PHP - Error On Submiting Data To Database
Hey im agen stuck on code i get You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 but i think i have all correct if i submit i get values but that dont add in database

Thanks. Hi im currently learning php and mysql and as a test (or a lesson) i thaught id do a timesheet site which adds the time and date and so on to the datatbase. Now im at the stage where i want to actually view the times for a particular date... The problem im getting is that with the date picker which is a simple dropdown menu for the days/month/year but when i submit the form to the view.php file the result i get is 'Submit Query' which is the value of the button... In the below example I am using two while loops, where the second one is nested inside first one, that check two different expressions fetching data from tables found in a MySQL database. The second expression compares the two tables IDs and after their match it displays the email of the account holder in each column in the HTML table. The main problem is that the 'email' row is displayed properly while its while expression is not nested and alone(meaning the other data is omitted or commented out), but either nested or neighbored to the first while loop, it is displayed horizontally and the other data ('validity', 'valid_from', 'valid_to') is not displayed.'

Hi, I've currently started to modify a chat script of mine to output a moderation panel but the moderation page seems empty(blank) every time I load it. Currently what I'm trying to do is to create a blogging software through PHP (for myself) and when trying to change the amount of posts viewable on the edit/delete page, the form, which auto-submits if JavaScript is enabled, should deliver the following result:
"/?page=EditPost&limit=6"
This is obviously depending on what value is chosen, it can be anywhere from 5 to 10. But what it is actually returning is "?limit=6".

Ubuntu PHP Mysql So I got this form validator script online and I applied the validator part of it to my own form. My form requires a NAME and a SERIAL to be inputted and the SERIAL must be all numbers. I tested the validator by leaving NAME blank in my form and SERIAL all letters. The dispalyed resutls show the correct error messages: "Name : Please fill in a name for this computer." and "Serial : Please fill in a serial number for this computer." But the entry is still submitted with the errors and all. Here is my validator script. I want the form data to be 1) stored into a mysql database AND after storing said data, 2) email the same data to our sales department. 1) The form data DOES get stored into mysql database (except for the first two fields, for some weird reason) 2) I added a "mail" section to the php file that stores the data into the database, but it is not working correctly. I have stripped the email portion down to sending just one of the fields in the "message" to make it easier for troubleshooting I have included here, both the form section of the html file, and the formdata.php file that processes the data for your analysis. I am relatively new to php so there are going to be some issues with security, but I can work on those after I get the store & email process to work correctly. The first one is the dummy, and the second one is the final. Basically, this two web applications does the same, just a few modifications made on the final one. I have a process of pulling out of information from the database should the user would want to modify a field. I have a problem though, the dummy one works perfectly, but the new one don't.
