PHP - Wysiwyg Leaving <p Which Is Messing Output

ok im using a wysiwyg and i include php should i secure with mysql_real_escape_string() or will it not work
everything a admin write in the wysiwyg  goes to table in the database

Well I have a script that executes a scan on a system set to run infinitely, and I need it to echo out a message each time it loops through, but I don't want it to echo out the message with the next loop message below it, and the next one below that etc... I've tried using the flush(); function and been messing around with that with no luck. For security reasons I don't want to release any of the processing code, but here is the basic construction of the script:

So what I want it to do is just delete the scanning message and replace it with the next scan message so while running this script you would see just the number increment on the same line.

I have a page that looks great without any php in it. As soon as I do a php db call all my div's align left and everything is skew.

So i have an array with 1 item in it... this item is a sting that looks like so

I need to somehow pull out all things that are within double quotation marks. Note: Some quotes are empty, but i need to know that.

what I'm doing is uploading multiple images, usually a different amount each time. That works fine until I added a for loop using the rename function to get the images just uploaded and rename them. What's happening now is only the last image in the $uploaded_files array is actually being uploaded and being renamed. Am i using the wrong syntax somewhere? Thanks in advance for the replies.

I am making a simple script for my friend that uses mod_rewrite, but for testing I don't use the mod_rewrite link.

I had originally created a topic on my pagination not working, but I found out what the problem was. The topic I had created was irrelevant to what the problem was... but anyway, here's my situation:

I've got a query that searches in a MySQL table for a certain value. Then it list's all the findings in a table (pretty simple). Anyway, I obviously want to have a pagination system to make it easier to manage the amount of data per page.

The pagination works fine, it's used for another query that just pulls data (so NO WHERE clause is used!). That is what is causing the problem. I spent hours trying to figure out why this is happening, then I figured out that the only difference between the pagination that works and the one that doesn't is the query have the where clause.

What happens when the where clause is used is that the pagination works fine on the first page, but if you click the link to go to a different page, the page is empty and turns up no results so the mysql data that is pulled is lost.

So here is my code. I don't know exactly why the where clause causes the pagination to not work.

Sorry for my noob question, I've learned about sessions a bit and tried to make a simple "game", basically a user has to enter one of the colors of the rainbow and after they name all 7, they win. Sounds simple enough, but I'm clearly making an obvious mistake and I've googled and read and experimented, but obviously something is alluding me.

I suppose what I want to know is...how do I store the values from the form (that is, $_POST['color']) and save that information to something like an array, because whatever I'm doing now is resetting the counter ($_SESSION['left']) and if a user guesses "red" for instance, it temporarily goes from 7 to 6, but then bumps up to 7?

Hello, first time poster..  I've looked the web over for a long time and can't figure this one out.

- Below is basic code that successfully checks MySQL for a match and displays result.  I was debugging and forced the "height" and "width" to be 24 and 36 to make sure that wasn't the problem.  That's good.. 
- I'd like to give the user ability to select width and height from a form.. and have it do an onchange this.form.submit so the form can be changing as fields are altered (thus the onchange interaction)
- In a normal coding environment I've done this numerous times with no "Page cannot be displayed" problems.  It would simply change one select-option value at a time til they get down the form and click submit...  but in WordPress I'm having trouble making even ONE single onchange work!
- I've implemented the plugins they offer which allows you to "copy+paste" your php code directly into their wysiwyg editor.  That works with basic tests like my first bullet point above.
- I've copied and pasted the wordpress url (including the little ?page_id=123) into the form "action" url... that didn't work...  tried forcing it into an <option value=""> tag.. didn't work.  I'm just not sure. 

I've obviously put xx's in place of private info..

Why does this form give me Page Cannot Be Displayed in WordPress every time?  It won't do anything no matter how simple.. using onchange..

I am come across a very odd situation when I include a connnet.php file.  For some reason it messes up the layout of the page.  However when I enter the connect code onto the page it looks fine.
