PHP - Hotmail Detecting As Spam Mail() Function
Similar Tutorialsi think because of my code used to send the mail, on my site, its appearing in the spam folder of most of my clients PLUS myself is their a way to eradicate this? correct headers? etc? Hello there, I've come across a issue with using PHP's mail function due to the fact I've tried a assortment of different headers yet Hotmail continues to place my sent emails in the junk folder. Hello everyone, I have website that uses the php(mail) function to notify users when something happens on their account. The site was created for a school district so all the users are district employees where their incoming email is subject to pretty strict spam filtering. I am using headers to indicate to the recipient that the email is coming from support@mysite.com, but I guess the mail servers see past this and recognize that it's coming from a php(mail) function. Because of this, all of the emails being sent are being blocked by the filter. I've tried adding all emails coming from an address that ends with "@mysite.com" but this doesn't work. This is what the addresses look like that the spam filter is actually seeing: elmas156@p3nlhftpg049.shr.prod.phx3.secureserver.net And I can't just add a single address to the white list because each time an email is sent, the letters and numbers after "@" and before "secureserver.net" are different. I`m currently generating spam via my own mailserver, its not much, but some of my clients receive messages that the messages they send could not be delivered. ( They are probably not snding them, but some script on one of the many websites is).
Problem is that i`m currently unable to figure out which one of the websites is generating this spam. There are about 150 websites on this server.
Some have old wordpress versions on them because the clients don`t ever update them.
I`ve looked into adding a line in php.ini which should log all mails.
mail.add_x_header = On mail.log="E:\logs\phpmail\php-mail-errors.log" However this file keeps on being 0 bytes . Also if i generate a mail via a contact form which i made but the log is not showing it. The mail gets picked up by the mail servers, so the script does work. I`ve also checked that the php version is 5.0 or higher because otherwise the lines i added to the php.in would not be accepted by a earlier version then 5.0. The last I`ve done is changed the rights to the log file to writetable for the iis user, perhaps thats whats needed for the lines inh php to work. Has anyone any experiende with this issue ? 1) If SKU starts with 2, email should go to the mail id abc@gmail.com,
2) If SKU starts with 3, email should go to the mail id xyz@gmail.com,

FYI - If an order contains 10 items email should go separately based on SKU. But an order id the same must include all the emails.
Hi all, I'm coding an automated mailer for a dentist office. They set appointment dates through a web interface, and then this appointment is mailed to the customer via PHP's mail() function. However, some users are not receving the mail. They claim that it is not even in the junk mail folder. Is it because I'm setting or not setting certain properties in the header? Is this a normal behavior for this? We've been "discussing" whether or not they work for about 2 - 3 days and in most instances they do. However we've had 1 person fill them out and then we never received the emails. Hello, I am using php to send verification links for my website.The registration form sends data to xyz.php(using AJAX) and the response(echo'd part of xyz.php) is returned and shown to the user.
