PHP - How To Convert Dob Timestamp From Myql Table Field To Age Using Php
Hi
I have members DOB stored in a mysql table field called birthday in the following format YYYY-MM-DD I can't seem to convert the time stamp into the members age I need to be able to feed $birthday which is the field in mysql table that is in the above format and then use php code to convert to members age Everything I try doesn't seem to work Similar TutorialsThis is my first real jump into PHP, I created a small script a few years ago but have not touched it since (or any other programming for that matter), so I'm not sure how to start this. I need a script that I can run once a day through cron and take the date from one table/filed and insert it into a different table/field, converting the human readable date to a Unix date. Table Name: Ads Field: endtime_value (human readable date) to Table Name: Node Field: auto_expire (Converted to Unix time) Both use a field named "nid" as the key field, so the fields should match each nid field from one table to the next. Following a tutorial I have been able to insert into a field certain data, but I don't know how to do it so the nid's match and how to convert the human readable date to Unix time. Thanks in advance!. Can anyone please tell me how I convert DD-MM-YYY (text) to TIME (unix) thought I'd say that I have this line at the top of all my pages, just in case it means a different code. Code: [Select] date_default_timezone_set('Europe/London'); //### Set the default timezone Ok Let's say I have a timestamp: 1327482941 I want to convert this to output only "60" im not looking for a whole time_ago function, simply just need to convert a timestamp down to seconds ONLY not having minutes/years/etc no need none of that just purely seconds starting from 1-60 if so how is it possible? I tried to just Code: [Select] $seconds = substr($e,1,4) . ""; $e is my timestamp, I did this because I could just grab the last 2 digits in the timestamp that would be what I want, but that's not possible because it goes 1-90 not 1-60 ^_^ help Here is a code I am trying to make it only spit out 1-60 in seconds Code: [Select] function timeAgo4($timestamp, $granularity=1){ $difference = $timestamp; if($difference < 0) return '0'; elseif($difference < 86400){ $periods = array(60,'' => 1); $output = ''; foreach($periods as $key => $value){ if($difference >= $value){ $time = round($difference / $value); $difference %= $value; $output .= ($output ? ' ' : '').$time.' '; $granularity--; } if($granularity == 0) break; } return ($output ? $output : '0').''; } else return date($format, $timestamp); } I have a string in php: Quote Sat, 28 Apr 2012 05:09:45 GMT I want to convert it to timestamp Example: 1335594473 sorry, I know this is simple, but stuck on it... how would one go about converting 1/21/11 to a UNIX timestamp, something like 1293035229? and while we are at it, how to convert 1293035229 to 1/21/11 ? (i know the timestamp is wrong, just for example) thanks!!!!! I'm hitting a SQL Server db and every table has a ts (timestamp) field that is a binary datatype - 8 bytes. Is there a way to "read" the binary and output it as a string? How to output a MySQL timestamp field to correct local time with daylight saving with PHP?
Local time is set in php.ini with: date.timezone = "Europe/London"
Confirmed set with: <?php echo date_default_timezone_get(); ?>
But when I echo the timestamp field it does not display correct UK time for the record (an hour behind correct UK time).
<?php echo date('jS F Y - g:ia', strtotime($row['Date'])); ?>
I'm trying to do this with the code below. I get an error because explode thinks I'm just sending it one argument since the string is held by an array element. If I can get the array from the explode function I can insure it into the first and last name fields in my table. Any suggestions? --Kenoli require '__classes/Db.php'; $sql = "SELECT name FROM tbl_persons"; $stmt = $pdo->query($sql); $row = $stmt->fetchall(PDO::FETCH_ASSOC); foreach ($row as $name) { $names = explode($name['name']); }
Hi guys! I need some help with a code problem. I've a form with 2 inputs, one single and one multiline, and I need to pass the value of both into an array, var1 (single input) is the same for every line and var2 (multiline) change with every line Hoe can i do it? Hello everyone! I am trying to insert a student into a table (with TIMESTAMP; works with VARCHAR, not TIMESTAMP). Can anyone help?
Variable
$time_stamp = date("D M j G:i:s T Y");Populate DB Query ("DROP TABLE IF EXISTS enrolled") || !$link->query("CREATE TABLE enrolled(course_id VARCHAR(50), student_id VARCHAR(50), user_ip VARCHAR(50), time_stamp TIMESTAMP(6))Insert Query INSERT INTO enrolled(course_id,student_id,user_ip,time_stamp) VALUES('$course','$number','$user_ip','$time_stamp') Edited by MatthewPatten, 12 December 2014 - 08:32 AM. Dear All I want to display my data in tabular columns with the headings of table like 00:06-00:08,00:08-00:10,00:10:00:12:00........22:00-24:00.i.e.time In database I have two columns one containing value and other containing time when this reading was done. I could retrieve data from my mysql table in php and look at time. I want to know how could I insert the value to the correct column of table based on the time. e.g If I have record in table in database say containing value 09:45 and 5. I want this value to go to the column heading 00:08-00:10 and same thing for the other values. I hope I am clear with the problem definition but if you need more info.Please let me know. Thanks, elp I have a simple mysql database holding information about an image upload including its 'name' and 'date uploaded' [current_timestamp()] to a folder 'image' I then display it into a table using the php ‘foreach’ facility. I want the date to be displayed in the ‘dd/mm/yyyy’ format. not the default yyyy/mm/dd. Here is the relevant code <?php $conn = mysqli_connect("localhost", "root", "", "dbname"); $results = mysqli_query($conn, "SELECT * FROM tablename"); $image = mysqli_fetch_all($results, MYSQLI_ASSOC); ?> <?php foreach ($image as $user): ?> <td><p>NAME</p><?php echo $user['name']; ?></td> <td><p>COMMENT</p><?php echo $user['comment']; ?></td> <td><p>DATE</p><?php echo $user['date']; ?></td> What do I need to do? THANKS- Warren Hi, I'm developing an app using flash AS2 as the front end via PHP and a mySQL database at the backend on my server. what i'm looking to do is update/insert into a table called 'cards' and at the same time update/insert into another table called 'jingle'. There is a field called 'cardID' in jingle that should be the same as the ID number created in 'cards' thus creating a link between entries in the different tables that can be called up as i choose. hope i've been clear i just wouldn't know where to start any help would be appreciated. MySQL client version: 5.0.91 PHPmyAdmin Version information: 3.2.4 thanks in advance I use PHPMyAdmin. I have to convert an InnoDB table to a MyISAM table. I then have to add a FULLTEXT index to two of the table's columns.
Is this how I should proceed?
1) Backup table by exporting its contents.
2) Go to "Relation view" and drop foreign key constraints.
3) ALTER TABLE `table_name` ENGINE = MyISAM;
4) ALTER TABLE `table_name` ADD FULLTEXT index_name (col1,col2);
Is that it? Is it safe?
Note that the table contains approximately 3,500 rows.
Hi
I am very new to PHP & Mysql.
I am trying to insert values into two tables at the same time. One table will insert a single row and the other table will insert multiple records based on user insertion.
Everything is working well, but in my second table, 1st Table ID simply insert one time and rest of the values are inserting from 2nd table itself.
Now I want to insert the first table's ID Field value (auto-incrementing) to a specific column in the second table (only all last inserted rows).
Ripon.
Below is my Code:
<?php $con = mysql_connect("localhost","root","aaa"); if (!$con) { die('Could not connect: ' . mysql_error()); } mysql_select_db("ccc", $con); $PI_No = $_POST['PI_No']; $PO_No = $_POST['PO_No']; $qry = "INSERT INTO wm_order_entry ( Order_No, PI_No, PO_No) VALUES( NULL, '$PI_No', '$PO_No')"; $result = @mysql_query($qry); $val1=$_POST['Size']; $val2=$_POST['Style']; $val3=$_POST['Colour']; $val4=$_POST['Season_Code']; $val5=$_POST['Dept']; $val6=$_POST['Sub_Item']; $val7=$_POST['Item_Desc']; $val8=$_POST['UPC']; $val9=$_POST['Qty']; $N = count($val1); for($i=0; $i < $N; $i++) { $profile_query = "INSERT INTO order_entry(Size, Style, Colour, Season_Code, Dept, Sub_Item, Item_Desc, UPC, Qty, Order_No ) VALUES( '$val1[$i]','$val2[$i]','$val3[$i]','$val4[$i]','$val5[$i]','$val6[$i]','$val7[$i]','$val8[$i]','$val9[$i]',LAST_INSERT_ID())"; $t_query=mysql_query($profile_query); } header("location: WMView.php"); mysql_close($con); ?>Output is attached. I have a file that is uploaded by the user that has a series of rows of data in an html table. The columns are always a constant, but the number of rows in the file can change. These rows of the html table are the only information in the file when I am processing it. I need to either convert the file to a CSV file or write the values to a CSV list so that I can then insert them into a database. Any suggestions would be wonderful...I've spent the last three hours spinning my wheels. Here is an example of one row of data from the file: Code: [Select] <tr><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >5 (Excellent)</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >5 (Excellent)</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >5 (Excellent)</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT > </td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT > </td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >DATA</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >1015020</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >155498322</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >DATA</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >4731751</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >2011-09-25 11:18:33 (-5:00)</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >2011-09-25 12:16:50 (-5:00)</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >0:58:17</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >0:58:16</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >DATA</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >DATA</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >DATA</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >Resolved</td></tr> Hi all!!! I could really use some help. I'm burning my brain out trying to figure out the easiest way to go about this. Here is what I am trying to do (in a nutshell) so I could really use full coding examples. I need to create a text area with simple formatting tools such as Bold, Italics, Underline, Bullets, and Numbering. After formatting the text with only those available formatting tools, everything in the text area needs to be converted into html tags. After the conversion, the HTML data that is create is submitted into a single field into a SQL database. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!! Hi, I have a connection set up to an API using a PHP script - the API sends back data in JSON format, and if I capture it and echo it, it displays in extremely unfriendly format on the screen. I've tried to find a way to convert this data into readable format, ideally in a HTML table, but although there are articles on converting manually inputted JSON data into a HTML table using Javascript, I can't find a way to do it from a PHP variable. This is what I have so far: if ($_POST['getcompany']) { $companyname = $_POST['_Name']; $ch = curl_init(); $data_array2 = array( 'token' => $token ); $make_call2 = json_encode($data_array2); //echo 'Token is '.$token; $token2 = substr($token, 14); $token3 = substr($token2, 0, -3); //echo 'Token 2 is '.$token3; //echo 'Company Name is '.$companyname; //curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_GET, 1); //curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, $make_call2); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_HTTPHEADER, array('Content-Type: application/json','Authorization: '.$token3.'')); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, true); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, 'https://connectionurl?countries=GB&name='.$companyname); //Execute the request $result = curl_exec($ch); echo 'Companies: '.$result; //This displays the data provided by the search, but is in JSON format
So I need a way to get the data held in $result, into a HTML table. Any idea how I can do this? Lets say I want to get the name of the first field in a table (or the second) and assign it to a variable. i.e., if the first fieldname in a table is called "record_number", I would want: $first = "record_number"; Here's what I was able to come up with so far but not sure what to do next: $sql = "SELECT * FROM $tbl "; $result = mysql_query($sql) or die("Query failed : " . mysql_error()); $line = mysql_fetch_array($result, MYSQL_ASSOC); Is there a way to duplicate all rows in a table AND change one field's value for each new row?
For example...
TABLE: comments
FIELDS:
commentid
userid
comment
weeknumber
Say there are only 5 comments in there like this (I have MANY rows, but keeping sample size small for example's sake)...
1-17-hello-3
2-41-hey-3
3-18-yo-3
4-67-sup-3
5-12-hola-3
I would like to duplicate them AND make the "weeknumber" = 4, so the table ultimately has 10 rows like this...
1-17-hello-3
2-41-hey-3
3-18-yo-3
4-67-sup-3
5-12-hola-3
1-17-hello-4
2-41-hey-4
3-18-yo-4
4-67-sup-4
5-12-hola-4
Is this doable?
Thanks...
