PHP - Database File Echoing Problem.
I have a file in a mysql database and when I echo it shows all of the php code from the file in the database on the page when it is echoed. How can I fix this problem. I notice a lot of websites coded from php have things like ?go=register or ?page=login something like that. Could you guys tell me how to do things like that. Im pretty sure when people do things like ?go=register the register is the code of a file in a mysql database.

I want to turn each field into it's own variable (you'll see oc1, oc2 etc in the code) and then echo the variable just to check it has worked. When I run the qry below - it picks up the first one correctly but then places the same value in all the other fields. (The $question var should be a long text string but is echoing the first variable instead. Now, my problem is how to make a Php script to DOWNLOAD this uploaded file considering the
1. file path
2. file name
3. file extension.
4. student_id (to determine the specific file from a specific student)
My plan is to make a download button which hyperlink to download.php and after clicking that button the specified file to a specific student id will automatically be downloaded by the browser.

I have developed the thing but the problem is when i am retrieving the words it asks for all the words. i will show u wat the problem is.
