PHP - Compare 4 Text Fields And Return Page If Correct.

Basically i want to return/display User OS info/name from input field...

Above scripts works well when I run it...
It will display my OS version

But the problem it is, I want to create an input field so user can key in any IP address and the scripts above will display the OS info/name if valid else invalid...   Above scripts use.. $user_agent = $_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT']; that automatically display OS info/name...

But I want manually key in the IP from input field and the scripts above will display correspond OS info/name from the input field...

how to change scripts above...especially  $user_agent = $_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT']; so it can return IP address from input field??   I`m greatly honor if you guys would like to help out..
 

Hi everyone,

Im using the code below to insert an item to auction, then calculate and display the time remaining until the auction ends. As soon as the confirm auction submit button is clicked, the item appears at auction straight away, however the time remaining is 0s, i have to refresh the page in order to get the end time to appear correctly.

Does anybody know why this is happening and what i can do to get the correct end time to appear straight away?

but every page have 10-15 buttons every button in the end reloads the same page with   header("location:thispage.php#jumpselection"); or cals another page with   header("location:some_other_page.php#jumpselection");

this works but i notise some lag on the bowser afrer while..

Each status has a comment textarea.   How can I get it to alert what the user has typed in the textarea when the return key is pressed.   The textarea in the PHP loop is like this:

The reason why I am asking this and not how to save it to the database etc is because I think I will be able to do that.   Thanks,

I am a beginner in web development and seem to be understanding it very quickly, but there is one thing that is putting this into some halt.

I have this code right here, what I want to do is have a "riddle site", where if you answer the riddle correctly, it redirects you to another page (in other words to the next riddle).

Object:
If correct, give access to next page.
If incorrect, stay on page and print "Incorrect".

I've tried to start on it, but the way how HTML and PHP don't mix very well, I feel like in the middle of an ocean feeling helpless.

IE i have say 30 results returned from a sql query but only want to show ten at a time i no how to limit the result with the LIMIT 10 but how do i get it to put link show the other ten and so on.

It's pretty simple to see what I am trying to do here. For some reason all results in the table are the same exact cityName replacing all existing records. The echoed results are correct. I've include a small dump of my table as well.

I'm assuming this has something to do with cookies, which I am not to familiar with as I am pretty new to this PHP world and have mostly worked with wordpress... but this question was brought up to me, and I don't know where to start.

If a user is signed up for the mailing list on a site, we would like the home page the user lands on to be different than the page a new visitor who isn't signed up for the mailing list would see. I have tried to google this, but maybe I am using the wrong choices of words?

Any advice, links, etc would be so so soooo appreciated.

I am trying to implement lazy loading into a project with pagination already set up. If I was to go to my website and after the .com, type in "api_courselist.php?page=1" I would receive the first 20 results of my query. If I was to change that to page=2, it would retrieve the next 20 and so on. My issue is I have no idea how to implement that into my java script/ajax file. I have it set up so that when the user scrolls to the bottom of the page, a div will make its self visible with the new page populated inside of it and IT will keep on pulling pages in till There is no more content.

Here goes. I am trying to retrieve info. from mySql database and update 3 textfields. I also have 4 selects on the form that need populating during the running of the program. My problem is using console I can see the info - Customer name - but it does not appear in the text field. The onchange request in the DIV container seems to be where it fails. For example: I open some category and then open some article.
When i click ADD TO CART button (U KORPU) i want add product to basket and go back to last visited page.
Is there way to do these two things at the same time clicking ADD TO CART button?

Curious to know if someone could point me in the right direction, been struggling with this for a bit now.

I have a HTML page with a search field, I can enter a search term and hit the submit button and I am directed to my search.php page with the appropriate results. What I am looking to accomplish is having the search results from the search.php page displayed in a text area below my search field in my HTML page. I have included an image to better describe what I am looking to accomplish:
