PHP - !help! Popup Window Like Facebook Photos
I need help with my webpage here, how do you get so if you are at http://www.blabla.com/account.php and then click on a photo, it will go to www.blabla.com/photo.php?id=1 but still be at account.php? Just like facebook shows their photos. I dont know how to think nor to get it work. Would appreciate some help!
ThNXX 1n 4dv4nc3 // Machram! Similar TutorialsI was thinking of a board where you can bookmark the photos from Facebook.
It may require an App and a "Facebook Login" for the website, so one can bookmark photos from Facebook. The website would have additional features for the photos.
I thought of an "Add to ..." function.
Is this possible with the Facebook API?
Edited by glassfish, 07 October 2014 - 02:31 PM. I'm wondering what makes a pop-up login window run differently than inside a webpage. I can't seem to get my login system to bring the user back to the page (brings them to a page can't be found) when clicking a form submit button when it is included in the webpage. But if your in the popup page that I'm trying to include, it works no problem so I was wondering if it changes anything. Or if there is some sort of work around (such as embedding a popup window into the webpage). Thanks a lot! Trying to get popup window to work in php. Keep getting template parse errors. Here's the code I've been using in HTML: Code: [Select] echo ' <a onClick="window.open('annexplayerpop.shtm','popup','height=275,width=425,top=130,left=280,scrollbars=no')" target="popup"><img src="popupbutton-blue-bg.png" title="Popup MP3 Player" border="0" height="45" width="58"></a> '; I have a login modal window which is user for entering the login and password, and check it with the database.If the login and password is not there i nthe database the message shuld be displayed in the popup window itself. But in my case the popup window disapperas if the login details are wrong. how shuld i code for this. My code is pasted below. <div id="cover"></div> <div id="dialog"> <form action='' method='post' name='onlinepay'> <table width="388" border=1><tr><td colspan="4" align="right"></td><td align="right"><a href="index.php" onclick="closePopUp('dialog');"><img src='images/close.jpg' align="right" /></a></td></tr> <tr><td width="11" ></td> <td width="90">Username </td> <td width="57">:</td> <td width="147"><input type='text' name='username' id='username' /></td><td width="59"></td> </tr> <tr><td></td><td>Password</td><td>:</td><td><input type='text' name='password' id='password' /></td><td><input type='submit' name='submit' id='submit' value="Login" /></td></tr><tr><td colspan='5'><?php //connection statements goes here if(isset($_POST['submit'])){ $username=$_POST['username']; $password=$_POST['password']; $sql="select username,password from register where username='$username' and password='$password'"; $result=mysql_query($sql); $row=mysql_fetch_row($result); $row1=mysql_num_rows($result); if(($row['0']==$username) && ($row['1']==$password)){ header ('Location:themes/index.php'); } else{ echo "Username and password doesnot match"; } } ?> </td></tr> <tr><td colspan="5"><hr color="#999999" /></td></tr><tr><td></td><td colspan='2'><a href="javascript:void window.open('themes/forgotpassword.php?fullview=Y','','height=350,width=525,resizable=yes,scrollbars=yes')">Forgot password? </a> </td> <td><a href='register.php'>New User</a></td> <td align='center'> </td> </tr> </table> </form> Hi, On a website, there are products nicely listed with name, description, product code, price and a thumbnail etc. Now, if you click on a picture thumbnail, a new page called prodwin.php in a new window opens with the product code and for some reason, there is a "no picture available" alt image for every product. The line of code in it: <td colspan="2"><?php if(file_exists("../pics_p/".$HTTP_GET_VARS["PCode"].".jpg")){?><img src="../pics_p/<?php echo $HTTP_GET_VARS["PCode"] ?>.jpg" alt="Product Picture" galleryimg="no"><?php }else{?><img src="../imgz/nopic.jpg" alt="No Picture Available" width="306" height="200" galleryimg="no"><?php }?></td> The URL of that page looks like this: http://www.lock-tech.co.uk/scrptz/prodwin.php?SCode=CHL8K119S&PCode=CHL8K119S&PDescription=+DOOR%20PATIO%20LOCK&KEY%20SATIN&thePrice=%A328.52%20/%20EA On the other hand, when you click on the product name, it loads a different page called g_browse.php and the product image is nicely there. The line of code in it: <td height="366" colspan="2" valign="top"><?php if(file_exists("pics_p/".$array[$getVars["index"]]["PCode"].".jpg")){?><img src="pics_p/<?php echo $array[$getVars["index"]]["PCode"] ?>.jpg" alt="Product Picture" galleryimg="no"><?php }else{?><img src="imgz/nopic.jpg" alt="No Picture Available" width="306" height="200" galleryimg="no"><?php }?></td> Code: [Select] $HTTP_GET_VARS["PCode"].".jpg" - Product code + .jpg will give the image name in pics_p folder. a JavaScript block which might also be relavant: Code: [Select] function prodWindow(SCode, PCode, PDescription, thePrice) { var xPos=(screen.availWidth/2)-490; var yPos=(screen.availHeight/2)-116; var s=",top="+yPos+",left="+xPos; var win=open("scrptz/prodwin.php?SCode="+SCode+"&PCode="+PCode+"&PDescription="+PDescription+"&thePrice="+thePrice,'product', "toolbar=no,location=no,directories=no,status=no,menubar=no,resizable=no,copyhistory=no,scrollbars=no,height=414,width=316"+s); win.focus(); } Hope someone spots the problem. I have a simple form and on the same page a link to open a popup window. The client completes the form then click the upload link. In the popup window the client uploads a file. Problem On closing the popup window the main page is refreshed (to indicate the upload was successful) As the form was not initially submitted - All Form Data is then Lost Question Is there a way of submitting the form and opening a popup window at the same time (to preserve the data entered by the client) or is there another fix for this problem ? Any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers Hello,
I have a song streaming website, and i want to set a cookie inside a player popup to avoid that users increment the number of times that an album was played every time they access it.
I want the cookie to last at least 6h, but every time i test the code with 1,2 or 5 minutes it never ends in the time that i specify. For example i want it to last 3min and it may take 5 or 2min to end. Cant figure out why, because i used the same cookie code in a none popup window and it worked.
// player.php (POPUP) <?php session_start(); include("include/player-functions.php"); uniqueAlbumListens($db,$_GET['id']); (...) ?> //player_functions.php <?php (...) function uniqueAlbumListens($db,$id){ if(!isset($_COOKIE["ml".$id])){ updateListens($db,$id); } setcookie("ml".$id, "listens", time()+60*2); // 2minutes -> 60*2 ? || 6h -> 60*60*6 ? } (...) ?> As the topic sais i have a problem trying to send variables to a javascript popup window, i think the problem is on line 38. I've a form on a page, which needs a recaptcha field, due to design constraints however, it won't fit. I therefore need it so you fill in the form, click submit, a new window appears with the recaptcha field and a confirmation button. Once you click confirm, the form is processed and the email sent. What's the best way to do this please? The form script has the PHP to handle the emailing side. This topic has been moved to JavaScript Help. http://www.phpfreaks.com/forums/index.php?topic=317921.0 I have a Php application that already has 2 buttons with input on the index page that perform some functions and output to different Php pages. Works good. How do I add a button with no input that would just perform a function and then just display a popup window showing the contents of a text file? I want to add several of these buttons for different functions and just display the contents of the resulting text files in popup windows. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. This topic has been moved to JavaScript Help. http://www.phpfreaks.com/forums/index.php?topic=317523.0 I have some thousands of photos about nature I ll let visitors/members to see them one by one, but I dont want to show them the same photo again after they visit 1 week later How can I do this ? What I think as a solution is; For members; I can store the ids (like "everest01") of the photos that member has visited , and show user the most visited photos that he/she has not see for next visit. But what I m wondering is, how will I take the photos from DB ? select * from photos WHERE id not in ( $thousandsofvisitedphotoids ) ?? I m stuck here ? For visitors ( not members ) ; I can set a cookie that keeps the ids of visited photos.. when visitor visits the website again, I take the cookie and sent to $thousandsofvisitedphotoids and make a query again ? I m stuck here, How you guys do this ? what's the logic of this ? How should I go about keeping track of photos that a user has rated, since I only want the user to rate the photo once? Can I store arrays in a mysql database? thanks, George Hi! I am creating a small project somewhat like a photo gallery as my first practice page. I just would like to know how can I alter photos or file in php. Or should I just do a delete and then upload a new one? Thanks in advance... Hello. My website has a photo gallery of thumbnails that is created by reading all photo files in a specified directory. Here is my function that builds the array which is ultimately displayed in the gallery...
<?php function getPhotoFilesArray($photoPath){ /** * Takes path to photo-directory, and returns an array containing photo-filenames. */ // Initialize Array. $photoFiles = array(); // Check for Photo-Directory. if (is_dir($photoPath)){ // Photo-Directory Found. // Open Directory-Handle. $handle = opendir($photoPath); // Open Photo-Directory. if($handle){ // Initialize Key. $i = 1001; // Iterate through Photo-Directory items. while(($file = readdir($handle)) !== FALSE){ // Return next Filename in Directory. // Define fullpath to file/folder. $fullPath = $photoPath . $file; // Populate Array. if(!is_dir($fullPath) && preg_match("#^[^\.].*$#", $file)){ // Not Directory. // Not Hidden File. // Add to array. $photoFiles[$i] = $file; $i++; }//End of POPULATE ARRAY. }//End of ITERATE THROUGH PHOTO-DIRECTORY ITEMS closedir($handle); }//End of OPEN PHOTO-DIRECTORY }else{ // Photo-Directory Not Found. // Redirect to Page-Not-Found. header("Location: " . BASE_URL . "/utilities/page-not-found"); // End script. exit(); }//End of CHECK FOR PHOTO-DIRECTORY return $photoFiles; }//End of getPhotoFilesArray ?>
Everything works fine locally in DEV, but when I uploaded my website (and photos) onto a webserver, the photos are appearing in a backwards order in PROD. This is annoying, because I want the photos displayed chronologically from oldest (first) to newest (last). I'm not sure where the problem is happening, because each photo was taken with my camera and by nature of the camera, photo names are incremented by one, so IMG_001.jpg would have been taken FIRST, followed by IMG_002.jpg, IMG_003.jpg, and so on. How can I fix things so the photos are displayed in the order they were physically taken AND match how things display locally in DEV? Thanks!
