PHP - Update One Record Depending On Who's Logged In?
Hey guys, I'm just trying to add a form button to my site that updates a user's data in the mysql database. However I'm struggling trying to find a way to define which field to edit, can someone tell me if I'm along the correct lines:

In pages table i will have all the details of page like page_id, code, herf, pagename.. and i will select few from this table and store it in access_level table depending on the department and position. Now while editing, i will display all the pages which is stored in access_level pages with a particular page code along with those pages from pages table. if the page_id exists in access_level table, its has to get updated, if its not present then it should get inserted into access_level table. Hi, I'm trying to display a user review system allowing user's to vote. This works fine, but I'm trying to user php to only display the rating system if the user is logged in and display alternate text if they are not. In this example "testuser". Now the page updates.php will have an id attached to like so: updates.php?id=13. Which will have info only available for testuser's eyes. On the page it does this. 2The big question is, how can I get a true/false for "if current user has liked post"? I was thinking something like this, but using vars won't work here, and I would have to use a ternary or a function call to do it like this as the session var might not be set (guest).

Anyone can suggest me what is the best way to update table records. I'm kinda scared to make an update on a table because it may damage the system and I am not really good on SQL commands.
Right now I just made a process on PHP to update table records. It does update email records on but it stop because of the limit of loading the page. Is there anyway accurately update all the data of the table.
Here is what I want to achieve.
I have a table with an "email" field on it, those email data from "email" field on tb_one must be change to cID records base on tb_two.

Separate from that page I would like to have another where at any given time a user can download a .csv of the most recent addition or two?
