PHP - A Simple Question Regarding $_post

Hi all,

I have been working on this script for over 5 hours, the script used to work but I have recreated some html code in the html form and I think it may have something to do with why the script does not work but I can not see it.

Hopefully an extra pair of eyes can help.

The I have tested what the $_POST['title'] below echos in the php script and it does carry the value to the php page, but the IF statement does not work.

The part of the PHP page that does not work is below. If the php below just says if ($_POST['reg'] == "")... it works but as soon as I put || $_POST['title'] it does not work. I have also tried if ($_POST['reg'] && $_POST['title'] == "")... which DOES work?

I have data that is in a form right now being displayed in a textbox because I want the user to see the 'name' but the data that needs to be passed when submit is pressed is the id of the entity. So if I have  <label id = "username" Value = "3"> Heintzman</label> can I use $_Post to retrieve that value once the form has been submitted because I dont want the data to be displayed in a textbox it looks ugly and isnt long enough for the text without editing.

I have a question. 

I have the following code to grab all of my $_POST vars and run through my filter function

    $mydata[$key] = filter($value);
     }

Before using the foreach loop I was just doing the basic

$var1 = $_POST['var1'];
$var2 = $_POST['var2'];

I'm going to have about 40 - 50 $_POST vars so my question is how do i return it as just a $var name instead of having to do this

 echo "<br><br><br>example1" . $mydata['var1'];
 echo "<br><br><br>example2" . $mydata['var2'];

I guess its hard for me to explain..

if someone can help me out with this, its quite simple but I can't seem to get it to work..

Basically, this is the code I have for now, the issue is if I have 0 product or items, I don't want the sorting option to show up on the page,    from the code below, what line can I add tosay that if there is no products in a category, not to show the SORT feature.

Hello to everyone

I would like to ask for this simple question.. Im trying to put if and else condition on my php code. However this condition is not working..

echo "No results found";
}else{ echo "results has been found"; }
This variable $file is the result after i used an API.. If the API does not see any results they would return #3# as the result. This means they returned a transaction code of 3 which you can see here http://developer.textapp.net/WebService/TransactionCodes.aspx means that there was nothing to return.

The condition does not function well even if i make 3 or #3# as part of the condition. Can you help me guys?
