue) : "NULL"; break; case "double": $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? doubleval($theValue) : "NULL"; break; case "date": $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? "'" . $theValue . "'" : "NULL"; break; case "defined": $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? $theDefinedValue : $theNotDefinedValue; break; } return $theValue; } } mysql_select_db($database_connGND, $connGND); $query_rsBotanicalA = "SELECT * FROM plants WHERE CatIDB = 'A'"; $rsBotanicalA = mysql_query($query_rsBotanicalA, $connGND) or die(mysql_error()); $row_rsBotanicalA = mysql_fetch_assoc($rsBotanicalA); $totalRows_rsBotanicalA = mysql_num_rows($rsBotanicalA); ?> <table border="0" align="left"> <?php do { ?> <tr> <td align="left"><a href="plantdetails.php?recordID=<?php echo $row_rsBotanicalA['PlantID']; ?>"> <?php echo $row_rsBotanicalA['BotanicalName']; ?> </a></td> </tr> <?php } while ($row_rsBotanicalA = mysql_fetch_assoc($rsBotanicalA)); ?> </table> Could someone help me to write this code, as I have been unsuccessful maintaining the links. I have been able get the results to display in the columsn as I would like, but I haven't been able to figure it out while maintaining the links! Thanks. You: As a PHP expert, you find the prospect of building yet another brochure-ware website distressing; you want to get your hands dirty building an advanced, MVC based application in a fun and supportive environment where you will be constantly challenged, always learning and delivering a product used by millions of people every day.
Our company was founded and is managed by developers who wrote the original software the company was built upon; the technical team are the core of our business. As a member of that team, it will be you who decides upon the on-going development of our technical stack as well as the product itself. You will of course have complete control over your workstation.
Our stack:
Qualifications:
A passion for programming, solving problems and building software customers love.
Experience building web-based applications as distinct from brochure-ware websites.
An expert in OOP/MVC/ORM programming techniques and PHP (v5.3+) frameworks. We happen to use Symfony2 but any relevant experience is fine.
You can bend MySQL to your will.
Solid front-end development experience with XHTML, CSS, and Javascript. Our stack includes AngularJS, CoffeeScript, jQuery and LESS.
An appreciation for a beautiful GUI and excellent user experience.
Expectation of a fast moving, agile environment. We ship code to customers daily – we’d expect you contribute from day 1.
You can validate your skills for example with source code samples, a github profile, contributions to an open source project, developer blog, stackoverflow answers etc.
What you will do:
Design (with help) and develop new channels for our software. In particular we are looking at apps using twilio (for voice/sms), facebook and twitter as well as a web based screensharing tool.
Integrate our software into other 3rd party applications. This could both be via APIs (salesforce, jira, 37signals) or through digging directly into the source code (sugarCRM, xenforo etc).
Continue improve and refine our existing channels and product. We are never satisfied and always looking for that small improvement, refactor or redesign that can increase usability, speed and functionality for our customers.
Work on our backend systems including internal developer tools and deployment processes, our SaaS application stack or the tools we have to manage our business.
Work on our mobile apps, built using our API / HTML5 and PhoneGap
About us:
Our principle product is DeskPRO, the helpdesk software platform. We make it easy for organisations (companies – large and small, charities, public sector organisations) to communicate with their users via email, twitter, facebook, SMS, web forms, live chat (text and voice) as well as providing publishing self-help tools, sales management, co-working tools and community based question and answers. DeskPRO is a platform where customers install the helpdesk applications they need to manage their business.
We sell this software to a range of organisations including large companies (e.g. Tumblr, Xerox, T-mobile, Fujitsu, Valve Software and AT&T) universities and the public sector all the way through to small family businesses. We have a dual license model; selling licenses to software installed on our clients’ servers (we don’t encrypt the code – so your code will get read!) and offering a fully managed SaaS solution. Millions of people use our software every day and a lot of agents spend their whole working day using it constantly.
What we offer:
Competitive salary based upon experience.
Friendly work environment at the Innovation Warehouse in Farringdon: http://theiw.org/.
30" monitor and control over your workstation setup. No corporate bureaucracy here.
A mixture of autonomy over your role and real responsibilities to the team and business.
Varied work. The DeskPRO product is large with lots of modules and technologies.
Review our source code before even applying; just ask and we will add you to our github account. Never accept a job until you have seen the code you will be working with.
We plan to have a lot of fun on this journey – please bring a sense of humour.
Apply:
Please send your CV and either a link to your online profile, github account or some sample source code to: jobs@deskpro.com
Hi, Im a little confused on how to go about setting up a news section. i.e On my homepage i got it displaying Title: Postedby: brief: i would like a read more button... So it will go around index.php?news=$idfullstory (something like that) and on that page it will automatically show the full story etc.. Just a bit confused, so can someone break it down or even better point me in the right direction please? Thanks, J Hello all. I am using an API from jambase.com to display events on a php page. Everything works great, the xml file is read and the data is displayed on the page as it should. My only problem is that when the data is displayed there is always a blank area where the first record of data should go. Any ideas how to get rid of this? http://www.wddclients.com/mag33/events_search.php (artist search field not enabled yet) Hopefully this is something pretty minor but if anyone wants to see specific code I can supply that. Thanks so much for all help! Can someoneplease help, I need to setup an error page like IF Username and Password are wrong then show an error also if there is no username or password in the fields and I just click LOGIN, I get a blank page?! Can someone please help me here or point me to a relevant tutorial? thanks here is my page: http://www.retroandvintage.co.uk/default.php here is my code: Code: [Select] <?php session_start(); include_once("config.php"); $ebits = ini_get('error_reporting'); error_reporting($ebits ^ E_NOTICE); /* Login script: This script does the following: Checks that the user is NOT already logged in - if they are they are redirected to the members page by the 'checkLoggedIn()' function. Checks if the login form has been submitted - if so, the 'login' and 'password' fields are checked to ensure they are of the correct format and length. If there are any problems here an error is added to the $messages array and then the script executes the 'doIndex()' function - this function basically outputs the main 'index' page for this script - ie the login form. If there are no problems with the previous step, the 'login' and 'password' field data is passed to the 'checkPass' function to check that an entry exists in the 'users' table for that login/password pair. If nothing is returned from the 'checkPass()' function, an error is added to the $messages array and the 'doIndex()' function is called as above. If a row of data is returned from the 'users' table, the data is passed to the 'cleanMemberSession()' function - which initializes session variables and logs the user in. The user is then forwarded to the members page. If the form hasn't yet been submitted, then the 'doIndex()' function is called and the login page is displayed. */ // Check user not logged in already: checkLoggedIn("no"); // Page title: $title="Member Login Page"; // if $submit variable set, login info submitted: if(isset($_POST["submit"])) { // // Check fields were filled in // // login must be between 4 and 15 chars containing alphanumeric chars only: field_validator("rsUser", $_POST["rsUser"], "alphanumeric", 4, 15); // password must be between 4 and 15 chars - any characters can be used: field_validator("rsPass", $_POST["rsPass"], "string", 4, 15); // if there are $messages, errors were found in validating form data // show the index page (where the messages will be displayed): if($messages){ doIndex(); // note we have to explicity 'exit' from the script, otherwise // the lines below will be processed: exit; } // OK if we got this far the form field data was of the right format; // now check the user/pass pair match those stored in the db: /* If checkPass() is successful (ie the login and password are ok), then $row contains an array of data containing the login name and password of the user. If checkPass() is unsuccessful however, $row will simply contain the value 'false' - and so in that case an error message is stored in the $messages array which will be displayed to the user. */ if( !($row = checkPass($_POST["rsUser"], $_POST["rsPass"])) ) { // login/passwd string not correct, create an error message: $messages[]="Incorrect login/password, try again"; } /* If there are error $messages, errors were found in validating form data above. Call the 'doIndex()' function (which displays the login form) and exit. */ if($messages){ doIndex(); exit; } /* If we got to this point, there were no errors - start a session using the info returned from the db: */ cleanMemberSession($row["rsUser"], $row["rsPass"]); // and finally forward user to members page (populating the session id in the URL): header("Location: main.php"); } else { // The login form wasn't filled out yet, display the login form for the user to fill in: doIndex(); } /* This function displays the default 'index' page for this script. This consists of just a simple login form for the user to submit their username and password. */ function doIndex() { /* Import the global $messages array. If any errors were detected above, they will be stored in the $messages array: */ global $messages; /* also import the $title for the page - note you can normally just declare all globals on one line - ie: global $messages, $title; */ global $title; } // drop out of PHP mode to display the plain HTML: ?> <!doctype html> <html> <head> <title>List of Pubs and Bars in the UK</title> <meta name="description" content="Pubs and bars in the UK, nightlife for food and drink" /> <meta name="keywords" content="Pubs, bars, List, uk, nightlife, drinking, drinks, beer, lager, food" /> <meta name="Content-Language" content="en-gb" /> <meta name="robots" content="FOLLOW,INDEX" /> <meta name="revisit-after" content="2 days" /> <meta name="copyright" content="jbiddulph.com" /> <meta name="author" content="John Biddulph - Professional web site design and development in the south of england mainly worthing and brighton" /> <meta name="distribution" content="Global" /> <meta name="resource-type" content="document" /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/reset.css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/ui-lightness/jquery-ui-1.8.6.custom.css" title="default" /> <link rel="alternate stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/south-street/jquery-ui-1.8.6.custom.css" title="1" /> <link rel="alternate stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/redmond/jquery-ui-1.8.6.custom.css" title="2" /> <script type="text/javascript" src="js/stylechanger.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery-1.4.2.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery-ui-1.8.6.custom.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> $(function(){ // Accordion $("#accordion").accordion({ header: "h3" }); // Tabs $('#tabs').tabs(); // Dialog $('#dialog').dialog({ autoOpen: false, width: 600, buttons: { "Ok": function() { $(this).dialog("close"); }, "Cancel": function() { $(this).dialog("close"); } } }); // Dialog Link $('#dialog_link').click(function(){ $('#dialog').dialog('open'); return false; }); // Datepicker $('#datepicker').datepicker({ inline: true }); //hover states on the static widgets $('#dialog_link, ul#icons li').hover( function() { $(this).addClass('ui-state-hover'); }, function() { $(this).removeClass('ui-state-hover'); } ); }); </script> <script type="text/javascript"> function lookup(inputString) { if(inputString.length == 0) { // Hide the suggestion box. $('#suggestions').hide(); } else { $.post("rpc.php", {queryString: ""+inputString+""}, function(data){ if(data.length >0) { $('#suggestions').show(); $('#autoSuggestionsList').html(data); } }); } } // lookup function fill(thisValue) { $('#inputString').val(thisValue); setTimeout("$('#suggestions').hide();", 200); } </script> </head> <body> <?php if($messages) { displayErrors($messages); }?> <header> <div id="title"> <h1>My Pub Space <a href="#" onClick="setActiveStyleSheet('default'); return false;"><img src="images/0.gif" width="15" height="15" border="0" alt="css style" /></a> <a href="#" onClick="setActiveStyleSheet('1'); return false;"><img src="images/1.gif" width="15" height="15" border="0" alt="css style" /></a> <a href="#" onClick="setActiveStyleSheet('2'); return false;"><img src="images/2.gif" width="15" height="15" border="0" alt="css style" /></a> <span> <form method="post" class="textbox" action="search.php"> Town/City: <input type="text" size="26" class="searchbox" value="" name="rsTown" id="inputString" onKeyUp="lookup(this.value);" onBlur="fill();" /> <div class="suggestionsBox" id="suggestions" style="display: none;"> <img src="images/upArrow.png" style="position: relative; top: -36px; left: 105px; z-index:1;" alt="upArrow" /> <div class="suggestionList" id="autoSuggestionsList"> </div> </div> <input type="image" src="images/go.png" height="30" with="30" value="GO" /> </form> </span> </h1> </div> </header> <nav> <ul> <li class="selected"><a href="default.php">Home</a></li> <li><a href="#">Pubs</a></li> <li><a href="#">Members</a></li> <li><a href="#">Events</a></li> <li><a href="register.php">Register</a></li> </ul> </nav> <section id="intro"> <header> <h2>Your social guide to going down the pub, online!</h2> </header> <p>Stuck in town with nowhere to go? For example, imagine my user has a list of messages displayed on a web page, and the user filters that list to display all messages with the title "Test", and let's say that returns 12 records. He then clicks on record 1 to read that message. Once he is done reading it, he then wants to read msg 2, and then msg 3 etc. He could hit the Back button in his browser and click on the next record from the list, but it would be more useful to just click on a link that says "Next" which displays the next message in the filtered list of messages (without having to go back to the list). A lot of web sites do this sort of thing, but what is the best way to do it? Do you have to run the original query again each time a new message is loaded, so you know which message is next, or can you somehow store the query to save the server from having to run the same query over and over again? If a user is viewing a list of pictures for example, they could be flicking through the pictures quite quickly, and I would not like to have the server running the same query over and over again every few seconds when it doesn't need to. Advice? (Thanks.) Here is my add driver button Hi all . I have a script , which will display the records from sql . If user wish to view more details of the record , they can click view . Code: [Select] echo "<td>$objResult[Message] </td>"; echo "<td>$objResult[mylocaltime] </td>"; echo '<td><a href="historydetails.php?id=' . $objResult[Groupnumber] . '">View</a></td>'; Then it will link to a page which will display more details according to the Groupnumber . Which will display 2 records per page . Code: [Select] <? $groupnumber = $_GET['id']; $strSQL = "SELECT * FROM esp WHERE Groupnumber='$groupnumber'"; $objQuery = mysql_query($strSQL) or die ("Error Query [".$strSQL."]"); $Num_Rows = mysql_num_rows($objQuery); $Per_Page = 2; // Per Page $Page = $_GET["Page"]; if(!$_GET["Page"]) { $Page=1; } $Prev_Page = $Page-1; $Next_Page = $Page+1; $Page_Start = (($Per_Page*$Page)-$Per_Page); if($Num_Rows<=$Per_Page) { $Num_Pages =1; } else if(($Num_Rows % $Per_Page)==0) { $Num_Pages =($Num_Rows/$Per_Page) ; } else { $Num_Pages =($Num_Rows/$Per_Page)+1; $Num_Pages = (int)$Num_Pages; } $strSQL .=" order by id DESC LIMIT $Page_Start , $Per_Page"; $objQuery = mysql_query($strSQL); ?> But when I click next to view the third record , then the table will become blank . Is it because when I click to next page , the $groupnumber is no longer getting the data from $_GET['id'] ? Or is there any other problem? Thanks for every reply . I want to add a note field and a checkbox to my list/grid page and save this information to a json file using uomptrucknumber as the key. The note information will be information for the whole truck not by order. The check box will let them know that the truck is ready to have paper work printed. I have not add the note field or checkbox because I did not want to start off wrong. echo "<table>"; echo "<tr style='background:#82fbfd'>"; echo "<th>ShipDate</th>"; echo "<th>ShipMeth</th>"; echo "<th>Name</th>"; echo "<th>LoadID</th>"; echo "<th>Drop</th>"; echo "<th>OrderID</th>"; echo "<th>Status</th>"; echo "<th>FGI</th>"; echo "<th>FGM</th>"; echo "<th>TotalBox</th>"; echo "<th>Cubes</th>"; echo "<th>Total</th>"; echo "<th>Notes \n</th>"; //echo "<table>"; echo "<tr style='background:#82fbfd'>"; $result =odbc_exec($connect,$sql); if(!$result){ exit("Error in SQL"); } function ShowDetail($row){ if($row['ompclosed']==-1){ $theColor="#AAF0D2"; }else{ $theColor="#FFFFFF"; } if($row['ompclosed']==0 && $row['date'] < date("m/d/Y")) { $theColor="#FF0000"; } echo "<tr style='background-color :$theColor'><td>" .$row['date'] ."</td>"; echo "<td>" .$row['ompshippingmethodid'] ."</td>"; echo "<td style='text-align:left'>" .$row['cmoname'] ."</td>"; echo "<td>" .$row['uomptrucknumber'] ."</td>"; echo "<td>" .$row['uompdropsequence'] ."</td>"; echo "<td>" .$row['ompsalesorderid'] ."</td>"; echo "<td>" .$row['ompclosed'] ."</td>"; echo "<td>" .round($row['FGIqty'],0) ."</td>"; echo "<td>" .round($row['FGMqty'],0) ."</td>"; echo "<td>" .round($row['uomptotalboxcount'],0) ."</td>"; echo "<td>" . number_format($row['uompvolumetotal'],2) ."</td>"; echo "<td>" . number_format($row['ompordertotalbase'],2) ."</td>"; echo "<td style='text-align:left'>" .$row['ompordercommentstext'] ."</td></tr>" ; } //**************************************************************** while ($row = odbc_fetch_array($result)) { if($row['ompclosed']==-1){ $theColor="#AAF0D2"; }else{ $theColor="#FFFFFF"; } if($row['ompclosed']==0 && $row['date'] < $today) { $theColor="#FF0000"; } if($row['uomptrucknumber'] != $loadid) { if ($loadid !== 0) { echo "<tr style='background:#eee'> <td colspan='7'>TOTAL</td> <td>$TotalFGI</td> <td>$TotalFGM</td> <td> </td> <td> </td> <td>$loadTotal</td> </tr>"; } $TotalFGI=0; $TotalFGM=0; $loadTotal=0; } ShowDetail($row); $loadid = $row['uomptrucknumber']; $TotalFGI+=round($row['FGIqty'],0); $TotalFGM+=round($row['FGMqty'],0); $loadTotal +=$row['ompordertotalbase']; } echo "<tr style='background:#eee'> <td colspan='7'>TOTAL</td> <td>$TotalFGI</td> <td>$TotalFGM</td> <td> </td> <td> </td> <td>$loadTotal</td> </tr> </table>"; odbc_close($connect); ?>
Hi there again all I am making a site that has a popout music player. My question is since the player is opened by javascript is there a way to let the original page know that the popout is open? Every other time a user/users click on a link I want the link to change to a different url the next time a user clicks onto that link.
For example two links
url1.html
url2.html
url1.html shows up when a user clicks that link the link auto changes to then when a new user clicks the linke url2.html then back to url1.html and so on?
Don't know where to start on how I would do this let alone have the server remember to keep which ever link to be held for the next user?
Can i open a pdf within a page? e.g. within <td> or <table> of htmls so that it appears on a section of a page where someone can just read through and still able to browse the web page. I dont want the PDF downloading or taking the whole page or even opening a new window and filling it. Thanks in advance. this is my code which is using to check login from database calledchklogin.php Code: [Select] <?php session_start(); include('connect.php'); $tbl_name="members"; mysql_select_db($Db, $link); // username and password sent from form $myusername=$_POST['myusername']; $mypassword=$_POST['mypassword']; // To protect MySQL injection (more detail about MySQL injection) $myusername = stripslashes($myusername); $mypassword = stripslashes($mypassword); $myusername = mysql_real_escape_string($myusername); $mypassword = mysql_real_escape_string($mypassword); $mypassword = md5($mypassword); $sql="SELECT * FROM $tbl_name WHERE uname='$myusername' and upass='$mypassword'"; $result=mysql_query($sql,$link); $row=mysql_fetch_array($result); // Mysql_num_row is counting table row $count=mysql_num_rows($result); // If result matched $myusername and $mypassword, table row must be 1 row if($count==1){ // Register $myusername, $mypassword and redirect to file "login_success.php" session_register("username"); //Create the session session_register("myusername"); session_register("mypassword"); $_SESSION['uname'] = "$myusername"; $_SESSION['utype'] = $row['utype']; header("location:loginsuccess.php"); } else { //include ('index.php'); echo ("<script type='text/javascript'> window.alert('Wrong username or password!')</script>"); exit(); } ?> & this code is from another file called loginsuccess.php Code: [Select] <? session_start(); if(!session_is_registered(myusername)){ header("location:index.php"); exit(); } require_once("login-index.php"); ?> so when everything is right in chklogin.php then it open loginsuccess.php after that when all is true then it open login-index.php after that this page open it show double page one is index.php where the login form & another is this login-index.php at one time |
